To clarify for those of you who think they might be miming. The keyboard parts were lifted off the studio tapes and a click track added (notice there is no keyboard player). This click track is fed to the drummer, which is why he's wearing headphones, so he can play in time to the backing track. All other instruments and vocals are live. A lot of the keyboard parts were played on Stephen Lipson's Synclavier and I doubt Propaganda could have afforded one..
Thanks for this! You helped me understand why the syth sounded just like the studio version, while all the other parts sounded different... though quite faithful to the recording.
