This video game is my definitive nostalgia, I can't watch this Bowser fight without crying, I really don't know why, but it makes me very melancholy, It reminds me of watching my uncle play, I shared many moments with him and video games in my childhood, He is fine, he just made his life, he had a family, he stopped playing and we really separated from what united us, I had a tough childhood, I guess that's why it makes me want to cry...

This battle seems like a kid's version of Giygas
That’s exactly what I was thinking

Imagine playing a game that has everything drawn with crayons by some toddler and then turn into absolute hell because of some damn turtle wanting to ride some donkey.
This video game is my definitive nostalgia, I can't watch this Bowser fight without crying, I really don't know why, but it makes me very melancholy, It reminds me of watching my uncle play, I shared many moments with him and video games in my childhood, He is fine, he just made his life, he had a family, he stopped playing and we really separated from what united us, I had a tough childhood, I guess that's why it makes me want to cry...
always impressed to see how a 2d SNES game can have a 3D like boss-fight. beautiful relief effect
5:08 Says the person who tried kidnapping a baby, kidnapping the stork that tried delivering then, and attempting to prevent his brother and an innocent creature from saving him literally 10 times.
Fun fact, giant Baby Bowser isn’t a sprite, he’s part of the background :)
To this day, this is still the best final battle in a main series Mario game!
YES
When that pan flute/pipe kicks in at 8:55 I get actual chills and am immediately transported back to when I was 10 years old and beat this game for the first time. I’m 27 now and am trying to hold back tears
I was 5 when I played this game and use to freak out each time I saw browser getting close i remember one time I threw the remote control in the tv lol
This game had some of the most creative boss battles in the history of gaming
*Bowser starts running*
*Kid Me* INSTANT HEART ATTACK!
Awesome!!! The best Mario boss I had ever seen!
You can say that again
lol
*Yoshi
wait to see Bowser's Fury
When I played this as a child, this bossfight made my heart beat extremely fast..
I've got goosebumps. I loved this game so much as a kid.
The best video game ever created 🏆
5:24
Stork: I’m getting hanged help me it hurts
Yoshi: naw imma dance for a bit
Baby bowser, using Megalovania before it was cool
Don't even compare Yoshi's Island fucking piece of shit cancer
The Dark Slayer #⑥⑨ woah what the heck? undertale hate? (it's the fandom's fault right?)
Umm... Calm down
Undertale is cancer, please don't compare your shit furry game to this masterpiece
+Jacob Jones I'm not trying to start a war, (who am I kidding?) but it's his opinion.
I have war flashbacks of this fight. That charge he'd do at the screen in the final stages was positively panic-inducing.
I wish i could go back to this moment. I lost the first time, and my hands were cold and shaking, and I could feel my heart pounding in my chest. It wasn't even fear, just adrenaline.
I think this was the first video game I ever finished. I dried at the end ^^, I was probably around 9 or 10, one of my best video game related memories.
To be a kid and not knowing what the final boss battle was going to be.... then having baby bowser appear from the darkness as a giant....
Me as a kid wanted to cry. I was scared, yes.
Oh the memories.
okay but ... this game is from 1995 and I just think it's insane how well it was made, I'll forever love this game.
Gotta love how Yoshi will literally go up against what is essentially Godzilla armed with only eggs. And why? To reunite two brothers he has never even known the existence of before recently. He's been there for them since the beginning.
Yoshi puts up with a lot of shit for Mario's sake, and damned if that don't tug at your heartstrings in some way or another.
It’s incredible how my brain *instantly remembers* a beat and fight sequence that I haven’t seen or listened to in literally decades.
