Oh this is so badly skewed in Bundy’s favor! The car looked bluish because of the lights in the mall parking lot (even the judge in the bench trial pointed this out)! Carol spent PLENTY of time talking to Bundy when he was talking to her about the “supposed break in” of her Camaro, the time they walked to the “substation” (actually a laundromat). He wasn’t identified strictly on the time she was in his car and during the time that tensions ran high. Carol also DID describe the tear in the back seat more than one time!!! As far as the badge, he didn’t give her enough time to inspect it, so of course it would be difficult to remember! I don’t know how anyone wants to be a defense attorney! Somehow the victim ALWAYS is portrayed as the guilty party. Ms. DaRonch was anything but. She fought back, she got the heck out of that car and took off running toward help. She gets credit for bravery in my book, as well as a likely reason that more women weren’t killed!

Carol spent plenty of time talking to the suspect, and didn't identify Bundy from the photos right after, or the 2 times after. The other crazies fit everything from the MO to description better. Bundy was framed by police for this one to protect organize crime.
That defence Attorney was delusional. I was held at knifepoint in an attempted rape. Thankfully, I managed to escape. In Police interviews, I found that my recollection of some details became more clear after the initial few days when I was too traumatised to have a clear head. Even now, I can recall the details of the Hawaiian style shirt he wore.
Later, that defense attorney became a judge. When a transgender teenager tried to change their name several years ago, he compared it to Nazis. Oh yes, and he continued to say Bundy was innocent of the DaRonch kidnap and attempted murder even after his execution (and perhaps even now!) WHAT A NICE GUY....
They really took you seriously. Really amazing. I still can,t beleive Florida did not know who they had until they fingerprinted him. He was 10 most wanted & they did not have a picture of him? Come on.
I can only imagine that Carol, in her terror and trauma, may have gotten a few details wrong. Her memory blocked by fear. But she identified the right man and Ted made sure after that incident that no other victim would ever have the chance to escape. And so crazed was he for a victim that nearly getting caught that day didn't stop him from abducting Debra Kent that night at the high school play. Poor Debra, who knows what she went through that night as the beast slaked his rage and blood lust. She was heard to scream in the car park before Ted drove off with her........
This was a total tragedy. I knew Debra Kent. As far as I understand Bundy would not tell her parents where her body was. Just before he was electrocuted he refused to let them know. I was so relieved when he was no longer on earth.
She had ample time to get a good look at him. It was Ted. The car was a light colored Volkswagen. She got that right, too. She was right that he flashed a badge, too. It wasn't the only time he flashed a badge. She did amazing in her identification of him.

After all the videos I watched on Bundy and after all the articles that I've read I'm still amazed at his thirst for blood. I've also never believed that the killings started in 1974, In fact I've seen a video on UA-cam where he mentions 1973, but that's a lie too, it all began well before 1973 or 1974.
