It just get better great video as usual...It's the sport that counts at the end of the day and being out in the sea air. That's the beauty of sea fishing not being quite sure just what got hooked up ! Great to see prime bass going back too conservation and fish welfare so important to our future sport...and those to follow in our footsteps in years to come. A sportsman and ambassador to the sport keep the camera rolling. Look forward to the next episode. Tight Lines.
Hi John, great to hear from you again, and once again, thanks for taking the time to leave us some kind comments! :-) You are 100% correct with what you say, it's all about getting out there and giving it a go, you can't beat the sea air and fishing into the unknown... you never know what's gonna take your bait next! Hope your fishing is going well?
Brilliant video and well made. You two should make more beach fishing vids together. Put in more tips and tricks of the trade. Recipe for success! Tight lines, lads!
Really enjoying your videos on beach fishing, the smoothhound looks very similar to the Gummy Shark that we catch here in South Australia. My biggest so far is 1.1 meters but have seen pictures of fish around 2 meters off of deep sea charter boats.
pclion215 . Ah glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for taking the time to comment too, especially all the way over in Australia!!! That's quite amazing! I have heard before that our Smooth Hound is like a 'Gummy Shark', guess they are called that because of there lack of teeth! 1.1m is a nice fish too!!! We have recently been out in a boat fishing for them, I'm editing the video as we speak, we landed some real monsters, so be sure to keep an eye out for it! We had them to 20lb, there's some pics on our Facebook page too. Once again, thanks for the kind comments and for taking the time to write to us :-) Tight lines, cheers Chris.
inflatable boat Show thanks mate, glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for taking the time to comment too! Good luck with your Smooth Hound quest I hope you manage to get amongst a few!! Let us know how you get on :-) Be lucky and tight lines.
Ah thanks +Gary Shears glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for taking the time to comment! Hope your fishing is going well, tight lines, cheers Chris.
Hi mate i go beaching fishing on the south coast when im not fishing or working im watching your videos and picking up some great tips i only use the pennel rig i think its the best one for shore . Could you do some more videos fishing from the beach please . The videos ive watched youve got some great beaches around with good sized fish . Keep up the great videos
Hi adam craig glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for taking the time to comment, it's always nice to hear some feedback, especially positive stuff! :-) The Pennel is my favourite rig too, the perfect big fish! We will have some new sea fishing video's in the coming weeks, in-fact fingers crossed we should be back out tomorrow in pursuit of Cod! I'm just hoping the fish play ball!! Haha! Tight lines and good luck with your fishing! Cheers Chris :-)
From The Waters Edge TV Haha am sure there be about i think its being in the right place at the right time . im heading out myself today hoping for a cod or 2 . Il be looking forward to the video and seeing the big cod ya catch :) . Tight lines mate

Hi ADzstat Trowbridge thanks for the kind comments and for taking the time to post them, glad you enjoyed the video! :-) Big Bass, Rays and Hounds sounds right up my street!!! I'd love that. :-) Thanks again and good luck with your fishing... Roll on Spring/May! ;-) Hounds all round!
Smashing pair of lads and some beautiful bass. The bigger ones certainly seem to come alive at night, don't they. I'll have to remember that secret bait trick when I want bass - set up for smoothies!
Hi 657BIueArmy first of all thanks for the kind comments and for taking the time to post them! :-) Secondly glad you enjoyed the video and finally… Haha… that certainly is a good trick for most species!!! ;-) To be fair Bass aren't a bad substitute! Haha. Cheers Chris
Great vid guys , loving the northern hemisphere fishing footage. Im also loving the idea of using a bait needle for prepping the crabs which is more than likely unheard of here but it looks a damn sight easier than we would normally do it. I am about to change my crab rigging ways , thanks :)
Hi ***** thanks for the kind comments and for taking the time to post them! There's lots of different ways of baiting up with Crab, but this way works nicely for me, it also means I have can have a few baits prepared and ready to go! Hope you've been catching a few, tight lines, cheers Chris.
Well at least this time you never lost your bait. Great Bass you both caught and tips as always. Look forward to the next part and good luck with your fishing. Have a thumbs up
Hi Alan, thank you for the kind comments and for taking the time to write them! Glad you enjoyed the video, hopefully the next part will be filled with Smooth Hound! :-) Good luck with your fishing too and of course tight lines! P.S Thanks for the 'thumbs up' and 'like' :-)
Another great video, good job you had Jack with you to show you how to catch!!! lol. Keep them coming Chris I really enjoy your videos, head and shoulders above some of the mainstream T.v. Fishing programme's. Great work.
Hi Michael Kibbin thank you for the kind comments and for taking the time to post them. :-) Glad you enjoyed the video too. Haha… Jack is a very good angler and loves his sea fishing too, fingers crossed we'll get out with him many more times this Spring! He definitely showed me how to do it in this episode!!
Great video mate,I'm up in Norfolk at the end of August hopefully be some smoothhound around still, I use the over head cast most of the time with multi's and do most of my smoothhound fishing late evening down in kent as don't need big cast's and night fishing is best for them.
Nice one Karl Tunbridge I'll have my fingers crossed for you that you catch a few fish when your up this way!! There's been a lot of weed about recently, but if you can find small windows in the tide when the weed isn't as bad, there's been a few fish. Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks once again. :-) Tight lines, cheers Chris.
Thanks mate, it was, we always try and have fun, evening if the fishing isn't very good! We were lucky in this session as we had the best of both worlds! :-) Good luck on your quest for a Hound, this years been a little quiet for me, but I'm hoping to bag a few in the coming weeks!
Hi Darrell Mayson glad you enjoyed the video and thank you for the kind comments, it makes it all worth while. Hope your fishing is going well, be lucky and of course tight lines! Cheers Chris.
fantastic bass fishing ...been great to see a smoothound , but with bass like that coming out who cares well done Chris for another great vlog. .........jules
Thanks for the kind comments Jules, glad you enjoyed the video. Fingers crossed we'll be into some Smoothound before the summers out! :-) Hope your fishing is going well, cheers Chris.
Great Bass session Chris, how about doing a session on Smooth Hounds :) LOL I take it you also got a new bait bucket and kept it out of Steves reach :)
Ah thanks Peter, glad you enjoyed the video's and thank you for the kind words! :-) I'd love to visit Ireland and do some fishing, perhaps one day me and Steve will bring the camera's over and give it a try! :-)
Thanks for the kind comments greenogue10 and for taking the time to post. Glad you enjoyed the video! And don't worry we have lots more to come!! ;-) Tight lines and be lucky, cheers Chris.
nice vid a video suggestion1: in you back garden do a video with your box showing all essential equipment for young anglers. video suggestion 2: ask the guy in your local tackle shop to interview him talking about best baits, common hooks and more. henri
Hi Henri, thanks for the comments! :-) They sould like a couple of good idea's, I'll have a word with Steve and see if we can get something sorted. Guess they'd be good to film on a day when the fish aren't biting! :-)
Excellent session lads and some nice fish. Just wondering, do yous always fish from the rod rest. Up here in the north east England, the top anglers only use the rest to bait up from when not match fishing. They cast out, stay right at the waters edge and hold their rod vertical in anticipation of that first bite, then reel down into a strike position. To me, this is the best part of fishing, and those who fish from the rest are missing out on that excitement.
Thanks for the kind comments mate and for taking the time to post them - glad you enjoyed the video! I have seen pictures of the anglers up north, holding the rod! I think it could be because our fishing is so poor around our coastline that you could get cramp holding the rod for the huge periods of inactivity! :-D Hope you've been catching a few fish, tight lines, cheers Chris.
Hi kanchour16 glad you enjoyed the video and thank you for taking the time out to comment its very much appreciated. I like to explain what I'm doing, not because I think I'm an expert, but because I think odd bits and pieces may help the newcomer, or junior angler! Thanks once again and good luck with your fishing, tight lines, cheers Chris! :-)
Hi Chris, as you know we don't have many places in suffolk for smoothound fishing from the beach so we have to come up your way , so advice please never fished any Norfolk beaches but I have heard trimmingham or mundersy beaches our good for smoothounds and advice appreciated sorry if I've spelt the places wrong .......great video by the way again mate ........
Hi Julian Hughes thanks for the kind comments, glad you enjoyed the video! :-) Smoothound can be caught off many different beaches from around April/May through until around July/August. (Well these are the peak months etc) Trimmingham, Mundsley and pretty much any beach from north of Walcott tend to be my favourites. Hope that helps a little. Tight lines, cheers Chris.
Ty Chris , I shall make the effort to get upto north Norfolk for a couple of trips , do they seem to come in on the spring tides mate , thx for the great advice Chris really appreciate it ...............jules
Julian Hughes ive fished pakefield a few times in the last month Julian and I have had a few smoothounds and bullhuss not the biggest of fish granted but worth a try if you are south of great Yarmouth and you only need to cast 40 - 60 yards :)
... well soon be getting back into my sea fishing when we move back down to Devon. Cracking video. Proper red letter day. Interested in the tackle you were both using. Is there any chance off a video. Or could you tell me what rods you were both using . Tia
Thanks for the kind comments mate, glad you enjoyed the video! :-) If you click the tackle box link in the description of our video's you'll see most of what we use. But that's a nice idea for a video... leave it with me! Cheers Chris.
Hi Chris, Another cracking video and some lovely bass as well. Well done to the both of you. On another tack, where did you get the harness for your Shakespeare box, it looks pukka! Keep up the good work Guys. Cheers Paul
Thanks Lucan, glad you enjoyed the video and thank you for taking the time to comment, it's always nice to hear some feedback, especially positive stuff! :-) The harness for the box is a Breakaway Back Rest Conversion, it's an absolute life saver on long walks!!! And doubles up as a nice back rest! I simply had enough of straps cutting into my shoulder! Hope that helps. There's also a tackle list in the video description, you can see a little more information and the products there :-)
Hi Philip Cutler thanks for the kind comments, glad you enjoy the video's! :-) Ummm we haven't done at the moment, however it might be something we will do during the winter months and on some of the days when we can't fish and film etc :-)
Guys great video, love watching you fish, loads of questions for you hope you don't mind, myself and the wife are seriously thinking about taking up sea fishing after 30 odd years of carp fishing, we live near Brighton/hove/shoreham, the first one is do you have to cast far to catch fish, second is there any restrictions on any beaches, third the wife loves bass were they take home size, and fourth is there a best time of year or can it be good at all times, once again great video cheers guys Steve and Michelle
Thanks for the kind comments Steve, glad you enjoyed the video! :-) Having the ability to cast reasonably well can help, especially if there's a strong breeze and a rough sea, some of the time it doesn't matter tho. A place near us - Orford island, has incredibly deep water close in and often you can cast too far, as the fish are relatively close in. I don't know about restrictions, each beach would probably vary - in general there doesn't tend to be though. I think legal size limit for Bass is around 45cm, however there's quite a few restrictions on them to protect the species - best bet is too pop a search in on Google, that should explain all the rules and regulations. Bass can be caught all year round from certain area's, however they are more consider a spring/summer fish. Hope that helps. Tight lines, cheers Chris.
Great vid Unlucky on no smuts but who cares when the bass are feeding!. i can still remember my first hound from burntwood on the isle of wight massive bite and 2 runs of over 20 mtr's of line gone end result 15lb 2oz hound priceless moment keep up the good work :-)
Thanks Nick, glad you enjoyed the video. 15lb 2oz... What a fish mate! They are very memorable, I'll always remember my first Hound too, not as big as that, but it certainly pulled back! They are special fish for us shore anglers.
Hi Matty, thanks for the kind comments and glad you enjoyed the video! :-) Haha... I know mate, I think if we hadn't lost the crab last time we could have enjoyed a similar session! We'll keep making the video's have lots more to come ;-)
When you fish trimmingham try going down a 'private' road named vale road at the end of trimmingham/start of mundesley. Just follow the road and there is a very quiet beach only really known by anglers and dog walkers.
A tip for you guys as you are obviously carp anglers, fish during the day for the Smooth-hounds. They are sight feeders and feed hardest during the hottest part of the day.
Hi nemesisslr I'm not a Carp angler, I'm a sea fisherman, however I used to do lots and lots of Carp/coarse fishing when I was younger. I don't necessarily agree with you, but each and everyone to there own! I've had most of my best catches during the evening/night tides. Fish often venture closer to shore and feed harder under the cover of darkness. Also in most of the fishing on our coast the water is far too coloured to see - the fish feed on smell. Interesing debate though and food for thought! :-)
Sorry did not mean to offend but the way you cast is not the best way to get distance with a multiplier. I have fished for Smooth-Hounds for around 10 years now and even in filthy water around the Bristol Channel, they feed hardest during daylight. I looked up the temperature and date of my best catches and most fall on the hottest days. I find after dark the silver spiky sea rats come out and feed hard down on my coast.
Hi nemesisslr I didn't find it offensive, everyone is entitled to there own opinion. I understand about casting too, a standard 'overhead thump' of course isn't the best way. I'd be far better to pendulum cast, off the ground cast or perhaps even back cast, all of these styles would help me achieve greater distances. I need to have some proper lessons really, as that's one area of my fishing that definetely needs improving! Cheers
Hi MeanMclean thanks for the kind comments, glad you enjoyed the video! Haha... don't worry we'll carry on making them in 2015! Happy new year to you, be lucky and tight lines. Cheers Chris.
Some great fishing there lads. Shame you didnt catch any smuts. There's always next time! Smuts and dogs tend to be on shallower waters so maybe they were there, but you were casting to far out? Just a theory :) Anyway great video lads keep it up and tight lines!!!
Thanks for the kind comments mate, glad you enjoyed the video. :-) The water on that particular beach is pretty shallow, I think it was just a case of the hounds not turning up on this particular occasion... normally it's the curse of the camera! Haha.
Really enjoyed the video mate, i do enjoy all of them. any chance you could tell me what those shimano alivio ax rods your mate is using are like? cheers mate. tight lines.
Glad you enjoyed the video +w1ckaman89 and thanks for taking the time to comment. :-) Jack was using the Alivio rods and I believe he really likes them, he's had some nice Bass and Smoothound on them throughout the years too! They aren't too stiff that you can't cast them, they are just a nice general all-round sea fishing rod at a reasonable price. Cheers Chris.
Hi Rexicallity glad you enjoyed the video and thank you for taking the time to comment. If you look in the video description there's a link in there called 'Tackle Lists' if you click that you'll be able to see all the tackle used in the video. I think Jack's reels with the Shimano Aerlexs or something! Hope that helps. Cheers Chris.
Enjoyed the videos, really nice to see you returning the fish,, however i do find keeping the fish out of water for longer periods than necessary, purely for the camera spoils the overall enjoyment. Those fish have given you some good sport so keeping the stress levels down is quite important for a full recovery. There will be a lot of young anglers watching this, and as roll models, they will be looking to you for good practice. Thanks for taking the time to produce these videos.
No worries at all mate, glad you enjoyed the video! If you click the tackle box link in the video description all the details are there. Unfortunately I think it's possible some of the items might have been discontinued now... this video is a few years old!
Ive just seen how much juice you have lost wiping the elastic on fresh crab, would it be better on frozen crab, I think so. But still a good vid. Good tips. Want to see more.
Thanks Rick, glad you enjoyed the video. Frozen catches fish, however fresh is better in my opinion... I know sometimes you loose a bit of juice, in the excitement to get another bait out there I probably whipped it on a little tight! Haha. Hope your fishing is going well. Tight lines, cheers Chris.
Cheers +Johnski Boy it can be snaggy sometimes, but beaches/areas change all the time. I prefer to fish the ebb tide to the bottom and then an hour or two up.
Thanks for the kind comments Drew, glad you enjoyed it and found it useful. To be completely honest... I buy my rigs ready made... I can build them, but struggle for time with everything going on (normal life, work, filming, fishing and editing!) Haha. Hope you've been catching a few. Cheers Chris.
Nice one mate! I'm not familiar with Chesil, we live in Norfolk so a few miles away! Haha. Best bet would be to look on one of the sea fishing forums or pop into a local tackle shop, there'd be able to advise you better. Cheers Chris.
Hey guys i am new to seafishing "want to start". Do i need a licence for a sea fishng. And what do u thing about skegness beach fishing is it a nice place to fish ?
Hi Maksims Doksvels You don't need a licence to sea fish, however there may be odd occasions where you need a permit, but this really only applies to piers or breakwaters. You should be fine on any beach, unless signs say other wise! :-) Unfortunately I'm not very local to Skegness, but I think it's meant to be quite a good area! I would recommend visiting a site called - World Of Sea Fishing - there are forums on there for each area of the country and I'm sure some people would be able to help you out! Be lucky and tight lines! Cheers Chris
Omg u replied yay wen ever I go sea fishing all I catch is bass with some rag worms but I don't hold them because of there spines can u do a vid on how to hold a bass with out being stabbed thanks
We always try and reply Bradley! In this video you can see how we handle the Bass. The best way is either under the gills, however be careful not to damage the fish, or in the mouth. They don't have teeth, so if you get a nice firm grip you can hold them like that. As I said, you can see how we do it in this video.
Thanks Graham Murray glad you enjoyed the videos and thanks for taking the time to comment! Fingers crossed we should be out this weekend filming the next part, I can't wait!!! Cheers Chris
Fished frinton two weeks ago me and me mate had two small codling so they are in. that was a midnight tide full moon! of to orford this Sunday for first time gonna give them short pennels ago 😉 can't wait I think I should say thanks aswell watching your vids gave me the buzz to get out there so cheers and tight lines!!
Finished my first session on orford! What a place lots of codling about between 1 and 2 pounds still early tho I suppose! Short pens worked well for me lots of dogs aswell!!!
Thanks Jan, glad you enjoyed the video, thank you for taking the time to comment too! :-) Ahhhh I know, I'm desperate to get out again!!! The fishing is a little quiet here at the moment and I've been struggling a bit for time really! We will hopefully get out again very soon though!
Jonathon Roberts, Get a grip, You go on and on and on and on about taking one for the pot ( why why why don't these guys take one for the pot?) Because they chose not to as you choose to do so, both ideals are ok, But what i get from your "Whining" posts is that your actually ramming that they/we should take one for the pot. On occasions i take flatties, Whiting, cod and bass for the pot, on other days i put everything back, my choice, get that word "Choice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As i said, get a grip and if you don't like the vids then don't watch them and keep your pushy aggressive ideals to yourself. Anyhow, Great vid guys love all the ones you've done so far, good anglers using average gear we can all afford with no product plugging and a pleasure to chill out and watch when i can't get to the beach. Hope there will be another beach fishing vid out soon Chris. Kind regards guys AF
Thanks for the kind comments AF and for taking the time to post them, glad you are enjoying the video's. :-) I know what you are saying, it's all down to choice... I have no issues with taking fish, sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. Anyway, fingers crossed we should have some more sea fishing video's on the way soon! Hope you're fishing is going well. Tight lines, cheers Chris.
FootBallSkills HD I have hair!! People like you spoil the internet. Thanks for the abusive comments, my 8 year old brought your comments to my attention. Thanks for her being subjected to such words.
Gummy sharks from perfectly flat water? Is that only what they're like in the UK, or have everything I've looked at lies? Over here I've never heard of a gummy shark caught in no swell
Hi Mark, I believe Jack was using the Shimano Aerlex Surf Reel. If you click the tackle box link in the video description you'll see a full list of what we were using :-) Cheers Chris.
hey i live 10 mins from sea is there such thing as a sea with no fish loool i never get any fish like i dnt care what fish just want one lol i use rag only as only thing i can get round here im in the south east ireland im 17 and love fishing

Great upload lads, thanks for creating it for us to watch.

what line would you recommend for the actual rig when fishing for smoothounds?
Really good guys I went fishing last night and caught a 20pound cod in Harrington (Workington) competition
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed it! Wow, thats a mega fish - surely you won the competition with that! :-D
Terrific vid. Wonderful camera work, good banter & great fish! Inspiring stuff for a newbie ;)
Hi Darrell Mayson glad you enjoyed the video and thank you for the kind comments, it makes it all worth while. Hope your fishing is going well, be lucky and of course tight lines! Cheers Chris.

Cracking episode guys well done
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for taking the time to comment.
Great video guys, the half hour flew by. I'm certainly going to try crab next time I'm out. I always use Rag but I'm inspired by your video, cheers!
Cheers mikestrange28 glad you enjoyed it and thanks for taking the time to comment :-)
Quality video mate and good catches. Helpful stuff for beginners like me thanks
Thanks Chris Moore glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for taking the time to comment! :-)
Great Bass session Chris, how about doing a session on Smooth Hounds :) LOL
I take it you also got a new bait bucket and kept it out of Steves reach :)
Thanks Simon! Haha, the bait bucket was kept well and truly out of Steve's reach!!! Haha! Fingers crossed there'll be some Smooth Hound in Part II ;-)
Brilliant video, guys. Well done.
Thanks Paddy, glad you enjoyed it. :-)
Thank's for all your help and tips Chris i live in the west of ireland come here and do a show...........thank's................pete.
Ah thanks Peter, glad you enjoyed the video's and thank you for the kind words! :-) I'd love to visit Ireland and do some fishing, perhaps one day me and Steve will bring the camera's over and give it a try! :-)
really enjoyed that video, please keep them coming,
Thanks for the kind comments greenogue10 and for taking the time to post. Glad you enjoyed the video! And don't worry we have lots more to come!! ;-) Tight lines and be lucky, cheers Chris.
Cracking session lads, not a lot more I can say!
Thanks Joe!
great video i really enjoyed it
thanks very much
kevin still learning howtofish
kevin little Thanks for the kind comments, glad you enjoyed it! :-)
Cracks me up as in my part of the world dogfish are a throw away fish, we leave areas when they come in force. Like the seabass though. Tight lines.
It is strange how different species are thought of! Tight lines to you too mate. 😌🎣
nice vid a video suggestion1: in you back garden do a video with your box showing all
essential equipment for young anglers. video suggestion 2: ask the guy in your local tackle shop to interview him talking about best baits, common hooks and more.
henri
Hi Henri, thanks for the comments! :-) They sould like a couple of good idea's, I'll have a word with Steve and see if we can get something sorted. Guess they'd be good to film on a day when the fish aren't biting! :-)
thanks
:-D Hope you've been catching a few fish, tight lines, cheers Chris.
nice video as usual, nice showing and nice bait & rigs presentation and top off that the good talking really appreciate the video well done.
Great vid keep them coming on sea fishing
Thanks Ricky, glad you enjoyed it! We are completing part II very soon. :-)
excellent enjoyable video .more beach vids please
Thanks for the kind comments john wrasse you'll be pleased to hear we have another beach fishing video coming tomorrow eve! A spot of Sole fishing :-)
Hi Chris,
Another cracking video and some lovely bass as well.
There's also a tackle list in the video description, you can see a little more information and the products there :-)
From The Waters Edge TV Cheers Chris
Could watch your videos all day! Being a relative beginner have you done any which show how to make rigs in more detail?
Hi Philip Cutler thanks for the kind comments, glad you enjoy the video's! :-) Ummm we haven't done at the moment, however it might be something we will do during the winter months and on some of the days when we can't fish and film etc :-)
Great I'll look forward to it. In the mean time I'll keep trying to understand book illustrations and entertain myself during the cold winter nights!!
Awsome result for yas both nice to see u not loseing ur crab this time lol good video mate tight lines keep them videos popin up
Hi Matty, thanks for the kind comments and glad you enjoyed the video! :-) Haha... I know mate, I think if we hadn't lost the crab last time we could have enjoyed a similar session! We'll keep making the video's have lots more to come ;-)
I take it steve wasnt in charge of the buckets again? :-) great vid again lads, learnt so much from your videos. top job
Haha! No Mark, he wasn't, we kept him well away from it! Haha! Thanks for the kind comments and glad to hear you are enjoying the videos :-)
When you fish trimmingham try going down a 'private' road named vale road at the end of trimmingham/start of mundesley. Just follow the road and there is a very quiet beach only really known by anglers and dog walkers.
Hi Swimboymolloy yeah I have fished Vale Road a lot through the year, cracking bit of beach and probably one of my favs! :-)
And now also known by at least 31,326 subscribers :)
You boys ever fish Hillhead wall south coast?
We haven't mate, it's quite a trek for us! We hope to get a bit further afield once the lockdown is lifted though.
1st vid Ive seen of yours lads. Enjoyed the vid. Subbed.
Thanks for the kind comments mate and for the sub! :-) Should have some more uploads coming very soon!
I swear after you realised those bass just before the video cut i heard a crack, sounded like a wooden stump hitting a hard bone!! ^^
Really! +ifell3 What minute of the video are you talking about? Perhaps Steve fell over or something and banged his arm on some driftwood!
I'm joking mate!!
Cheers
Great video lads.. Hurry up with some new ones and have a great 2015!
Hi MeanMclean thanks for the kind comments, glad you enjoyed the video! Haha... don't worry we'll carry on making them in 2015! Happy new year to you, be lucky and tight lines. Cheers Chris.
you've made my day by replying! tight lines
Haha.
Amazing video n fish, hope u get better.
Cheers jayden ting glad you enjoyed it! :-)
Thanks for taking the time to reply mate, think im gonna grab myself two since there on sale. Cheers.
Hurry up Colz and make a new episode, me and Flatty cant wait!!!!!!
Haha, marc williams we have a new episode coming tomorrow!
class mate
Great bass lads nice to see,
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed the video!
Hi, great vid as per. Just wondering what set-up Jack was using. Reel especially?
Thanks +mersc1 your feedback is much appreciated.
love it mate so many bass
Thanks Billy, it was a Bass-Tastic session! :-)
ye mate bass tastic
Hi, can you please tell me what shimano rod and reel your friend is using thank you for the great video and all tips to be successful FisherMan 🎣
No worries at all mate, glad you enjoyed the video! If you click the tackle box link in the video description all the details are there. Unfortunately I think it's possible some of the items might have been discontinued now... this video is a few years old!
hello mate love the vids . i live in cromer where would you recommend close to me for a beginner .
Weybourne is a good bet Ian! Easy access, big car park and deep water close in so there's no need for distance casting.
Tight lines, cheers Chris.
cracking vid as always lads, love the Titan smock, are these still available anywhere?
Thanks Pete, glad you enjoyed the video! :-) Ummmm I'm not too sure on the Titan Smocks, I'm not sure if they're still going or not!
Is it snaggy there??? when I have fished that venue i have lost a lot of tackle. Is it best there at low or high tide???. Great video
Cheers +Johnski Boy it can be snaggy sometimes, but beaches/areas change all the time. I prefer to fish the ebb tide to the bottom and then an hour or two up.
Cracking stuff boys, good quality educational videos. Do you buy you pulley rigs in bulk or make them up yourselves?
Thanks for the kind comments Drew, glad you enjoyed it and found it useful. To be completely honest... I buy my rigs ready made... I can build them, but struggle for time with everything going on (normal life, work, filming, fishing and editing!) Haha. Hope you've been catching a few. Cheers Chris.
Is the location Trimingham?
excellent video,thank you very much.
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for taking the time to leave us some feedback too, it's much appreciated :-)
Very enjoyable lads.good TV :)
Cheers Andy, thanks for the kind comments.
Nice session guys, which location is this?
Thanks mate, this is on the North Norfolk coast.
great vid...
Thanks Jo!
Brilliant video, top angling
Cheers Ryan, glad you enjoyed it and thanks for taking the time to comment.
Heading up to Chesil beach for the weekend, any tips on best bait to use at the moment and rig?
Nice one mate! I'm not familiar with Chesil, we live in Norfolk so a few miles away! Haha. Best bet would be to look on one of the sea fishing forums or pop into a local tackle shop, there'd be able to advise you better. Cheers Chris.
ah ok thanks anyway :) had a couple smallish hounds nothing too special but enjoyed the trip
brilliant fishing
Thanks +pete26671
great video lads very informative?really great stuff?
Thanks for the kind comments Michael, glad you enjoyed it!
my favourite video of yours
Cheers Damion, it was a good session!
When I fish in Ireland, I'm looking for Bass, and always get large smoothhound! Lol
Haha! :-D
cracking vid mate
Thanks Helen! :-)
great video man
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for taking the time to comment also! :-)
Is that location the grass area on the left before vale Road
No Sam, I think I know where you mean though. I'm not sure if there is access at the grass location or not... I've not been to look to be honest!
Great video :) keep up the good work
Thanks Conar Miles glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for taking the time to comment! :-)
Nice one lads
Cheers Mark! :-)
Love the vids
Thanks Bradley! :-)
Ok thanks
Great vid lads!!! when we gonna get a new cod quest??
Thanks Graham Murray glad you enjoyed the videos and thanks for taking the time to comment! Fingers crossed we should be out this weekend filming the next part, I can't wait!!! Cheers Chris
Fished frinton two weeks ago me and me mate had two small codling so they are in. that was a midnight tide full moon! of to orford this Sunday for first time gonna give them short pennels ago 😉 can't wait
I think I should say thanks aswell watching your vids gave me the buzz to get out there so cheers and tight lines!!
Great stuff Graham Murray keep going and I'm sure you'll get results! Good luck with your fishing, let us know how you get on! :-)
Finished my first session on orford! What a place lots of codling about between 1 and 2 pounds still early tho I suppose! Short pens worked well for me lots of dogs aswell!!!
Great viewing, now find those hounds lol!!!
Jonathon Roberts,
Get a grip,
You go on and on and on and on about taking one for the pot ( why why why don't these guys take one for the pot?)
Because they chose not to as you choose to do so, both ideals are ok,
But what i get from your "Whining" posts is that your actually ramming that they/we should take one for the pot.
Anyhow,
Great vid guys love all the ones you've done so far, good anglers using average gear we can all afford with no product plugging and a pleasure to chill out and watch when i can't get to the beach.
Hope there will be another beach fishing vid out soon Chris.
Kind regards guys
AF
Thanks for the kind comments AF and for taking the time to post them, glad you are enjoying the video's. :-) I know what you are saying, it's all down to choice... I have no issues with taking fish, sometimes I do and sometimes I don't.
Anyway, fingers crossed we should have some more sea fishing video's on the way soon! Hope you're fishing is going well.
Tight lines, cheers Chris.
FootBallSkills HD I have hair!!
People like you spoil the internet.
Thanks for the abusive comments, my 8 year old brought your comments to my attention.
Thanks for her being subjected to such words.
you should go topeing
that would be a good vid time of the year for it to
Thanks Mason Billington we did have a trip planned for Tope last year, but it got called off because of the weather!
typical sucks when that happens
Gummy sharks from perfectly flat water? Is that only what they're like in the UK, or have everything I've looked at lies? Over here I've never heard of a gummy shark caught in no swell
Hi mate, over in the UK they definitely prefer calmer conditions, perhaps it's different in Australia!
Trimmingham?
Yes Darren.
I thought it looked familiar. We normally fish Weybourne or Salthouse but have fished Bacton.
whats the name of the fixed spool feel you used?
Hi Mark, I believe Jack was using the Shimano Aerlex Surf Reel. If you click the tackle box link in the video description you'll see a full list of what we were using :-) Cheers Chris.
cheers
I LOVE SEA BASS
Haha, me too! Altho I also love Smooth Hound, but wasn't complaining with the Bass! :-)
very good
Thanks Helen McCabe glad you enjoyed it and cheers for the nice feedback :-)
nice video. keep the videos coming :)
Cheers Basic_Fishing glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for taking the time to comment.
I would like to ask for ur crab bait both peeler and hardback, how long do u usually leave them out there? around 20 minutes or longer?

Haha, some sea's are more 'barren' than others. AdSven HD I'd say keep on going and keep putting the effort in, as eventually you'll be rewarded! :-)
ok lol bruhi love ur vids i watch u and tafishing every day i would say im my opinion do more sea vids as its bigger than carp and stuff but yh ill keep try buddy thanku keep it up :P
What is the name of the weights
Breakaway Impact leads.
Great video. I am subbed to you now. Catch a big one.
Thanks mate, we try! 😊
