- Hopefully this will take up some time as you are all sitting in your homes from corona-virus ;)
... It certainly did for me!
Sorry it has been so long, school has taken up a ton of time! I made an algorithm for quantum computing that can factor a number in linear time (an improvement on Shor's algorithm!) so, I'll present that to you all soon when I finish my paper for publication.
Be safe, I'll see you all soon! ❤️
Also, special thanks to Brigham Young University for allowing me to use some of their optics equipment!

Glad Ur Back
Omg... missed this channel so much! Glad you're back. ^-^
"I made an algorithm for quantum computing that can factor a number in linear time (an improvement on Shor's algorithm!)"
Me sitting here thinking myself productive when I unlock a new vehicle in War Thunder
When I noticed that I have a notification in UA-cam and clicking it to find out that a video was uploaded from his channel:
Uwau!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-and I immediately clicked on it, of course!
Thank you for returning, I’ve done some of your projects before which are easy and cool!
*laughs in Atom interferometer*
You are a good teacher. A lot of teachers explain things in complicated terminology. For which many dont learn from. You explain it in the complicated way then explain the complicated explaination in a simplier way. I like your teaching method!!! Keep it up!!!
You need to do a collab with Styropyro.
good to see you back. How lovely of you to share possible future family plans. You should try what . and , does.
That moment when you see a new video on your feed from Applied Science, Alec Steel, Mark Rober, Numberphile, Tom Scott, smarterEveryDay, MrCarlsonsLab AND bicClivedotcom...
But you choose Keystone Science first
HE'S BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've missed this channels soooo much
actually yes you helped a lot, i honestly searched in the past quite a few info about building a michelson interferometer, but i always found too little or way too many informations (not really for a diy project), you managed to put the essentials to understand it, but not just the general concept that i hope everyone has (for example i had a bit of trouble with the optics part, and bam you pretty much explained practically everything i needed). GJ mate
Dude, welcome back, great to see new videos from you. Stay safe and healthy. 😷
I am so looking forward to the next video when you break P=/=nP with your quantum algorithm!
Great video! :D
Hey man. Glad your back! Dont stop making videos!
Welcome back!
I was never a subscriber but I came back to this channel many times. Well, now I am a subscriber.
Nice video 👌🏻✨ love the concept
Glad you are back.
Love your videos.
He's back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I binged his videos last week... Don't stop creating content!
Yooo....bois.....keystone .....is back..........🔥🔥🔥💥💥💥
made your pocket taser, and designed and 3d printed a awesome case for it. thanks
As alway an amazing video. Glad that you are back !
From experimentig on my own I found out that if you want to calculate the wavelength of a laser you are better off building a Lloyd interferometer. It is way easier since you dont need very precise lense equipment. I used the disk from an old HDD for the reflective surface!
Oh neato! Awesome to see another upload. Lovely
I'm glad you're back we've missed you man! I didn't understand much but still! I build circuits all day, I could build that laser but man this stuff was OUT of my depth. I feel like a babbling monkey next to this. I can't wait till the next video... please put it out 🙃
Glad you are back! Even though I can't hang with you in the depth of physics... I try. I love that you EXPLAIN it, not just do it.
I think of you just about every time I run the microwave. Ha! I think about your microwave gun. :)
btw, that's a handsome, monochromatic Albert Einstein portrait showing your artistic skills that complement the inner beauty of your mind.
TBH, I never thought I’d hear from you again... you know, your channel was the inspiration for my own back in the early days.
If I may deign to critique your video, your results could be much crisper if you used a gas laser (HeNe or somesuch) and put a spatial filter out front. Also, once upon a time when I recorded lasers, I found that bringing the camera exposure way down reveals more highlight detail.
Still, I liked it. Still up for making videos like the old days?
I'd really enjoy a electronics course taught by you.
I watched this video 5 times now and decided working out the matrix formulae compltetely will show something about how the time was changed on one of the reflections opposed to the lens focal point. Can’t wait for next week.
Great video, brother! Your girlfriend should be proud! 😉
Wow you are very good for physics plz involve in applied physics videos like this with such rich details and equations :)
♥💓🧡💘💖❤💜💜💕💓💙❣💝🖤🧡💜💞💗💜💝💓💚
glad to see ya uploading again.
you killed it with this vid. 👍
5:49 i didn't know about that step. great to know.
Other youtubers uses fancy lights and Mac books in background
He: hold my oscilloscope
Cool!! I really enjoyed the historical/theorical explanation, not very common in nowdays science videos
Glad to see you're still there
Man, am I ever glad you had some ABC's in there, because everything else seemed like math type stuff! 🤯
Oh, and your gf and parakeet are very cute, I hope she was sufficiently teased!
Pp Ss I get the feeling she was. 🙄🙄😂
Ah yes, laser make a bright. Very good. I understand that.
Keystone science is back!!!
Please make an electric egg and/or a Geissler Tube.
Cute bird, (very) thicc girl. Also, so excited you're posting videos again!!!
Now, can you glue a mirror on the window across the street and use this for eavesdropping?
Do some computer science related stuff! That would be so cool!
Yay a new Video!
2 things, 1. What exactly is an "Electron Volt" and how is it measured/used, 2. Why are batteries only Direct current and not Alternating current? Thank you.
Electrons are the smallest of the particles that make up an atom, and they carry a negative charge.
It is measured by the current they produced (electron charge)
Battery are DC, because for AC you would need a constant change of polarity (negative to positive) for the frequency that we normal use (50-60Hz). AC runs just like in the oscilloscope in this video goes above and below 0 (change of polarity). Batteries are Direct current (DC - electricity that flows in one direction, and does not switch back and forth) because we don't have to switch polarities.
so it's really completely fine, help
That’s going to be interesting .Right now I’m thinking all kinds of off stuff. Like does the light change colour over time which wouldn’t hammpen unless it had interference..same goes for reflection. It would be nice to see the formulae which I might have already but have forgotten
So, let's say I would like to replicate your experiment. Where do I get those fancy stands for your mirrors and the 50:50 beam splitter?
You're alive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The mmx can never work because the light would lose its extra speed on its way back from the mirror.
You could show gravitational waves with it though.
Awesome job man! If a teacher has failing students, the teacher is failing.
If a vehicle travels and teleports several miles to another location as in some military operations can you explain it? I bet you will be able to.
Great video as usual my man, also, cute birdie on your gfs head 👌
Nate can you explain what matter waves are? I have a hard time understanding how a particle can have wave nature, and what the wave actually represents
LiDAR would be a grate topic ties in with light and its becomeing more and more popular i want to make my own good one like the garmin to do some 3D Mapping with out splashing out
Hey buddy good video, can you make a video on some of your computer science projects.
Until I read the description I was gonna say he pulled a vihart
Was wondering if you where coming back. Now your buddy Tanner tech needs to get back already lol.
Hey, buddy, just so you know, I wrote the closed captions for this vid, if you want to approve them so other viewers can use them, that'd be awesome. 👍
Thanks so much! It’s approved, I’ll give you credit in the description :) ♥️
@@KeystoneScience Yay! You're welcome, sir. Thank you, it was a bit of work.
How come you never gave us an update on how much vacuum your fridge compressor is able to pull cuz I'm having some problems with my plasma chamber setup and I was wondering if I could use a small compressor tank on the compressor side two use as a sort of bypass and link up a another fridge compressor in Hook the vacuum side up to the other Inlet on that tank so bad the Pistons don't lock up would it be able to pull a stronger vacuum in series like that would it make more sense to put it in a parallel configuration we're talkin air connections not the electrical connections obviously
Welcome back
1:23 luminiferous, not luminous.
Imagine if the aether was luminous. Take a shroom, and you'll see.
Finally, some good fucking content! -Gordon Ramsay
Would you consider doing a video on chemical vapor deposition to create graphene?
Yes, I’ve been looking into that actually. Do you have sources you would recommend?
NEVER GOT a notification for this vid
In the end... the observer understand the reality of the observed state.
Could you make more videos more often? I liked it when you made videos more often a long time ago. Videos like the metal melter and the microwave gun.
(Recently Edited)
Also by "The thought.....
Cool!
Have you looked at OCT? Do it with multiple wavelengths!
T H I C C
Where were you bro ?!
The optics book can not be accessed by the link.
Yes!
hes alive
Where did you go! Come back
Love it
gorgeous girlfriend mate, congrats
Where? Did I miss something in the video?
Awesome
F... IS THE FOCAL LENTH obviously...
Clicked this first out of all my subs
Awesome you uploaded again happiest day on my life
Lets observe a theory of speed of light. Light is supposed to be constant🤔 ok, if light is constant does a person that run increase that speed?
13:44
Ah yes, finally
👍🏻
Exactly a week? ReEeEeEeE
In my opinion light does dissipate
Pennsylvania gang!
You seems better at explaining physics equations
Good video, but please slow down your pace. I normally watch videos at 1.5x and thought that's what was happening.
Notification Squad!!
THICCC. Also what's ur gf's major?
lol, she is a computer science major with an emphasis in bioinformatics :)
THICCC... nice girlfriend...
Every time I hear of dark matter I wonder if it will end up being this generation's ether...
13:45 hah your gf is "really thicc".
Tau > Pi
cool ! not sure you deserve that ;-)
Im not first
Im not last
But when keystone sience
Uploed a video
I clicked fast
I know i copied this comment
I paused on the "really thicc" and wasn't expecting to see your cute gf
7:42 jsyk "more simple things" means something different than what you intended to say by "simpler things". For some reason, the younger generation is afraid to use qualifiers. Probably cuz it adds one extra syllable to the word and the younger generations have difficulty with English comprehension, reading, and writing.
