@@JamericaLife The prices are truly an eyesore wide open experience and one of my grands lives with me and he’s 14 and growing so it is more cost effective for us to grow our own food. And yes lol all of my grandparents had in the ground gardens.
I found out that I like eggplant better than I like zucchini so I planted a lot of eggplants. I started out with two tomato plants now I have 10 because of the suckers and now I am growing more summer squash.
My husband and I never really cared for eggplant although a beautiful plant and veggie. We like squash but I have no luck with them. The humidity here is very damaging. Tiny worms on my tomato leaves so had to spray with BT. Frustrating to see something you've work so hard on being destroyed.

eggplants are my fave love baba ghanoush made from grilled eggplants with lots of lemon and tahini i agree they are beautiful
