No dual POV on this video unfortunately because Papa deleted his recording (noob!). Any feedback on the "cinematic scenes"? We had a lot of fun making these.

I love your videos bro, I've never been great with the vehicles in battlefield games (grew up on early Halo), and latency on console in bf2024 makes vehicles a little ineffective to aim with, your content and a few others really fill that CQC, fast paced, Air Combat for me!
For some genuine critique on the cinematic scenes, the first view actually made me think you guys were either A) had a few teammates planted on some buildings with their HUDs off while you played, for occasional good cinematic views-or B) Battlefield 2024 has a theater (replay) mode that I just never knew a battlefield game could support (and it's funny, I was thinking about how the technicalities would work, and I can only see a battlefield game for console and PC supporting a working theater/replay mode by forcing players to store one match locally as an optional setting, like for example Path of Titans has a replay mode but it requires the user to enable it and it takes up internal storage over being saved online and auto deletes over elapsed time of recording).
ANYWAYS-But by the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th cinematic view, it was clear it was you guys redoing the moments in a private lobby with friends manning the tanks, the grounded player view, and the very accurate recreation of the helicopters movements and where it came from. Like seriously props on the effort, this is genuinely old, resourceful, "Machinima" levels of effort.
On the other hand, it's kind of impossible to recapture everything to the T, so some scenes would lack the infantry firefight that was happening in the match, as it would go dead quiet in terms of infantry and other sounds when swapping to the cinematic scene. Or on the other hand there was a few instances of the bot players shooting at the camera guy, very much like bots would shoot at a player too lmao.
I'd recommend shorter cuts of the cinematic parts, with more seamless in betweens of the original video and the cinematic ones. Try more views from right next to the tanks with the camera following the helicopter right after the kill. And try to incorporate the camera man to precisely follow the helicopter's movements when the focus is just on your helicopter and not on the target, think of like how racing games sometimes have that cinematic camera view (Mario Kart I believe uses this when the round/race ends) and how the camera is stationary but also perfectly tracking the Helicopter; i only mention this because there was a couple moments where the camera very loosely followed your helicopter around. No hate by any means.
This is a very unique editing style for this kind of gameplay from what I've seen on UA-cam, & I think it would be easier to pull this duel gameplay pov view + private-match Machinima/cinematic scene views in a more Montage-y kind of video, like the kind that's a little over edited (not a bad thing), fast paced, copyrighted loud music kind of video. While single view and duel/multi view edited videos really work on their own as your guy's gameplay itself does the heavy lifting in terms of entertainment.
I really like what you guys were going for with the scene at 4:02 - that's definitely a good example of a scene that could've been completely stationary, with the camera man trying to precisely follow the Helicopter, and could've used some after editing when the heli was going around the building by zooming closer to it, keep it zoomed as the cameraman pans to the left side, then have the edited zoom return to normal as the missile gets closer, cutting back to the original gameplay view immediately before the missile hits and gets the kill/assists. Another trick you guys could try for the future, is keeping the arms and taking the cameraman as a fixed enemy pov, like at 4:26 there could be a view of someone firing that missile at you and cut back to the original heli view shortly before dodging it. Same could be done with like a first person view of a recreation of a jet tailing/trying to shoot you down, just to cut back to your heli view of you outplaying/out-maneuvering them.
5:45 - 5:57 was good cinematography, just a little too floaty of camera work, and lingers too long after the explosion in my opinion.
Really interesting and creative stuff you can explore with this moving forward, whether a video is just single, duel, and/or cinematic povs, all your vids have been plenty entertaining. GGs on the 108-0 in 12 min.
    Also we don't talk about what happened at 5:35 & 8:19 😂
(Edit: idk why I kept calling this game 2024. 2042** lol)

Thanks a lot for the nice words and the very detailed feedback!
I agree the lobby still feels somewhat "quiet" or "empty" during the cinematic scenes. At the same time I think it's a step-up from our last video (149-0 on Manifest), where we recorded the scenes in a completely empty server. So the bots definitely add a level of immersion, but man is it a hassle to get good footage in a lobby filled with bots who all carry AA and M5s/RPGs... they're a menace. At one point our heli literally got crushed by a tank the bots called in via air-drop!! I will see if I can use the Portal editor to turn down their aggressiveness for next time.
You make some good points about the camera work. To be honest we didn't put too much thought into this. I made sure to hide the first person view of the gun carried by the cameraman, but at the same time the cameraman moves around during certain scenes, so it's kind of a mix between "enemy infantry POV" and "cinematic cutscene". Also, tracking the helicopter very smoothly and accurately with the camera is harder than one thinks I noticed!
All in all, the scenes here certainly aren't perfect, but they were good enough considering how inconvenient it was to get the footage with those annoying bots. And I definitely blame the lag for 5:35 and 8:19 ;)

Thanks! Agreed, this map doesn't play well as infantry, too big and open
