    Wonderful playing! Used to play bass with a band. The keys player had a rhodes 73 mki and a synth on top of it. Since those days i want to have a Rhodes, not my priority right now but.. what a nice sounding and pleasant to play instrument!

    I watch this video often because I love your playing! Especially the first little phrase with the heavy bass part. What song is that? Sounds familiar...

    Do you have one pair of shoes for every note on the keyboard?

      I'd have to count. There are more shoes in another room.

    I hear a lot about the poor action on the Mk1. Is this because it is just old and needs work done on it?

    • @dspiffy
      @dspiffy  5 років тому

      In my case, I think so!

    Do you mind telling me whether the mk.1 is from early ‘76 or late?

    Hey, nice playing ! How much did you pay for the suitcase m2 by that time in 2017? How did you like its key action ?

    • @dspiffy
      @dspiffy  3 роки тому +1

      I think around 1.5k. Action is wonderful!

      Are you going to pay my flight from Australia? Vintage Vibe do a kit called the Miracle Mod, I'm currently in the process of installing it on my Mark 1. It's a bit of work but not that bad.

      LostInFunk Vintage Vibe miracle mod is not something unique. Read a later Rhodes manual! They talk about how to add the action bump mod to earlier pianos. And you’re supposed to use felt and not plastic. Vintage vibe is the cheap and easy route to NOT doing it the way the ACTUAL pianos manual suggests... not the route I’d go, but that’s on you...
