In one corner, normal-looking Brian armed with a mirror. He's torn his shirt off and smothered clay all over his body. He snarls, "Hey boss, I'm gonna kick your ass." In the other corner, we have spikey-haired Brian also armed with a mirror! He's identical in every way except for the palette swap. "I'm your worst nightmare, and incidentally, I'm my own too." That's right folks, we've got ourselves a mirror match.

The modern rouge is litteratly a hidden gem. It's soooooooooo good but not that many people know about it. I love how they focus on the little details. They always put a text showing the explanation behind things and something that no other channel does but they do, is everything they say, they always show a text saying the conversions. If they ever say "this cost me about 15 dollars" they show on the screen what fifteen dollars is in pesos, Euros, pounds, etc etc and they do the same thing with measurements.

This is the kind of content I really like to watch. As much as I like high-tech stuff like the WiFi Scanners, Email Phishing and Credit Card Skimmers, I love videos showing how to use the world around you to your advantage - I feel that is the heart of The Modern Rogue.
How about getting a little more in-depth with the whole survival topic? Maybe a mini-series covering the basics like how to locate water, how to build a basic A-frame shelter, how to stay hidden in urban and rural environments, etc.
Perhaps cover some early electronics such as how to improvise a quartz radio. Or recover some soon-to-be-lost skills like gold panning.

The US Army used a device called the heliograph for signalling in the 19th century. It works on the same principle, but from a tripod. Btw, Gen. MacArthur was certified as a heliograph operator at age 6. (It helps when your dad's a general.)

Have I mentioned lately that I love the ... um, countdown timer? the spin-down circle that shows up with text... usually I read the pop-ups fast enough, but sometime I get caught up in what's happening onscreen (or lost in your buttery voices) and forget to read the words -- it's nice knowing whether I've time to finish reading or if I should slap that spacebar

As a boy scout I participated is several attempts to communicate from mountain peak to mountain peak throughout Utah. Using the small mirrors like you have in this video we could see flashes 40 miles away (no clutter in the background.) With a 16" square mirror we were able to detect flashes 120 miles away. The Morse code we were attempting never did work out, but attracting attention and being able to locate someone from a great distance ... a mirror works very well, is discrete, and multi functional. Definitely suitable rogue gear.

Better method to use the signaling mirror is that holding the mirror in one hand close to one eye, looking through the hole in the middle, stretching forward the other hand and make a "V" shape with two fingers and then putting the target between those two fingers. This way you know that you are mirroring towards the target by seeing the reflection on your fingers which means the target between them is signalled.
