I MET MY HIGHER SELF IN 1982 WHEN I WAS 12 YEARS OLD! I awoke early one morning to the sensation of my feet becoming paralyzed & when I went to sit up & look to see what was going on, I found I could not open my eyes or move my mouth. The paralysis worked its way up, engulfing my whole body. For some reason I WAS NOT AFRAID. IMMEDIATELY, I SAW MYSELF, THRU MY CLOSED EYES, FLOATING ABOVE MY PHYSICAL BODY LYING IN BED! My eyes were a luminous blue & for hair & clothing there was just flowing energy. I KNEW IT WAS ME BUT I WAS OLDER SOMEHOW. I looked to be 30’s or early 40’s but it was hard for me to judge how old this OLDER ME looked when I was 12. I had no knowledge of metaphysical or esoteric subjects. HAD NEVER HEARD THE TERM HIGHER SELF! NOTHING WAS SAID BUT SO MUCH WAS COMMUNICATED!!! I KNEW THAT WE R IMMORTAL BEINGS TO THE DEPTH OF MY SOUL! I also knew that there was waaaay more to reality than the day to day existence I had! AFTER A FEW SECONDS, EVERYTHING RELEASED & I COULD MOVE & OPEN MY EYES. I looked at my clock & it was 7:13am no significance there so I went back to sleep, excited & waiting for the rest of my family to wake up so I could tell them what had happened to me. After being asleep for awhile, I awoke again TO THE EXACT SAME SENSATIONS OF MY FEET BECOMING PARALYZED! I KNEW WHAT WAS ABOUT TO HAPPEN & I WELCOMED IT HAPPILY! Again, I SAW MYSELF, THRU MY CLOSED EYES, FLOATING ABOVE MY BODY LYING IN BED! After a few seconds, it all released & I WAS BACK TO “NORMAL”-but EVERYTHING HAD CHANGED! I BECAME OBSESSED W/METAPHYSICS & SPIRITUALITY! I BELIEVE IT HAPPENED TWICE SO THAT I WOULDN’T TRY TO RATIONALIZE IT AWAY. I LOVE SHARING MY EXPERIENCES W/PEOPLE, ALTHO I HAVEN’T MET ANYONE WHO HAS HAD THIS SAME THING HAPPEN…I KNOW I CAN’T BE THE ONLY ONE😂! I LOOK FORWARD TO THE DAY I COME ACROSS ANOTHER WHO HAS MET THEIR HIGHER SELF❤! AS FOR OBEs, In 1994, I had an experience where GOD (CREATOR, SOURCE-WHATEVER U CHOOSE TO CALL THIS POWER) LITERALLY REMOVED MY CONSCIOUSNESS FROM MY PHYSICAL BODY. IT WAS ASTOUNDING! I was an Alcoholic & HEAVY drug user & I believe he wanted me to SEE HOW SICK I HAD BECOME. THEREWAS ONLY LOVE & ACCEPTANCE-NO JUDGMENT AT ALL! That experience led me to 12 step meetings! I TOOK AN ONLINE OBE CLASS FROM A UA-camR I FOLLOW A FEW MONTHS AGO. I WAS SERIOUSLY PRACTICING TO HAVE AN INTENTIONAL OBE…I FINALLY DID IT LAST THURSDAY BY USING THE WBTB METHOD! FOR THOSE WANTING TO HAVE OBES, IMMERSE YOURSELF IN MEDITATION, JOURNALING ABOUT HAVING AN OBE & TALK TO URSELF FREQUENTLY THROUGHOUT THE DAY! Thanks for reading my comment! Blessings to u all🙏🏻

I have had two spiritual experiences. Both in my 40s.
The first one was a kundalini. This went on for several weeks. During that time, I would often have this sensation that the back of my head and spine were opening up like a book and cool air would be rushing in. Often this sensation occurred while I was at the office going about my job. At home, I was also able to drop down very quickly into meditation. The sensation was like being in water, dipping beneath a wall, and then popping up on the other side like being in an underground cave. Then I would know at that point that I was in deep meditation. The meditations were for the purpose of forgiving myself and knowing that we do not die. I also experienced the life prior to this one, which was not an easy one. During one of my early meditations, I had spontaneous orgasms. I was talking with a spiritual friend of mine during that experience so it began during the meditation but continued on for about an hour after. I felt that this kundalini was for healing the trauma of that prior life as well as showing me that we do not die.
The second experience was about 6-7 years later. I had been reading The Power of Now and when I read the words “all you have is now,” I felt this overwhelming sense of love. For about two days, I noticed that colors were super brilliant and I loved everyone. Even though that feeling passed, for many months after, I was able to ask and immediately know where I knew someone from (in a prior life).
I have been subscribed to another content creator on UA-cam who has been talking about quantum physics in which the concept is that there is only you in your experience and that everything outside of you is just a reflection of what is inside you. A mirror. You are constantly creating this reflection because you are the creator of your experience. Which means you can control your experience. Thoughts become things. Boiling it down to deciding that the things, places and experiences you want are really based on what you are really looking for, which is usually freedom. Freedom to be the creator you truly are. To me, a key element is passion. Passion is like the spark that jump starts desires into reality. All very interesting.
The one thing I’ve learned on my journey is that no one way is the right way. You are here to experience creation in a very individualistic way. After all, why would creation want to have duplicate experiences. How boring. 😉
Thank you Gareth. I have had a very similar experience to you through meditation. It touches me deeply to know that another person has had similar experiences. My experience has changed my perspective on self and reality. I have loving energy running through me always and it has given me a deep sense of connection and love. I am not attached to physical things anymore, I have changed my eating and drinking habits, my friendships have changed and I am changing my job from school teacher to meditation teacher. Thank you for sharing your experience.
It really is a matter of interpretation. I have had the same experience of God looking thru my eyes. I choose to call it my Higher Self. There’s no better feeling than this. I really appreciate his description of the journey.

The bliss or the state of love that we feel on the other side is impossible to stick around. It might be because of these bodies or it might be because it's too distracting. I've experienced it twice in my life but it never lasted more than a couple of weeks. The second time was like 13 years later.

This was an amazing talk. It really is different for each and every person. I experienced a lot of this stuff within 1 year of diving into my spiritual path and a lot of it was out of order with his.
One this i would like to touch on is the animal products and why thats an issue. Once you start to awaken you know that everything has consciousness, so taking life to sustain yours is a very terrible act. We absorb all that pain and fear they experience as they are tortured and slaughtered.
Its different if there is a mutual agreement between an animal and a hunter like, say a native American. As there is so much love and gratitude displayed between both parties.
But as we move toward heighten states being, we need to become lighter and eat lighter foods, so this is the other issue with eating dense food like meat.
Lastly they are a lot of chemicals and hormones given to these animals that then enter our bodies.
Now as for the void or the quantum that we enter in meditation is not the nothingness state. The void is an outward express of everything and the brahmin is an inward. I felt like I fell into my body and it was completely untethered. Like floating in space with no body, no stars, nothing. I know new experiences are needed and can be a test of sorts, so no matter what I surrender to it.
So if you just feel different and thing what the world is happening to me?? You're going through an awakening.
If you say that while feeling love for everything around you and crying, you're definitely going through first stage of enlightenment!!

I loved this interview and Gareth, who seems quite normal. But I suggest Gareth replace the wild-eyed photo of himself on his website, and it would help his credibility if he would explain why he is acquiring so much wealth from his spiritual practice.
He's definitely not accumulating excessive wealth with what he's doing.
In this world you have to have money and he has two sons. While I would not personally want to take money for spirituality, I would not want to starve and be homeless either. It is a materialistic world, particularly in the west.
The body is water, protein and fat! The rest is balance!
And energy!
Why are these past life regressions always so unbelievably violent it’s always some story where someone is dying or in a lot of pain. It’s so depressing like was there nothing else in that persons life they could have tapped into ?
In certain regression protocols, the question is asked “ How did you die?”
The consciousness within each person knows where to go to heal. That's why it goes to some of our most painful times. A good regressionist will help you understand that lesson and resolve it and that leads to healing and more happiness.
BTW, you both look like siblings.
Melissa is great but he was coming from his ego, which is fine cuz we all do but enlightened people don’t even describe others via “levels”. A self actualized person doesn’t even notice such things.
