Yes indeed TSA has ordered two and has one operating in Qld now. 2nd one on its way this week.
What is the advantage to this airplane and what is it specially designed for?
A very practical looking aircraft, that maybe could use a little better seats, especially for the passengers. Am I right?
I took a ride in one and I find seats pretty comfortable. Of course, they are nothing like some 1st class seats in a private jet or a jetliner. For it's intent they are pretty fine. It is not meant to be a luxury private plane, it's a workhorse. I'm prettty sure you could get better seats if you really wanted, but it would also be at extent of performance, capacity and space. Honestly, I've sat in worse seats on airliners.
@@fifi23o5 I was looking at the baggage compartment at the back of the plane 2:47 . Can this space be converted to a lavatory ? The volume looks quite generous there .
@@thesteammachine1282 I think it could be, at the price of baggage compatrment and weight. But in reality, this plane is not intended for long flights, so lack of toilet is not really an issue.
