People would say Saro destroyed MB14 but I love the fact that MB14 seemed so happy that the world got to see his good friend's talent!
I am more of an expert on harmonies, and MB14’s harmonies on his first round showed a deep understanding of harmonic progression and contrary melody lines. He not only didn’t limit himself to octaves and fifths as you mentioned, but the lines didn’t follow the exact same pattern, moving around in ways which were harmonically pleasing yet at least partially independent. He brought out the fullness of the chords he was working with (vi-III-IV-V) and it was that fullness of harmonic sound that made this round so memorable instead of lacklustre. If his chords were less full, this round would have been a complete downer; instead, it is still one of the best musical loops I’ve ever heard in a performance.

The start of Saro's 2nd round just has so much forward momentum and it builds up so quick. He wants to let you know he's intending to tear the entire place down.

The second round of MB14 is actually a cover of Toxicity from System of a Down. The "because i got high" part of his round is the second track and the part afterwards is actually the final part of Toxicity again. He is actually playing only 2 songs here.
