I was searching far and wide for a video like this lol couldn’t find anyone but you who actually focused on the screws for the Extruder. This small mishap set me back 2hrs! Thank you for being detailed!
MAGNIFICIENT - im printing now a 'test dog' for my first time EVER on the same A20 M Geeetech machine and i cant stop looking under the noozle... it has some magic within or it hipnotized me :P I wasn't sure if it will work properly from first shot, but now i see that it is much easier than i thought before. thanks for quick setup tutorial, good job.
Best thing about Geeetech (at least via amazon) is their customer service. I got an A10 a while back and had so many issues with it I had to send it back but it was already 6 months into ownership. They accepted it just fine and gave me a refund. So if you get a dud from them, which I can understand happens with these cheap printers, you can at least trust them in terms of the service.
I finally got my A20M tuned up....I am quite impressed. The color mixing works great, but it is also a quality single color printer. The two-color dog came out nicely. A 157mm tall toy soldier ( tall, skinny) looks good. A White House model ( short, wide) did not do so well on the columns and over hangs, but the model is solid, no layer lines. I was bummed that it initially knocked models off of the bed, but taping the metal platform gave enough adhesion to avoid head crashes. I would give it a 96. My Sovol single-color rates 93. My Creality CP01 and CR 10 get 45’s.
I have one, the problem in the extruders they don't last long, I replaced them with the aluminum ones and used the bearings of the old ones into the new extruders and work perfect
I have the A10M, which is almost the same printer. As also shown in the video it is almost impossible to avoid bleeding from one color to the other, no matter how big you make the prime tower. I think however that some of the blame has to be put on Cura, because the prime tower is designed badly, at least for a printer like these. I don’t understand why the prime tower has both colors in each layer. I would think it should only have one color. If there are both colors (lets say black and white) in two consecutive layers, and it starts the first layer with black going to white, the prime tower should only be white for that layer. The next layer of the model would continue in white and shift to black, so the layer in the prime tower should only be black. But the Cura prime tower will have both colors in eavh layer of the prime tower, which means that one color is not sufficiently purged.
Still no side extrusions for support underneath. So top gantry is supported only by 1 extrusion and the sheet metal. Tsk. When I got my A20M..it had the first series.nozzles. Unprintable. Geeetech sent replacement but then board died..replaced that..but due to too much flex...I sold it. Maybe next time Geeetech
I have a question something mine did very weird I left it printing overnight and in the morning it didn’t finished it was halfway but it was pause, the screen said “TOOCOLD” i could click resume so it wasn’t stopped only ‘paused’ After i heated up the hot end and bed it gave me temperature error printer halted reset printer Why did it cool down mid way print? All my settings are set up in cura for 210 start mid and finishing temperature on both extruder settings
So the 3D printer is hmm good but has issues. I think the only true use is if I had say Geeetech A30T Three-Colors Printing and some way to recycle the waste filament.
Hi, I'm new in this but I have an enourmes interest in 3d printing, I do have a question for you guys, how long it takes to print a piece the size of the frog with this machine? thanks in advence everyone!!
Didn't the "level corners" appear after you auto homed the printer? Looks like it does have a bed level feature. Look at timestamp 26:00 and compare it to 26:43 after you have auto homed.
I am confused on how to get sweeten parts of the model a one cooler like assigning a a color or extruded or something and I also do not know how to make something merge like the frog pls help I hav a a20m
Which version do you have? Do you have the one with the 5 pins in a horizontal position, or do you have the one where the pins are in two columns one with two pins and one with three? They're on the back of the hot end carriage
Shame that the fillament mixing isn't so great. it would have been interesting if the slicer could use it for monotone gradients from a model's texture or something.
I wonder if it could be mechanically possible to rotate the nozzle some way, so the two fillaments twist up inside while printing. Even if it's not a mix, it would be more even.

Vlad has me covered on a no nonsense review, thanks dude

Thank you for the detailed instructions. This video helped me decide on printer to buy. I will come back to it when I receive my printer.
Thanks for the detailed assembly/review!
Thank you. Nice video. Very instructive. I ordered this printer and watched your video waiting it to arrive!
I hope you were kidding about the squirrel and turtle. LMAO!! Thx for the review!

@@JustVlads Squirtle is a pokemon. Awesome video, thanks!
Great step-by-step video. I just ordered one of these. Thanks for the help!!
I linked this video in a description of my print mail video, you do a great job on assembly.
Looks pretty cool how it prints with the two nozzles
But I wish it had a bigger build volume

Great video... very detailed and helpful!👍
Thanks. Amazing Prints. I like that vase
Geetech is watching
Learned a lot thanks already have one :) It’s a nice printer
Ty
Just noticed you say "here" a lot lol. Great vid 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Drives me crazy tbh
I would put one spool facing forward and one facing back to equal out the off-centre
wont work based on the extruder orientation and colision danger with the printhead
Awesome man!
thank you for your great video...you can upload cura settings and profile
absolutely amazing review it helped a lot
THANK YOU SO SO MUCH!!!!!

42:50 (Not an expert) a square prime Tower may be quicker to print, than circles so save a bit of time over all
26.45 instead of "Disable steppers" u have a second option "Level corners"
Picture of where spools go on both Amazon and Bang Good
I got one how do I print the different objects am so lost
any pros or cons wit this printer ?
do u like this printer at all ?

Can soluble support filament be used with this printer?
Do you still recommend this? Is it possible to even buy anymore? Nothing on Amazon and overseas dealers have crazy shipping prices.
So the 3D printer is hmm good but has issues. I think the only true use is if I had say Geeetech A30T Three-Colors Printing and some way to recycle the waste filament.

You have to do "Auto home" first then it'll appear the "Level corners" option
Do I download the prints to the sim

Why not print inside the prime tower? Nobody see, no wasted filament, time.
bcs it wont work
may be you know, how to connect 3d touch to this printer?..

Could you please find out how the firmware of the Geeetech A30T can be upgraded to the Marlin 2.x
30:40 How to load the 2nd filament? there is a change filament menu but only 1 extruder works. + In About printer menu it says Extruder: 1.
Sorry, where i can found the script about Start g-code and End G-code at 36 minut in this video?
how to get STL and VRML objects converted to .gcode that geeetech uses?
How much is that doggy in the window?
it sticks way to much to the bed
my printerisnt printing the filament is not getting extractet :( i did everything as the video
I have the same problem. Did you figure out how to fix it?

Too fast...
Sad to see, it's a copy of a CR-X but, 2x smaller
getech got a dual color printer, m201, which was much prior to cr-x
I had an A10M. Threw it in the trash. Geetech makes junk!
i am having a hell of a time with mine... ive spent weekends and still cant get the damn thing to print a block
@@Theladysman881 mine worked fin till the temp sensor died. I think 2 months printing non stop was too much for it hahahaha
