If you fasten a wide (50 feet or so) section of chain link fence (reinforced) to that there bucket or boom , you could rake that stuff close to shore an spill it up on shore .
It looks as though that crappie is floating and not attached to the bottom. It may be a good idea to put one of your guys in a boat and push that mess to you. You did a good job with what you had so my hats off to you. I just remember you saying you are a perfectionist and with a boat you would be able to get all those little annoying loose pieces and push or direct them to the side where you can grab them with the Volvo's thumb and get close to the structures. Nevertheless good work.
thats why it has such a small bucket. I dont think there was any extra counterweight on the machine from the factory specs. But yes you need to know what you are doing or you'll end up flipped over!
Been watching some of your "Long Reach" videos recently Chris, I appreciate they're old videos but the Liebherr looks a fair bit more stable on the back end & also the Kobelco looks to be a bit under powered on the main lift?
You would be better taking the wide bucket off and using a root rake on it, then you wont be getting bucket full's of water with the weed and most likely more weed each time.

my dad had one of these on his yard right before he moved to Rudd Equipment, seller of the finest machines! (They're better then CAT)

this is a fantastic video of a machine scraping at something
what is that grass that you are removing?
Now are you just clearing out the grass or are you going to be dredging the canal as well
That's a nice sounding machine. What kind of reach can you get with the boom fitted?
Usually you can't believe most gents when they say they got a long stick.... but this fella here on the other hand truly has a long stick 🤣
00:36 I see Nessie! Or it can be a Narwhal.
Good Machine:D
It may seem weird but watching this video actually seems amusing.
How do these excavators not flip forwards from all the leverage that long boom give? Just a shit ton added counter weight?
where did the grass come to water ?
Thanks for the video. Id love to see more. I was wondering how deep the water is?
Thanks again!
10 feet or so.
I have a question: Is the working rpm fixed at just this rpm? It sound so high for just digging grass. Or maybe it is more heavy then i think.
How big is the canal your cleaning? what is the water used for?

its not figure it out
Today's Kobelco excavators are built at Kobelco's state-of-the-art factory in Hiroshima, Japan. 🚧🎌
do you still hate the machine chris or have you bonded with it lol
How do you transport something with that long of a boom? Wouldn't the boom stick out the ass end of the trailer?
how do you transport that?
So was this after the mechanic changed the controls around for you?
Because you seem to be flowing.. haha bad pun.
I can run those. Where can I get a job doing that?
more rpm=more speed to move the boom
👍
a large rake bucket might make the job quicker
omg thats long
is it only me that wanted to see using the 140 volvo to load it into the kw?????
i told you kobelco's are good :]
Co to dělá ?? ...
i wanna see the Alligator grass get loaded into a truck and dumped somewhere, !
@xbox360fani it grows in the water
