You don‘t have to leave your tank anymore if you want to use the nuke, you can press 9 and spawn direct into the bomber without losing your tank, its also faster, you may won the last round with this methode.
They really need to put another SPAA at the BR4.0- 4.3. They moved the WW up to where the Ostwind I is at, so 2 at the same BR seems off.
At the end you didnt need to leave the aa to spawn the nuke, thats what that new button is for
It works similar to arcade where you leave your tank on the ground and spawn a plane

@@DOLLARplaysYes, it's just like Arcade - best to stash your vehicle behind cover in case your nuke is intercepted
@@DOLLARplaysIt's also to help get you in the nuke plane quicker. As was here the case, you lost precious time leaving your vehicle and then waiting for the countdown to spawn in the plane which cost you the game. The button allows you to instantly switch to the nuke plane when it becomes available saving you precious seconds at the risk of your ground vehicle being destroyed. I haven't had that happen yet so I don't know if you lose the nuke then as well.

It is kind of embarassing seeing how many players actually do that, even in my games its mostly SPAA that shoot at aircraft meanwhile all the other air are preoccupied with shooting ground targets
@@Gris00It's my biggest complaint about the game: Players don't do their (ingame) jobs! Fighters and SPAA shoot at tanks and tanks shoot at planes getting their attention! Because CAS has to actually care about enemy planes they sometimes attack enemy fighters, usually with the expected result. It's frustrating...
Maybe he was blind as me😅. I didn't see first PE-8 even though I was looking at the sky (not high enough)
even then, most AA's also go tank hunting. 9 / 10 of the time its just me and maybe 1 other person doing AA and the other AA and planes are shooting tanks@@Gris00
If I’m in a plane I’ll always go for enemy CAS unless I’m in a duck or something useless, or if it’s a nuke (I don’t like going for them unless my team is about to win)
Best content in the history of War Thunder. Fun game play, hilarious commentary, excellent editing and music choices, realistic deaths and situations, no camping and sniping and then immediately getting into CAS to bomb after dying. 75% of players could learn from your example. 99% of War Thunder UA-camrs could learn from your content. I really hope you make a living from this because you damn well deserve it.

The problem is not that planes can be spawned in ground battles. The problem is that you can spawn a plane with bombs and cannons **so damn cheaply, and so damn quickly** - There needs to be something like a 5-10 minute period at the start in which plane spawns are just locked out, and they need to be significantly increased in spawn costs.
Pretty good point honestly, either that or capping the amount of players that can spawn aircraft at a given time for each team.

Just raise the SP and 90% can't spawn anyways in planes , all you need is a cheap tank and rush a cap . You can spawn in a fully loaded P47 , it's just ridiculous .
another problem is you can just bomb enemy spawn and they can't do shit about it.
people saying "just spawn SPAA" have never played the game - you can see in this very video planes spawncamping and tons of SPAA unable to deal with them
If there will be less planes in game then there will be not much use for spaa, players just need to learn and appreciate spaa and that's what I learned from this video.

I recently made a video of how I'm the worst AA player in War Thunder, the fact dollar can shoot the plane AND the bomb it dropped, really drives this fact home XD.
20:13 you was able to use nuke with pressing 9 and it would let you spawn in nuke plane instantly that you would be able to nuke with that 10 seconds

Here’s the thing, the as hat in the plane is benefitting his team by forcing us into vehicles we will be overall less effective in, and having us looking up and not driving to cap. I am effectively out of the fight trying to deal with the plane and any others, assuming I get them I now have to hope I can kill whatever enemy is contesting caps
It’s more then just “git gud with SPAA” they waste time and whittle away peoples spawn points so quickly and it isn’t balanced at all

not a very good argument against CAS, you described a situation where your team is outnumbered and that is supposed to be a difficult situation by definition. This being a team game, if my team is retarded and dies too fast (as is too often the case) I can't really blame CAS for being OP.

I'm gonna go tangent for now so forgive me.
I see a lot of CAS hater in this comment section and as a person who's pretty neutral about CAS since this is a 'realistic vehicular military simulator',not 'Rambo but with vehicles simulator.'
Am i salty getting killed by 10km+ missiles out of nowhere? Yes but i accept it as one the flawed game design for this sort of 'realistic vehicular military simulator'.
Get GHPC or Squad if you desire to get away from CAS and want more freedom in the battlefield if you fancy Cold War and War On Terror stuff.
I also recommend Company of Heroes 1+Europe at War mod that will scratch your WWII tank-to-tank itch since said mod have a mode where you spawn in a tank and use them to fight AI or player in a pure tank-to-tank combat simulator where a single shot from a 75mm Sherman to Tiger I tank to its ass can disable or outright kill it.
IMO,ground RB need a separate PVE mode where new players can practice with their loadaouts minus the need to spawn into a plane.
I admit CAS is a problem but when a game present itself as 'realistic military simulator' then yes,even IRL CAS is an actual problem lol(see Ukraine War and how scared AFU are of Ka-52s with ist Vikhr missiles during their early counteroffensive last year that led to its failure later on).
What i propose would be some sort of AI AA weapon systems around the battlefield so that the CAS have to deal with those units first before being able to enter the battlefield with their CAS planes.Destroying those AI units should just give SL instead of RP to prevent AI farming.
Reduce revenge bombing and more time to react to said CAS by ground players if they see CAS players killing AI AA on their kill feed.
Or be a good Combat Air Patrol where you use your plane to get cheap heli and plane kills without resorting to air RB.
DOLLAR is by far THE BEST WT youtuber out there. everyone else cries and whines and are complete show-offs, like they are the best and coolest people out there. dollar ACTUALLY makes you want to play war thunder, where everyone else makes me want to uninstall the game. he is ironically the best for marketing the game. gaijin should be paying him!!!
The Kügelblitz only needs two things to be the best German WW2 SPAA, decreasing its BR to 6.7 and making its PzGr. H belt fully HVAP so bringing anti air belt would actually have a meaning

Wirbelwind used to have over 60mm pen with APCR rounds and it was my most used vehicle in german tree. This one looks promising, yet it is supposed to have over 90mm pen......kids would cry tho

Also! You don't need to destroy your vehicle if you get a nuke now. just park somewhere safe and get into the bomber. if you get shot down you can return to your tank.

I can never properly lead 20mm cannons. The distance always seems to be off and can't get the feel for it. 30mm? Absolutely zero problems but something about 20mm that seems off. Acing Skink was the biggest chore ever!
Taking out CAS spam is so satisfying. Gaijin needs to reward SPAA more. The amount of planes in GROUND RB is ridiculous.

I know this won't change the core problem of planes in GRB, but Gaijin, make AA more rewarding to play ! Cause it can be a hard work to protect your entire team and we are rewarded a bunch of peanuts ! (Idk like... give more points the more loaded the ennemy plane is...?)
For those of you still under the impression that the 'Zerstorer 45' is fake (because you saw someone on the internet say it wasn't real, so that must mean it's true and so you don't need to do any of your own research because everyone on the internet knows what they're talking about, right?) a total of 5 Zerstorer 45s (provisionally mounted on the Pz.IV 'Furniture Van') were completed between 1944-45 and were used by troops. The PLAN was to install the mounting on the Wirbelwind turret, but it's simpler to just mount the thing on an open platform rather than adapt a whole turret, so that's what happened. Neither version of the Zerstorer 45 is truly fake, because something's only fake if it's not genuine, but the Furniture Van version is the only one of the two that was built.
I don't get why this gets full HVAP belts but the kugelblitz does not? Additionally its a shame their pen was nerfed from 90mms to 77mm. Also dollar don't you have the coellian, if so why use ostwind 2?
all these new additions are cool and all...but can they pad out some of the other trees...like france ~10...or britain...9.0+...you know...trees with decent lower br numbers but 5 or 6 top tree options and huge jumps in br...or minimal variety...

they gave it the wrong name tho, "zerstörer 45" would have been the actual deisgn with the quad 30mm in the wirbelwind turret, this should have gotten a name like " 3cm Flakvierling auf Möbelwagen" or something like that

The problem i have with planes.
The AA makes not enough damage and the accuracy is very bad. Atleast till you can lock on to planes.

I just don’t see the point in this thing at 6.0 to be honest. More and more tanks are going to be beyond your ability to do anything but track or barrel break and without any form of shield even rifle caliber MG bursts turn your gun crew into chunky salsa.
Honestly Germany has an embarrassment of riches when it comes to SPAA and this thing doesn’t do anything new.

The apds report a value but in practice an apds that penetrates only 210mm at 2 kilometers is penetrating 300mm at 2 kilometers

Why did they make this thing shoot 4 shells at a time? Wouldn't it be better if the guns fired consecutively one after each other to ensure higher density of fire? I ve been playing this thing since patch and sometimes planes just fly straight through the "gaps" between my 4-shell shots when I continue to press LMB, is this intentional?

It's good that they add new unbalanced units for Germany as always! but there are more nations and the truth is I would like them to do something with the British! They are disgusting in BR 5.0 and in 8.3 days they are disgusting, and if only they would improve! the pairing! It was a success! since many nations have very broken units in medium and high BRs! and the churchills! Even if they have armor, they cannot withstand a panzer or an American 6.0 or 6.3 unit.

You know in GRB you can mark enemy planes so you can see where they are by using your enemy marking key. They will show up under ( ). And you can track them. And also see when enemy planes are on their way. When looking at them off screen they will pointed out by arrows to show where they are.
You don't need to j out for a nuke now. Just press 9. I actually got 2 ground kills after friendly aa shoot down my nuke but my tank was just standing near blind enemies.
