This is the best gingerbread house recipe I've ever made!! I did half muscovado, and half brown sugar, instead of the whole portion of muscovado, and it was the perfect flavour for the kids. I'm keeping this recipe for years to come!!
Currently doing it and I just melted a little more butter. Also before placing baking paper on top of the dough to roll I added a dash of water on the top. Hopefully all goes well when I finally bake them tho 😂 Update it turned out beautifully I recommend the tips above

I’ve just made this recipe for the first time, but the dough feels too dry and is cracking. Do I need to add some water before rolling and baking?

what will happen if i chill it overnight?
it’s not the best for chilling. i tried and it was so crumbly to work with :(
