Shug, I’ve been watching you for years and picked up backpacking because of you. Thank you! The world is a little better place because of you. Woooo buddy!!!
I keep thanking you for making these videos,.. I just don’t know what else to do :) these trips you’re filming and sharing are the gems of youtube. And I always enjoy them and I always scan for 13:07 :)
Shug, I'm kind of jealous. I'm sitting at home in Melbourne, Australia looking forward (not!) to 43C (~110F) days later this week. At least you can dress and eat well for cold weather. In the heat there's only so many layers you can peel off before the neighbours start complaining and the local constabulary come pay you a visit. Anyway, love what you continue to present. Keep up the good work.
Hey Shug. I have a gear questions for you. How can I email. I'm the Guy who had your cameo in my video about how to make a survival Lanyard. maybe you can email me through my "About" on my Channel.
@@shugemery Ok, will do. I have a Hennessey Hammock as I am sure you may as well. I do not like their cold weather system. Any suggestions as to what kind of under quilt would fit this one. The one I have is the Explorer and I want an under quilt that will withstand one of your Minnesota winters and keep me toasty warm. I know your gonna say you don't like to suggest one in particular but if you could point me in a good direction, I can take it from there. I'm also going to post this to your public comment if you don't mind and maybe someone who has the same hammock will join in. Thanks Shug Dennis... AKA... Canoehound.
