Yes the new doru doesnt have protection, but it will have more coming in bt17 to help with deletion prevention. The new dorus effect helps with getting around magna x, because every set will always need atleast a way to counter each other.
Will Dorugora be able to swing over Magna X though? I thought Magna was usually at 15k DP… I’m hoping someone can solve the deck though. BT17 seems to far away and I want Doru to be good now lol
@MrJsStrategyPlays you'd be suprise on how many digimons that can swing over 15k and retain 15k even on your opponents turn. With the new Doru, you can force the magna x to block and do other shenanigans with it to break away the body.
@@t0shikita42you don’t even need to wait for bt17, in bt16 the doru deck can challenge magna especially with the punch option card and “this digimon attacks at start of main phase”
He forgot to draw off evo sometimes (plus forgot the memory gain off the Dex cards sometimes) but I don’t think he looked lost lol. Sunariza is 100% better than Ryuda, he could’ve taken it, he just didn’t have the speed
A lot of misplays by the alpha player. Especially not gaining the 1 mem from dex on his last turn of game 1. Probably wouldn't have saved him but every play counts with alpha.
Nah the raid was too much for him. He could’ve gone into Ouryuken at the end of game 1 but, BWG did have protection. He was forgetting to draw and some memory gain though
@@MrJsStrategyPlays he did have blocker retal then chose to swing and play a body for you to raid into AND you swung while under bt13 alphamon (and he also dedigivolved both your lvl6 to lvl5 after setting up the bt13 alpha effect)
DUUUUUDE WHAT?! You guys really underestimate the power of being able to suspend your opponents bodies. I don’t really care for the whole package in the deck, but ryudamon by himself giving the inheritable is GOOD
I see both sides of this argument. I don’t think Ryuda is good in the deck. Playing a tamer for free is nice and then being unaffected by digimon effects is great. And the inheritable is good to clear bodies that have deletion but not battle protection. But it seems far too situational and I’m almost never just promoting a rookie when playing Alpha. Then of course, you can’t play too many Shuu’s in the deck or else you could brick on multiples. And then the chances of you having a 2nd body on board to activate the alliance, how? Alpha doesn’t play bodies for free. I do believe if he had Sunariza he would’ve applied way more pressure with his single stack
I think it's good, i play it in my alphamon deck but the inheritable never comes up in my case, xD i think it's good for the protection against digimon effect and play the shu yulin , her reboot is something i really like because now if have the oportunity you can attack twice and haver the alpha to block too. But i thin the ryudamon's protection it's not that good as the dorumon from bt16
I don’t use it for shuu yulin. The inheritable by itself is amazing. It’s not just for swinging into bodies, it’s also for defense. When you block you can also trigger it which messes with swarm decks. Especially if you have more than one in the stack. It also helps you get past blockers. Maybe you don’t want to clear the board, but deal with the blockers preventing closing a game. This also affects tamers too! Suspend analog man so you can redirect an attack. Suspend analog youth to prevent the memory and egg hatch. I will die on this hill. Ryudamon is good and versatile. I still play alphamon today and go toe to toe with top decks because of him.

If you're afraid of the Gazi preventing you from gaining memory from the boosts, would you not just use that as your raid target?
Well for Raid you have to attack into the highest DP digimon so that’s not always possible
