Nice review as usual. I have the 2019 4x2 EL Calibre AT. I would love to have those quad LEDs and that new steering wheel on my unit but over all, I am still very satisfied with what I have. This new 4x2 Calibre is a lot more expensive (around 200K) than the previous iteration but my older unit has roof rails, the 360 degree camera, 18 inch tires, and all that. Surely, there are a lot of new features here and there but the previous model is still a lot of value for money. Over all, you can't go wrong with the Nissan Navara, especially in terms of comfort + functionality.
yea but you cant see the reverse camera and the 360 degree camera properly in the older EL since it shows up in the rear view mirror not in the infotainment system, smaller objects will be harder to spot especially if you have poor eyesight

@@redacted7793 I'd say they are pretty much the same (17 or 18), in terms of comfort. In terms of practicality, if you are one of those who like their cars without any modifications, like me, having a 17-inch tire is easier on the pocket when it's time to replace them compared with my 18s.
I think Nissan focused more this time on the functionality of the truck and by doing so, driving comfort was a bit compromised as well as for some of the features from the old navarra. But over all, i believe Navarra is still the best in terms of driving comfort among the pick up truck lines and the new design is a whole lot better especially looking at the front grill. It would have been much better if instead of chrome, they should have painted it with Matt black, same with the pro 4x. WOuld you agree Sir Vince?

One thing i notice with car reviews is the lack of after-sales review. We can argue that it may differ on dealerships, but for the vehicle in general, why aren't reviewers providing that vital info to help buyers decide? Say the navara vs. ranger question. I've heard bad stories from ford ranger customers because of frequent issues, plus expensive maintenance costs. Good day sir Vince. I have been a subscriber to your youtube channel since last year or early this year. I know that you have a 2020 Nissan Navara VL 4x4 AT. You may be getting tired of this question, but I am planning to buy a pick-up, and my choices have been narrowed down to a Ranger Wildtrak or a Navara. Which do you prefer
Hi Jay-Ar. Don't worry, it's fine. Actually you already answered that question: I picked the Navara based on my circumstances. Your case may be different though. Ford may have a better deal, or you may prefer the Ford outright. Maybe even the location of the Ford dealer is closer to you. All these things factor in. So weigh it up. Most importantly: test drive both :)
@@vcpornelos thank you sir for taking the time to reply. One of my circumstances is that I go to my farm every weekend, meaning I ferry cargo going to and coming from the farm. pick the VE since the 2021 EL is dogsh*t compared to the older EL, it doesn't have a reverse camera that the VE has, 360 degree camera that the older EL variants have, the intelligent emergency breaking that the VE has, slower engine compared to the VE a/t and the VE 4x4 M/t, u lose the infotainment system, and the dual zone automatic climate control you also lose the LED headlights... so imo u should try to get the VE 4x2 M/T if you don't have enough money for the A/T the only difference between VE a/t and VE m/t 4x2 is the engine, the VE a/t 4x2 is equipped with better version of the 2.5L engine, while the VE m/t 4x2 is equipped with the same 2.5L engine the older navara's have
