I ilke Koichi (old), but only in combo with dusk/velgr. playing on sim made me realize that I wouldn't gain the memory of him with lowee, so I have to play better and plan out my plays very carefully. I also like the AncientGaruru as a top end, just because of all the add to hand-effects inside this deck as well. but the other pair of lvl6 ist still in the open. venus, cendril or valky. I also wanna test the (mostly) purple hybrid build for magnagaruru. maybe that is some spicy stuff, too.

The thing Im loving about hybrids this set (im also playing purple hybrid) is that theres so many ways to build it. Im using a yellow top end with venus, Valkyrie ace, cendrillmon and shadowseraphi ace. But Im tempted to mess around and take out a ace and put melga ace in as well to fill trash and steal turn too.

@9:18 What are you getting Overflow from? The stack looks like it's BT16 Silphymon, BT16 Gatomon, BT16 Salamon, BT16 Aquilamon, BT16 Salamon, and then the BT14 Koromon egg. Also, as a follow up, the reason that you would use Heir of Dragons instead of Fireball/Hero of the Skies is because of the security effect. Out of security, Heir will draw you 2 cards, but Fireball/Hero only adds itself, which means you would still have to play those to get your draws rather than just getting the draw straight from the security check of Heir.

8:44 the reason he didn’t swing here was because the Keramon effect is Opponents Turn only. So he has to hope you go into it somehow without removing the Keramon on your turn.

@6:45 you are describing the effect of the ex7 diaboromon. he had the ACE out. So that effect to pop triggers ALL TURNS when A digimon is played only by card effect, you can pop. It does NOT play a token. So if its the option playing out the agu the pop is still legal just not the token he played out The ex7 one whenever opp plays digimon (hard slam or by eff), trigger when digivole, which is to play a token (if you have ace up too then you can trigger pop)

he only needed armageddemon in hand and he could have easily gone over omnimon both times.

how would the flamemon benefit the build? yes, it digivolves over purple. yes, it searches hybrid and inherited tamers on play. But with the pure purple you can't digivolve over it. It would require agunimon or something..or not?

just in case you didn´t know, velgrmon doesnt have to delete itself with the end of attack, not even one of your digimon, you can turn your opponent´s digimon purple with duskmon then delete it with velgr´s end of attack to keep your stack, could have been useful in that game 1 turn 2

The level seven option doesn't work in purple hybrid. The option does not allow you to ignore digivolution requirements. This means you need 10 sources under your Tamer before you can use the option, which is absolutely impossible in purple hybrid

i do enjoy loweemon but i guess to make it balance, you gotta pay for cost when evo from the when attacking effect always enjoy any build with purple hybrid

Greymon SEC is such a flexible card. You can evo warp him for melga if gabumon is under him, or wargrey if is agumon. You can either evo him like Agumon -> Greymon -> Agumon -> Greymon -> etc for more draws. I would say if you can afford another copy, go for it.

Heir of Dragons is another option for a draw card. It's a 3 cost option instead of 2, but it allows you to always draw 2 cards unconditionally, whereas Fire Ball can whiff if they have a small body, and its security effect lets you draw 2 cards rather than just being added to hand like Fire Ball and Hero of the Skies. Additionally, Heir can also pop a 4k or less if you have a Greymon in name on the field.

Yep it would be called phoenixmon as that other name would be confusing as their are other bird decks such as xianpengmon

A buddy of mine was working on tuning Purple Hybrid and cut Boko completely. Says it only slows him down.

Dkm will never not run bt10 Nene she gives all your twilight digimon blocker and being able to delete her with bt19 dkm comes up way more than you'd think its also a free search everytime its hit out of security shes still our best tamer you cant run it less than 3 if you dont have a lkm on board youll never have blocker live

I'm with you on the bokomon. Gonna play Purple Hybrid tonight, I took out the Bokomon and added in two of the newer Level 5 Argomon. I might try a build closer to what you are doing. Right now I'm rolling with a more standard build. Pretty sure it's based on the deck recipe you keep mentioning. And yes the idea of cutting Matt Ishida is blasphemy.

I don't think it'd change the results, but Lordknightmon's effect to give anything Collision only affects digimon with as much or less DP than it. So I believe by the time Velgermon's attack goes through it no longer has Collision because it exceeds the DP threshold and so Lordknightmon should've lived.

Are there any purple hybrid builds that could focus on maybe a magnagarurumon top end instead of the dusk/velgr line? I’m moving into a new apartment and duskmon is a lil pricey at the moment 😂

I think purple hybrid has so much potential but people are just playing the boring lvl 4 rush variant. I like that you are actually cooking with the deck. Consider the loogamon build to play out Eijis for free.
