Hi Lou. Your pattern paintings are beautiful. Have already done one of yours in the blue/ochre/grey tones. Turned out fabulous. I did mine differently, but with similar result and wanted to pass on an easier way to do what you do with the rectangles! I use narrow 5mm paper tape and cross it over my stretched watercolour paper. That way it doesn't matter if you get a little paint on the tape. You can paint to the edges. No need to get out pencil and ruler. When you've painted the rectangles and done all the designs and the painting is dry, carefully peel off the 5mm tape and discard. This leaves lovely white borders. Hope this helps. Keep up the great work. Kind regards Francie from NZ 😁👍
