I just finished the book, and I'm sad there seems to be so little discussion of it so far! I've got some of my own thoughts about it. Katniss must be descended from the covey, to have known about the lake and the songs and to have even been born in the seam, where they lived. I loved getting the origins of this book and seeing how they tied to Katniss... Like the Hanging tree song. The girl that wrote it and the hanging that inspired it. I bet Snow hated hearing that song and now we know why he loathes the Mockingjays. and how he even used one to his advantage... we also see how he came into poison and that he didn’t start out all bad. @@ramon-verolscholl101 I don’t think that would be the case. At this point in time I don’t think he would allow something like love to control him that easily. I think if anything he would be angry at the song, and those who sing it. I think it fuelled his anger towards Katniss

@@mohtaseemrahman4657 I think that could work as a BoS&S style prequel that serves as an origin story for Alma Coin where they could finally cover that
This just goes to show, one talented with charm and power, can become ruthless and evil every second he does what it takes to move up. Snow is one good villian, and a intelligent sob at that too.
Hot take: it was due to a dvd of Battle Royale, one of the last surviving dvds from pre-Panem America, which Highbottom watched before getting drunk that day.
Could you please do an updated the life of coriolanus snow and the life of lucy gray baird? I would also love to see a review to the ballad of songbirds and snakes.
I found the references to Thomas Hobbes very interesting in the book. The book itself was good(it is a hunger games book), but it isn't great. Collins wasn't able to show the darker sides of Snow, Dr. Gaul and in general Morality as well as for egsample Jeff Long. Jeff Long is the master for questions related to what is a human capable of doing. The dialougues with the angel in "Deeper" showed this very nicely and Collins should have picked up ideas like this from Jeff Long or Justin Cronin.

Yeah I love looking up what certain names mean and how they tie to the characters. There are also two siblings named Apollo and Diana Ring who are assigned the district six tributes. Apollo and Diana are actually brother and sister in Roman mythology
If you like making these videos about dystopias and such I can very strongly recommend doing Videos on Jeff Leng, Justin Cronin, Margeret Atwood, Stephen King, H.G.Wells and so on. I personally love the question "What is a human capable of doing?"

Woah, I haven't read the Prologue yet, but I love spoiling myself. Is everything a TRAGEDY in The Hunger Games?
Yes.
Yep. All sunshine and daisies
Yes
I mean, the idea of an povital system like the one in the Hunger Games is a desaster in itself
Pretty much...
the only thing i wish was explained in the books was what happened between tygris and snow
I wish it gave us the exact details of WHY the districts rebelled against the Capitol. I know it's implied that the Capitol heavily oppressed the districts but I'd have liked to see exactly what conditions drove the districts to rebel.
@@mohtaseemrahman4657 I think that could work as a BoS&S style prequel that serves as an origin story for Alma Coin where they could finally cover that
Dr. Gaul is the real antagonist of the series I would love 2 c that in a prequel movie.
THESE are the history lessons I would enjoy
I LITERALLY FINISHED THE PREQUEL AN HOUR AGO ON AUDIBLE THIS COULDN’T HAVE COME AT A BETTER TIME 🤪
This just goes to show, one talented with charm and power, can become ruthless and evil every second he does what it takes to move up. Snow is one good villian, and a intelligent sob at that too.
Poor Hibottom he didn't know Snow would try that in as there project...I can see why Hibottom didn't want to be Snow's friend anymore
Forget snow and coin Dr. Gaul was the villain
Now who would’ve thought Highbottom was gonna be played by Peter Dinklage 😭
Hot take: it was due to a dvd of Battle Royale, one of the last surviving dvds from pre-Panem America, which Highbottom watched before getting drunk that day.
KEEP UP THE AMAZING VIDS
a long time ago in a capital that only exist in books.....................
A DUDE GOT DRUNK AND CREATED A GAME THAT WAS SO VIOLENT.
I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS
Just finished the book and here pops your video! Awesome!
You did a great job on your Hunger Games video
YASSS A NEW VIDEO! Also movie flames is good at explaining things
That's quite a story it all started with snow and it ended with snow.
Snow lands on top
The video ended too soon I wasnt finished hearing your voice
Yes! Another Movie Flame Video! 😃
Yoo I'm about to read the new book I'm so excited
It's not out yet....is it.
King Zilla its is.
Wow. Really great work!
Could you please do an updated the life of coriolanus snow and the life of lucy gray baird? I would also love to see a review to the ballad of songbirds and snakes.
The fact that the original creator of the Hunger Games didn’t even want it to ever happen says a lot.
The dialougues with the angel in "Deeper" showed this very nicely and Collins should have picked up ideas like this from Jeff Long or Justin Cronin.
your videos are thorough and entertaining, thanks!
Very epic I always wanted to know about the origin off The Hunger Games to bad it's only a 06:20 long video thought it be longer but still yay 😃👍🏻.
Keep up the epic work respect dude 😃👍🏻.
Me currently- Watching hunger games
Also me- Wearing a mocking jay pin and necklace
Also me- Has hunger games books right next to me
Ok.
Hmm... I wonder if you’re a fan
What is more concerning, that he was thinking of hunger games having kids while he was drunk or what he could have created if he wasn’t drunk
I’m having a Harry Potter marothon I have read all the books for the hundredth time now time for the 20 hour long movie marothon thought I’d take a break so went to my fav UA-camd ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👌👌👌🤷♀️😉
Who noticed there were names from the original series, Arachne Crane, Hilarious Heavensbee, Lucky Flickerman, and more also the Heavensbee hall
Yeah I love looking up what certain names mean and how they tie to the characters. There are also two siblings named Apollo and Diana Ring who are assigned the district six tributes. Apollo and Diana are actually brother and sister in Roman mythology
If snow was 18 during the 10 hunger games that’s means he would have been in his 80s during the 75 hunger games
Wasnt he immortal?
@@theparrot6516well no because he died
You never disappoint!
When I read the prequel book I didn't like Highbottom but then I realized this guy was another victim of PANEM.
Caska Highbottom , the actor used in this video, is from Detroit: Become Human
Mann youre voice sounds amazing!!!
That was very awesome morgan 👍
You didnt even finish it yet?
I'm calling it now Highbottom, Snow's dad and Gaul was a trouple. :P
Gaul was the one pulling the strings though
She lived while the other two died
If you like making these videos about dystopias and such I can very strongly recommend doing Videos on Jeff Leng, Justin Cronin, Margeret Atwood, Stephen King, H.G.Wells and so on. I personally love the question "What is a human capable of doing?"
Love the content bro keep it up
Great video, thanks for sharing it with us.
Yay an upload
Love these videos!
How scary is that? The most diabolical inhumane ideas discussed casually between buddies and set into place but chance. How quickly chaos and misery can grow. Peace is so fragile
You should do a review on the first hunger games movie, i understand it could take a lot of time but it would be very good or you could do the life of albus dumbledore as we know more after the second fantastic beast's movie.
Great video as always ! :)
Wow, why did i envision Pluribus being a really cool African American guy with a pinstripe suit and hat, and Dr Gaul being a pale thin woman with spiky salt and pepper hair? These renditions looked nothing like my imagination...
this is amazing! and so interesting too!!
