How ironic is it that in this show Velma says “just being friends is the biggest insult a girl can hear”. Meanwhile in Velma she goes “lol you’re like a brother to me”.
I mean your boyfriend breaking up and friend zoning you for his dog (as if normal people dont have both) and then saying we can stay friends is pretty insulting
I still love this series. Glad it's back on Netflix so I can just repeat binge. Rly loved this reaction series too. I also appreciate their willingness to get dark in future episodes. Lot of people don't remember that the guy in the hospital from Destroido [see in "When The Cicada Calls"] was actually the 1st person to die in the series [his heart rate monitor flatlines and the gang walked out]. Fun fact 2 : What did Scrappy do that made Fred and Daphne have that scene? HE EXISTED.
I think they added the live action movie too
Loved this show as a teen, was made fun of for it a bit but it has so many just genuinely funny moments, like the teacher needing money line, was worth it.
"Avocados."
"It's- Freesh Avacadoos."
Cue the sad laughter of every vine kid ever
Imma be honest, I'm shocked that they didn't simp for goth Daphne
I respect the resistance to simp to a *highschooler*
Edit: Oh yeah, as an autistic guy, Fred is *super* autistic
I know I did
as an autistic guy, fred is not autistic lol?
he's one dimensional, same as everyoen else in the show.
it's a plot point.
i've seen some bad takes on mystery inc, but fred being autiustic takes the cake lol.
he 100% understands social cues.
he's not bashful or shy, hes never ": stimming " he's not misunderstanding feelings.
he openly talks to others about their own feelings, his own feelings - uh?
how is any of this autsitics?
he has a special interest in traps.
so,.. thats ONE singlualr trait, and its not even determinisitic of being autsitic to have a special interest
callin Fred Autisaitc is somehting Alltistic ppl claim, bc they dont really understand what Autism is as a broiader spectru,m.
sorry bud
@@GooFly-v3j He acts almost exactly like my cousin who is also autistic except instead of One Piece and Dragon Ball, it's traps
@@strombreakr i thoguth you said you were the Autistic one?>
mnow its your cousin.
at the risk of sounding liek chris chan, what you have described, is not Autism.
it is Asperger's syndrome at best.
but Fred also is not an Aspie.
he totally gets humans
he gets human emptions
he gets human interactions
he just REALLY LIKE TRAPS
shaggy REALLY LIKES FOOD , is HE autsitic?
for crying out loud, you dont understand the disorder, and thats fine - tiktok is polluting ppl
I used to watch this every day with my grandma, this show will always have a special place in my heart. Its also the best version of scooby lol
Nice I love Scooby Doo
I love Shaggy and Scooby best characters in all the shows, games and movies
@@WSendam true
I mean who doesn't like Scooby Doo... except for you know who...
So true
I like this comment. Short, Sweet, and to the point. Five stars would read again. 👍👍👍
The Robert E. Howard reference by just swapping the names is bloody hilarious! As a massive Lovecraft fan the Hatecraft episode is my favourite
This show always terrified me years ago, and loved it from start to finish. Great overarching mystery, great atmosphere, and so many great characters. Even back then, I shipped the Mayor and the sheriff, they're so cute together. I must give a thumbs up to that new show, Velma. The only good thing it did is increase my appreciation for this show even more, since it has all the things I love about the Scooby-Doo franchise, and more.
Im glad im not the only one who was scared by this too, it's so much more serious than the other series imo
Fun fact: Ultra Instinct Shaggy is technically canon because in another WB IP, shaggy pulls the main character throught the WB sign during the opening credits, with the Ultra Instict flame thing around him.
after rewatching this, never in my childhood would i have noticed that Velma has been making 1-3 moves on Shaggy every episode 💀💀
1:55:18 I just realized that the voice actor for this character is the same guy who does the Goose father from Kung Fu Panda, and I can't stop seeing him now as a talking goose. Also when's Jack Black's character going to come out of the woodworks to join the reference.
Honestly I would have watched a sequel or season 3 to this show over what we have been getting from scoobydoo so far
A lot of people only remember Angel [Cassidy] being the 1st person offed [see in "The Midnight Zone"] but after the Destroido employee, Ed Machine [E's Right Hand] was killed off by Pericles in his home [see in "Pawn of Shadows"]
After season 1 ends, Cassidy [Angel Dynamite] was the next one to be marked off the show by Pericles blowing up the research station [see in "The Midnight Zone"]
Before the Finale Episode [Come Undone] where The Entity would consume all of Crystal Cove, Hotdog Water [Marcy] would be killed off by Pericles' Kriegstaffebots [see in "Through The Curtain"]
0:22 Many things change, but Patrick Warburton's voice will always be as recognizable as hell.
Exactly. I watched the Emperor’s New Groove and recognized his voice. So recognizable.
@@nataliejones8308 Warburton was also the first "THE TICK" both animated and live action.
@@randallbesch2424 oh cool!
Funfact “Eskimo kisses” are actually called a kunik kiss and isn’t done by rubbing nose together it’s by putting your nose on the others check and rubbing hard against them the more aggressive the more love you have for them
They should make a tier list of every Scooby-Doo shows they've watched
2:18:43
8:00am: Wake up. Say hello to Fred's Picture.
8:02am: Brush teeth, comb hair, exfoliate skin.
8:05am: Consult dressing chart to see what Fred has chosen me to wear.
8:10am: Say morning affirmation, "Fred loves me. I love me. I and Fred love me". Repeat.
8:13am: Call Fred and update him on my morning progress.
8:15am: Recheck the day's outfit. Recheck hair, teeth, and skin.
More off screen...
Nah Velma wasn't cockblocking, i feel like she was trying to give fair warning- Shaggy has too many nugs in his brain for more than one source of affection😂
my favorite part is how velma was like I RECOGNIZED HIS FRECKLE PATTERN
while not only her, but every other character in this show has the same freckle pattern XD
edit: typo
I mean he only has half the freckles everyone else has
To the characters they look far more detailed than we can see.
1:12:52 man sounds like he'd politely knock on your door to kidnap you alongside his shark friend to steal a demon fox
Or he's the dad of some Indian girl who fuses with the son of an alien rock and a guy who looks like Homer Simpson
Or some kid who fell off some stairs then ran into his brother in a digital world
Crispin Freeman does good ass work
You know whats funnier, pets being jealous is real. I knew this guy who was dating a girl that owned a dalmatian and the dog peed on the guy's leg on multiple occasions. Dog jealousy is real guys
Love how Hotdog water is voiced by Linda Cardellini aka the woman who played Velma in the live action movies.
Despite already watching every episode, ready to watch this whole video too 😂
1:14:35 I can’t believe this show had the author of I Have No Mouth & I Must Scream playing himself 😂 😂 Harlan Ellison was actually that much of a hater & I love it
i was dumfounded when I saw it was he himself that voiced himself on a Scooby Do cartoon saying "Miskatonic" and I so wanted a 3rd season only except it would be the original series going across the country to end at the university.
@@randallbesch2424 Right! I delved into his stuff heavy last year, so it felt incredibly weird & coincidental.
"A N@zi bird."
Me: "Great job, guys. Now you know where this is going."
I love this show so much and I’m so sad it got cancelled. scooby-doo is absolutely the most underrated IP’s and mystery inc. Shows that
I watched this all the time
This was an incredible experience, loved running around with u and the team! thanks you for the invite! Video turned out brilliant & im super excited for future events
That didn't happen, you made that up. You are pretending.
“Why did you give us such big racks?”
Because Fred loves to build traps, obviously.
I can't believe it's taken me THIS long to understand that MISTER E is a pun on MYSTERY. I'm so fuckin stupid...
*Thankyou so much Spill The Milk for nearly 3 hours of Scooby Doo* My dogs got into a pretty serious fight. I broke a little toe breaking up the fight as a short gal ._.
I like how every time you call out one of the random audience ppl/citizens, it’s literally a special guest from the New Scooby Doo Movies (Don Knotts, Aunt Cass)
The teenagers “Dylan” and “Brenda” from the beginning of the Crab episode are clearly based on Dylan and and Brenda from Beverley Hills 90210 even their appearances especially Dylan who looks a lot like Luke Perry
Fun fact a public notary degree doesn’t exist. You can get a notary license for 45 dollars by applying for it online… it’s a license you apply for there is no such thing as a notary degree…
Maybe in this world it does. I mean their corporations are sovereign like countries with passports and their own laws on their soil. Cops find guarding criminal animals over policing a town more important.
This show is great because of its insanity and all of the out of context scenes. Its personally comedy gold 🤣🌟
I remember getting up in the middle of the night to watch this because it was only on Cartoon Network at that time. I was so obsessed with this omg
Fred might be dense but the man knows what he likes and he is a great backwards driver.
I've recently rewatched Mystery Incorporated and it's as good as I remembered, probably my favorite cartoon ever besides Avatar The Last Airbender.
Vincent VanGhoul is a reference to a character from the thirteen ghosts of Scooby-Doo played by Vincent Price
Oh btw I just want to say that Fred says his S/O is the only one that can call him Freddy THE WHOLE gang calls him Freddy on MULTIPLE occasions, Poly Scoopy Gang fr
The reaction video I didn't know I needed! Always loved the darker/story-driven vibe of Mystery Incorporated since it aired - easily the best iteration of Scooby Doo for me! Ya'll just gave me something to binge tonight, lol.
dude I have actual half-ish trauma with this video, I moved to NC after 12 years of living in MI. I had a breakdown hearing the news while watching this. Thank you STM, very cool
I am pretty sure the voice of Hotdog Water's dad is the voice of Donatello from TMNT 2012 (who is also the voice of Rapheal in TMNT 1987).
I love watching these grown ass men get excited about solving scooby doo mysteries
0:28 I immediately heard Kronk from The Emperor's New Groove 😂😂😂
I didn't grow up watching this but I was not ready for this STM series to end lmao
I can't wait to rewatch the most funny goofy ahh trio of all time binge another cartoon and talk over the important plot scenes
I still love that Hot Dog Water is voiced by Linda Cardellini, Velma from the live action movies
The fact that hotdog water is LITERALLY (Linda Cardellini) the LIVE ACTION VELMA of Scooby doo 2002
They brought in actual literal Harlan Ellison for this
I can hear him do the AM Hate monologue in my head.
And that's basically his character here.
That "Relma Delma Doo" moment was just... Shudder-inducing.
17:38 I was absolutely losing my fucking mind trying to think of why this voice actor sounds so incredibly familiar, he's Ratchet from the Ratchet & Clank games
