      There's a difference between those who need to learn, and those who know. That's why you see young people just going ahead and doing what they want, and those who WANT to do something so spend a bunch of time learning how.

    • @johng5261
      @johng5261 9 років тому +5

      mr.knowitall It's probably just not possible now. You had way less distractions back then, hardly any computers, no internet. They were living in the right 20 block radius, and met the wrong group to provide them equipment. At new line, you had lots of young people back then working there, now everyone is 35, 40+. I would say the average director before they reach that level success is looking to be around 35 years old now. It just don't happen that fast anymore. Even rappers every year their entrance is getting older. Used to be a 17 old rapper was the normal by 19 blew up, now its like get out by 24 or 25, possibly later. The system has matured to a place, and the competition is so thick, that you need years of branding for whatever you are doing to make it. Just my observation.

    This is why every son NEEDS A FATHER. You get love from your mother but you get discipline from your father. Your father instills the skills you need to be able to handle adversity and not act like a little cry baby when you don't get your way.. Obama and Michelle they never talk about not having kids before you are married. I will. If you know your not going to be there for your son/daughter than DON'T HAVE KIDS. If you can't support them then don't have them. THE REAL SIGN OF A MAN IS IF YOU HAVE A LEGIT JOB AND CAN SUPPORT YOUR FAMILY!!! Not how many hoes you can bed. I wish woman would have more respect for themselves rather than hooking up with deadbeats. Hughes was the boss and 2pac never had that father figure to help him handle situations like this.

    It's amazing to hear what he said about the movie JUICE because if your around 40 years old....I remember alot of us thinking "Tupac changed...now he thinks he's Bishop".I think Pac was so smart he saw the power of that imagery and started to run with it.He was one Pac before JUICE and a different Pac after . That change happened so early on in his career us early fans forgot about it while the majority of his fans were post JUICE so they never knew the difference any ways.

    That story about Juice was really eye-opening. People said that Tupac changed after that movie, but to hear it from a firsthand account from Alan Hughes explained a lot. Because when you think about it, Tupac didn't have all those tattoos, and his songs wasn't hardcore gangsta rap when he started out.

    • @JernosComicsPopCulture
      @JernosComicsPopCulture 2 роки тому

      That story about Juice is a flat out lie, or Mr. Hughes just simply didn't really know Tupac on a deeper level. For anyone that knew Tupac, or was even hip to his music prior to him doing Juice, they would know that Tupac always had that duality in him. You also have to remember that Tupac was homeless and was taken in by pimps and dope dealers between 1988 and 1990, and during that time, Pac hardened up a lot and became even moreso a product of his environment.

    Typical movie director exaggerating things. Especially the fight between him n pac. Tupac didn't want to be a Muslim gangster in the movie. Regardless of his his weight tupac was muscular and strong. I'm 12st but bench and squat over 100kg+. Tupac was a normal real street dude who kept it real

    I don't think that he is lying completely. The truth is always somewhere in the middle.

    I believe him...Tupac is not above getting his ass whooped...I think he was telling his story this way, trying to still have respect for PAC.
