ACB 3C Mouthpiece Demo - A Fantastic Optimization of My Favorite Bach 3C Ever! Super Versatile

The ACB 3C is my take on a fantastic Bach 3C mouthpiece from the late 60's; I have never played a 3C like it. I think the added mass and proper matching backbore make this a formidable all-around mouthpiece! This is an extremely popular mouthpiece in our line. The rim is friendlier than the 3C profile of many other brands and the cup is a little more efficient without getting any shallower (check out our 3CS if you need more zip). These might seem like small tweaks but they can help your endurance over the course of a long program. Standard throat is 27, with our S (standard) backbore.
The sound shape can be further customized by your choice of outer blank, and gold plating is an option as well!

When I clicked to load the video video, I first was served an ad for Wedge mouthpieces. Nothing against Wedge per se, but it seemed real unusual to be presented with a competitive ad like that. Coincidence probably. But in any event, I do love my ACB MV3C and ACB MV3CB mouthpieces!

I have ACB MV3c. The best mpc I have ever played period. Bach 1 1/4 c is too big for me, Bach 3c a little too small, so ACB MV3c is right in the middle. Very happy with it.

I have your 3CS in the standard blank. I have been playing it for about a month. It’s my first ACB product, and it’s a really nice mouthpiece! I’m getting used to the slightly flatter rim than what I was playing - a Bach 3MV. The 3CS is a million times better in terms of build quality than the Bach.

What are the differences between this 3c and the gen 2 3c mouthpiece? I noticed that my gen 2 3c has a flat rim. Is this 3c a little more rounded?
