Also one of my favorite levels, much more fun than the Dam especially with the last upgrade to your eye. Kinda wish that these guards were playable in multiplayer.
The first half was somewhat fun, but the second one took me ages last time due to the electric floors -thing where enemies spawned down while going up, it made it feel long due to all the retries.

The scenes with scaramanga talking about your eye and what are your skills with this, it's scare. Something is strange : Dr no is from spectre exactly like Blofeld, i don't see any reason to be on war against dr no. Also when this game was released i see a scene of a level where you can take your opponent and throw him to sharks, i tought there was this level in game.
Raycevick actually just recently released a video talking about Goldeneye: Rogue Agent. It's quite interesting the hell the developers went through to make the game and everything that was sacrificed.
This game is underrated in my opinion. The only thing that holds it back for me is the raised aiming reticle which I absolutely despise. But graphically this game was pretty good and the levels had some cool highlights in them with solid level design to boot. The shooting in this game was a bit stiff but it was nevertheless satisfying to shoot and blow bad guys up. Not to mention the Goldeneye abilities which I haven't seen too many games have a similar gimmick. If I were to make a first person shooter, I would make one similar to this game.
@@HRPNX-vl4uu why did I respond with uwu, just to leave a comment here for you to somehow randomly come across a year later? But yes during 2018 the games population declined to a point where you can only really play on preplanned nights I moved on and didn't care anymore, I even missed the next run map rally which if you spoke to my pre 2018 self I would of been very excited for, however now I do regret not going to it
Jacob Richardson, the rest of the game is ridiculously hard, this game has a lot going for it, but it’s stupid hard difficulty will turn off many players.
I've always wondered how the heck there are so many areas in the Octopus. From the outside, it looks pretty small like maybe one or two arenas could fit in there, maximum. Then you got so many battle spaces, hallways, and elevators? Wtf lol? Developers didn't think that through.
My favourite mission out of this game cause it features enemies that are actually different to Dr No's Thugs. It's really odd how this game never got a sequel, its hated for not being a true James Bond game yet, is it supposed to be about bond? Wheres the 007 in the title? Ok yes bond is in the game for all of 45 seconds or so, but, I just don't get all the hate it got.
They hyped up the enemy AI quite a lot, actually. Something about E.V.I.L. AI or something, when...you can see these guys are just as rock dead stupid as any other Bond game. Especially in a game where...let's be honest, you have Force powers like wallhacks, invincible shields and telekinesis. And it's not as overly edgey as the premise describes where you're just an anti-hero taking down even badder guys, so you're not really doing anything outright villainous (at least in Shadow the Hedgehog you can choose to do that kinda thing). That, and the actual gameplay is seemingly more clunky and slow than every other Bond game on the same platform before and after. Really, the most interesting thing I'd say it's one of the few regenerating health examples before CoD made it popular. Overall, it's not a BAD game by any means, just a bit disappointing for the time that's fairly harmless now. I'd take this over...well...there being zero games at all in the series.
@@UltimaKeyMaster That does make sense, although I'd think a remake, with revamped AI would be kind of Ok, but issues with its premise and story would still exist. If they for example do a sequel but, learn from their mistakes with what you said about bad AI and remove the Abilities, I think it could do well in this day and age. Make it like Doom 2016 or Wolfenstein: The New Order, gritty, dark and VERY Different to this game. Imagine running around guns akimbo with the ability to do takedowns... Imagine how good that could actually be. I know DooM has a different premise, but it's kind of what Goldeneye: Rogue Agent was advertised as back in the early 2000's.
Fog Full Of Silhouettes the problem I had with this game is the aiming. It was very stiff and difficult to control at times and the weapons didn’t have a lot of variety. I would’ve liked to see different smgs or assault rifles at least. Plus the reticle was off center, felt weird
I always find it hilarious when Goldfinger get angry at GoldenEye for "spending his money."
But it was worth it
What does 1 expect? Think giving a kid the keys to The Candy Shop.
🤨Need I go on?
Wow dude, you were hard-cold in this playthru. A lot of headshots and some nasty mag-rail doubles.
I always loved that submarine Goldeneye buys. And Goldfingers reaction to him spending his money.
You know it my friend.

Oh yeah, me too. Octopus guards and elites are really cool and their voices are little deeper, pitch bounce wise than Dr.No's troops.

@Zach Plaisted V1 or V2?
Jazz4YourSoul Launch device included for the low low payment of 3 million Euros! (Nuclear explosives not included.)
Stealth was never an option
This is the best mission ever graslu00!

No. The final mission is.
Ironically scaramanga played a guy that had to use the magnetic field ie the force.

I can say that the AR4 is the HK416, Jackal .357 is the Desert Eagle, and the Spec 9 is P99, right?

The Octopus (underwater base) is similar to "Atlantis" (Stromberg Shipping's base from "The Spy Who Loved Me")
The bloom @ 2:17 lol hurts to see
In the beginning of this level you can hack the elevator and crush someone to death with it.

Once you get the shield, you don't use anything else
I don't understand why Goldeneye doesn't just steal the equipment instead of buying it. I mean, he's killing everybody in the facility anyways.
Where's the fun on that? Better spend someone else's money.
That's what I thought too. Or why doesn't he try to calmly steal the coordinates instead of killing his way through everyone.
