As a casual player this update really screwed me.
If you think about it. It is halfway bad. You have attachments way sooner but I don't think they should have changed gold requirements, they should have just saved 200 for the new camo or something like that
The opposite is the case, you will get your Attachments way faster. If u are a completionist tho, it did hurt you

somehow ubisoft always scew games i just needed 1 level now i am 93 and now i dont want to play this game anymore i will not play it until some new update comes or when season 1 will launch
This is so frustrating. My m4 was at lvl 96 and I thought I was finally done using that trash gun. now I am stuck with it for another 100 levels.

I dont like camo grind changes at all, but I already got 6 gold camos pre-nerf. TDM is game saver for me. As TDM/FFA only player (from like 5000 lifetine CoD hours at least 4500 hours are in TDM/FFA) I am so tired of objectives, even hotshot. I dont want to ignore them and screw others in team, yet playing them is draining life from me when all I want is farm kills and that will never change in any game ever for me. Even in something like WZ, PUBG, Fortnite I would always rather die in first 5 minutes with 6+ kills than win whole BR match with 1-2. Always. I am and always will be just k/d grinder and I prefer playing gamemode where it actually also helps to win.
Pre patch gold is 349,500xp to get post patch is 600,000xp. They added 250k xp to get the same camo which is an 58% increase in xp to unlock gold. If you look at by kills it went from 3500 to 6000.
Its actually more than 58%

About time I uninstall. Used to play for maybe 1hr a day or so. Even the dailies seem bit too much for me. I usually play games like apex for dailies and quit but this game never wants me to come back and feels like a chore

Yeah after this change I'm only getting guns gold that I like to use. Forget grinding 200 weapon levels for every gun.
Especially because of how sweaty XD can be at times. No point grinding a gun that underperformes now.
Yeah its complete bs with how long it takes to level guns and now its double to get trash bronze, silver, and gold camos lol. They should have reduced the xp for levels like they did on the guns and left the FN camo levels alone.
Yup it used to be 350k exp to max a weapon and now it’s 600k almost double.
Everyone so mad lol I can get my attachments even quicker now this is an absolute win
The xp progression is not that fast where I can hit lvl 150-200 as someone who is playing it casually
What up bro and basically the Level Cap is at 200 now for all weapons so had my MP7 at 100 for maybe like a week and now with the patch I'm like level 120 on my MP7 so now gotta use the weapon again to max it out lol 🤣 at least still have my Gold Camo.
This wouldn’t be a bad thing if they added more camos for the mastery. There’s huge gaps of just worthless grinding to get the camos now and I’d lose interest.

Its weapon xp bruh you need to get kills with said weapon
@@Misske. And? You somehow change the skin color of your weapon by getting experience through kills. What's so bad about or hard to understand that objective score should do the same? Furthermore, by allowing kills/assists and half of your objective score to be given to weapon xp not only does it make attachment grind quicker, it also incentivizes objective play if you want to make it even faster. The game will have less people only going for kills and more people doing both. Sounds like a better alternative than complete ignorance of one or the other. But it's fine I only have one more weapon left to grind out attachments for and TDM comes out tomorrow.
@@semaar7 weapon xp is for when you use the weapon to use the weapon you have to do damage or get kills. Just admit your ass.

I will be dropping this game if they don’t revert it no doubt about it. They could have did so many other things but they decided on the worst decision whoever thought this was a good idea needs to be fired ASAP!!! They didn’t even add any other camos lol. Who wants to play with one gun for this long lol?

Honestly if they wanted to increase the level cap for camos what they should have done instead was in season 1 introduce new camos for level 150 and 200 while keeping the original 3 at the same level. This just felt like a slap on the face to those people grinding all the camos. Having something to do in a game is always good but when it’s too much all at once people tend to drop it.
Give it time and they’ll screw the game up. The cheats are already in. It’ll be just another shooter in no time.

I think TDM is going to be a great way for players to do camo grinding by just focusing on kills to level up weapons. Of course, I'll be sticking with objective based modes because I love them.
Grinding for camos makes no sense if you can’t showcase them on killcam or ppl spectating you like S&D.
As a casual, I just don’t care. Just want to play a good game which XD is that. Thanks.
