RIDING INSANE CLIFF TOP TRAILS!!

- Talk about bucket list road trips... A California trip has always been something I have dreamed of doing so Kara & In decided to pack the bikes into the bags, leave the rain and slow behind in the UK and fly to the USA for a dream 2 week road trip shredding all of the famous dirt jumps and skatepark spots.
After flying into Los Angeles we headed straight to Thousand Oaks to ride the Sapwi bike park which was insane and from there onwards we now find ourselves at the famous cliff dirt jump spot in Santa Cruz riding BMX style trails and I would go as far to say that this is one of the best trails spots in the world. We had an amazing session here flowing the dirt jumps and sending huge tricks too! After the dirt jump session we then crushed down into Santa Cruz to get some food and do a mini street tour before finishing with a stair set send!!
We are both riding our hardtail dirt jump bikes in this video, one is a Haibike DRT11 kitted out with components from Halo wheels & Gusset components.

I told Kara about Greer (look up overdrive at speed on UA-cam you wont be disappointed) and the Temecula bike park but after you gotta go to Los Panchos Mexican Cantina... it will be the best food you'll eat down here unless you head down south to San Diego. Hope to see you out there! I'll be at the Temecula park Tuesday around 10!

You need to visit Gorge road in Queenstown. It's a special place. I've been riding a little over a year. I totally understand what you mean by the style of jumps. Always took me a few runs to adjust. I'd normally over shoot, Once you get the pop It's sweet. In the UK now
If you go to so-cal you to check out Sapwi Bike Park. Its pretty epic.

That's Nor-Cal style dirt jumps for you. Steep is how I learned. And technically that was just Aptos. There's lots more to see just North in Santa Cruz proper.

Looks like you guys are on a fun trip... just one cinematography tip you may want to consider... don't change sides to the subject... at least in the same sequence... the subject should always be moving in the same direction, coming from the same side each scene...
