CZ is crushing it. I handled a bunch of their shotguns at 2020 SHOT SHOW - really impressive stuff, made for the field and made to last generations, at price points that fit a workin' man's budget.
I did buy a CZ side by side, but I dont remember what model it was, but it didnt matter. I really wanted one, and I had a very hard time finding one brand new for under a grand, but I eventually came across this. Out of all my weaponry, imo this is one of the most fun to shoot
Love my g2 I ahve extended pattern masters on both barrels when I aim and shoot they fall. They kick like a mule and bruise my shoulder but the gun is awesome
I’d like to see the all terrain in a blk graphite cerakote....give us the features with a more traditional look....that green is hideous! Does the regular G2 have the magnets?
While the magnets are convenient, pointing an open gun in any direction is by definition safe. Clay shooters do it all the time and it took me some time to get over the "I'm being flagged" feeling. The gun is open it can not go off
The straight grip is not there to facilitate "sliding back" to pull the second trigger (0:19-0:23). You should never "slide back" to pull the second trigger.
You can shoot steel through the Cylinder, Imp Cylinder, and Modified chokes. Note the choke will pattern with steel tighter than lead. So for example, the Cylinder choke with steel will pattern like a modified choke shooting lead, Imp Cylinder like an Imp Mod, and modified like a full. We don't suggest shooting steel through any choke tighter than the modified. You will receive 5 chokes, Cylinder, Improved Cylinder, Modified, Improved Modified, and Full with the gun.
Can you shoot slugs out of this if you pull the chokes out? Also if you can, will it mess up the choke threads. This is my first SxS, all the gun ranges by me only allow shooting of slugs with shotguns.
Hey Joe, you can shoot slugs out of this gun using the Cylinder choke installed. This will help protect the threads. We don't suggest ever shooting any of our shotguns without a choke installed for the reason you mentioned. If you shoot without a choke installed not only can you damage the threads but often you will get debris built up in the threads and then when you install a choke again later it can cause further issues or not allow the choke to fully seat.
Have to ask...Why the All Terrain with green coating ? probably not too popular, when the std bobwhites have a hard chrome black finish that thats is very wear resistant ,( maybe similar to the old SKB side x sides ) , anyway?
The green finish might not be for everyone, but the Cerakote itself is one heck of a great finish, especially for folks that might want to use one of these for waterfowl and turkey hunting where the glare of our black chrome might be counter-productive.
Why not? Use the right shot size, and you are good to go. Shot clays with an old stevens 311a in 20 ga. You can either shoot or you can`t. An $8000 shotgun will not make you a better shot just poorer. Or
Hi CZUSA Firearm, I just bought a CZ Bobwhite g2 20gauge. I want to buy both extended choke tube for mine but I don’t know which brand and size can be fit for my 20g. Cab you tell me or show me the extended choke tube? Is installed extended choke tube can be kick harder or same as the one came with the gun? Thanks
I wish someone would import it to Hungary. Is this model made in the USA or in the Czech Republic? Latter would be better for us as for the logistics (we are almost neighboring countries).
At this time we do not make a left handed bobwhite, we do make a left handed over/under for the field in our Drake line. Keep an eye on our social media accounts and social media for future product releases!
@@czusafirearms Thanks for the reply. One more question: I have the Bob White 20 guage SxS. I find the barrel is too long for me to hold steady with my left arm due to shoulder problems. Can the barrel be cut down ? I would only have a qualified gun smith do this. Thanks in advance for any advice.
@@ejhickey While it can be done, you would lose the choke tube nests and end up with cylinder bore barrels. Also, the factory regulation may or may not stick around, since you're removing the structure tying the ribs together at the muzzle. It can be done, but it may or may not have a negative impact on the gun -- but a good gunsmith can help reduce the risks greatly. That's a tough one!
@@czusafirearms Thanks for the reply . I will have the gun examined by a good gunsmith in my area , Northern Illinois. However , if doing this has a negative effect on the gun , I might be better off selling it and getting a 20 gauge with a shorter barrel. It's a nice gun and I would hate to reduce its value and usefulness.
Bought one in 410 about 10 yrs ago. Right barrel would not shoot, sent back to cz. After returned still doesn’t shoot. Been a safe queen ever since. Will never buy cz again.
like, OD green and wood on the same gun is a major fucking problem, and it's actually more annoying to behold than people responding to their own comments on youtube IMO
Andres, we are making them as fast as we can. Thank you for the feedback. Make sure you contact one of our CZ Authorized dealers and they can place one on backorder for you! CZ is crushing it. I handled a bunch of their shotguns at 2020 SHOT SHOW - really impressive stuff, made for the field and made to last generations, at price points that fit a workin' man's budget.
I have the 12 and 20. The 20 gauge is nicely balanced one of my favorite shotguns.
I wish I'd seen the all terrain before ordering my G2. The sling swivel is an excellent addition.
Not having a sling was my only gripe about the bobwhite, still love mine though

That magnetic extractor is genius.
CZ makes great firearms.
Bring the P-10 Micro to the US.
Been trying to find one of the all terrains in a 20 gauge for ever. Still no luck. Hope CZ gets them out to shops soon.
I ABSOLUTELY love my 20g soo much
I got the bobwhite g2 12gauge last weekend now I want them all. Sucker kicks like a mule, but completely impressive!
Have you shot heavier loads through it like buckshot or slugs
@@mattconroy3357 yes. Both. I take out the chokes for slugs. It is a very nice shotgun.
So does the regular Bobwhite G2 shoot 3 inch magnums as well?
@@guaporeturns9472 yes
Nice presentation. Looking at the CZ Bobwhite G2 Project Upland to purchase.
I have the 28 gauge and love it for rabbits etc...
I have the G2 in 28 gauge coming.. I can’t wait.
I'm seriously considering getting one. I have a o/u in 28 and love it.

Picking my bobwhite up today!
I have the 20 gauge, I just ordered and am about to pick up the 28 gauge. Now if they would only make a 16 gauge too.....I would be totally broke! 😂
Hell you can get all three for the price of one of those fancy Italian shotguns. CZ is changing the game.
I understand that.
Been trying for months to score a 28 gauge…..hopefully they’ll get some out soon.
I’m going to buy that firearm tomorrow!
I’d like to see the all terrain in a blk graphite cerakote....give us the features with a more traditional look....that green is hideous!
Does the regular G2 have the magnets?
OD green itself isn't hideous, however putting OD green cerakote on a side by side should be a CRIME
I've been carrying mine since August. After 3 months the "super hardy" black finish has already worn off.
While the magnets are convenient, pointing an open gun in any direction is by definition safe. Clay shooters do it all the time and it took me some time to get over the "I'm being flagged" feeling. The gun is open it can not go off
Damn I want one of these in 12 gauge!
Get one! Very impressive shotgun
Kicking myself on not buying the green one last gun show.
Groovy
i would get one but not a fan of the english style stock
Where can I buy the Bobwhite G2 in Germany? I wasn't able to find a dealer.
How do you loosten up the actions? The ones i have seen have all been so stiff to open they were almost unusable.
Wish CZ would offer the Sharp Tail in the All Terrain finish
Are side-by sides good for turkey hunting? Are they accurate? Any thoughts?
They are outstanding for turkey! Make sure you pattern both barrels.
Please change your logo to "come for the handguns, stay for the long guns"
Is the Bobwhite G2 generation updated internals and scaled down frame the same as the Huglu 202B ?
The straight grip is not there to facilitate "sliding back" to pull the second trigger (0:19-0:23). You should never "slide back" to pull the second trigger.
What is the price of this gun really nice thanks
I want one!!!!
Please send some to Indiana US I've been waiting a Month
What is the overall length of the 20 guage? Cant find that stat anywhere. Thanks

Just ordered an all terrain in 20g... can't wait to blast some ducks.🦆
Same! I got the 20 gauge too. Got some buckshot for deer hunting
Can we reverse the triggers for left handed people
So is a regular Bobwhite chambered in 3 in ?
I wonder if the all terrain one had a single trigger or if its only double trigger.
The Bobwhite G2 All-Terrain still has double triggers like the standard Bobwhite G2 -- it just adds the magnetic chambers, Cerakote and sling studs.
Have to ask...Why the All Terrain with green coating ? probably not too popular, when the std bobwhites have a hard chrome black finish that thats is very wear resistant ,( maybe similar to the old SKB side x sides ) , anyway?

Matt, you absolutely can. These can take any production 2 3/4" or 3" load, including buck shot, slugs, and 3" Magnums.
Dumb question. Is a side by side like this good for trap shooting?
Nothing professional, but if you’re just wanting to have fun, heck yeh.

I have the Drake in 20 ga and it says made in Turkey. I’m not certain whether or not they all are though. It’s very beautiful in person for sure.
Just bought a 20 ga bobwhitw
does the normal version of the G2 have ejectors?

They are built strong enough for all modern shotshells on the market. Including all 2 3/4" & 3" buckshot loads.
