Ayana, if you are not sponsored by the NNA, you should be. This video was so clear, concise and broke down the process step by step. Thank you, thank you, thank you
This video was the clearest I have found. Filled out my app and completed my course in one day! National Notary Association owes you a check lol thanks bunches.
Yay!!! Thank you for this video! I just submitted my application to become a notary and this was super helpful to let me know what options are available to using the notary (loan signing, etc) and trainings. Thank you so much for this video ☺️
Hi Ayana. I’m thankful to have found your video. I’ve been wanting to do this for a while and eventually become a signing agent. I was a notary in Georgia but the process is so different here in Florida. I’d love to have a conversation with you about the process. I don’t mind doing the work I just want to make sure I’m doing this correctly.
This video is so informative. Thank you for this information however I wish I would’ve been interested last year because the complete notary package is now $221 😂 but I gotta invest in myself.. I hope this comes through for me cause whew 😅
Thank you so much I got my notary a couple of years ago and I’ve been kind of lost how to make money from it. I really want to loan signing and had no idea where to begin
What drew me to this video is you're gorgeousness but I needed this information so badly. I was not able to find anyone who was a notary in Florida and I'm trying to get my up here in Jacksonville. Thank you so much for this information even a year or so later 😁😁
Finally someone in Florida and The Tampa Bay Area!! I’ve been a notary for a few years now and just recently started considering becoming a signing agent. Is it really worth it and did you already have ties to the home buying industry/financial institution?
Thank you l was considering going through the National Notary association. But I was scared it could be a scam. Now, that l know more about it. I'll be going through them.
Finally I’ve found a central Florida notary. Your video us very informative and accurate. I completed my notary course last week just waiting to receive my certificate in the mail and the rest of my stamps/errors and omissions documents. I plan on going as far as international notary. I will be definitely be watching and following for future videos/websites
A loan signing agent is just a notary that is trained to do loan closings. There are no two positions. You are always a notary. And you should have E&O not matter what.
Actually Florida does not legally require the use of a notary journal as of the writing of this in 2022. Though its HIGHLY recommended you have and use one.
Hi Crafty. I’m not sure if you are aware but the 3 hour course is free from the state of Florida. The NNA and companies like them bank on you not knowing.
I do know it is free. I said it in one of my videos. The thing is you still need a bond and E&O to apply. Also, the NNA submits the application electronically. Of course you can do it all on your own, but they offer for convenience of one stop. Thanks for watching! 🙂
Thank you so much for your video. I am considering becoming a notary public and really appreciate the insights you provide here. Is there any reason to set up a LLC for your notary business?
Yes, to completely separate yourself from the business. However, it is a personal preference as the tax structure is the same as a sole proprietor unless you become and S-Corp. The latter shouldn’t even be considered until you are making about $40K per year.
I really enjoyed your video, you did excellent! I did subscribe and I definitely will be following you, to learn more, in order to proceed. What if I get my certification and then get married, do I change my name? Thanks.
You check with the state to see if it is being used. If you will be a sole proprietor you will need a DBA. Check out my website for coaching if you need more help on this.
If an in-person loan signing agent makes between $75-$209 per appointment……….. How much would a remote online notary loan signing agent make per loan signing online??? Is it less or the same??
Florida's maximum is $10 PER STAMP. And there are no laws pertaining to travel fees. Most mobile notaries charge per stamp as well as a travel fee. Loan signings are different because you are contracted and therefore paid a flat fee.
hi i love your videos they are extremely helpful. I have taken the course and in the process of completing my application for florida notary. im at the part for affidavit of character. i dont know many people and need it signed. it states that the person has to be unrelated. do you know if this excludes your spouse? hes technically not related to me but i know certain documents cannot involve spouse. thanks for any info you can provide
Hi I would like to start the process of becoming a Notary. But I wanted to know how long did this whole process take to be completed? Did it take a long time for California to mail back your information?
It took about 2 weeks I believe. The NNA submits your application electronically I think. Then the State mails it to CA and then they send it to you with your stamp.
Hello hope all is well , you mentioned when you needed a witness , you didn’t know anybody are you new to Florida only asking because I’m looking to move to Florida within a year
Hello ayana! (Hopefully I spelled that right) I became a notary In March and am having no luck getting signings. I have all of my credentials updated and my ranking is supposedly high. Is there anything I'm doing wrong or that I should do please get back to me when you can. Thank you.
Hi Ayana. Just completed the 3 hour course & ran across your video. Am I still able to use the NNA or am I able to file the paperwork on my own. Who do I submit the paperwork to? What do you suggest at this point.

This video is so informative. Thank you for this information however I wish I would’ve been interested last year because the complete notary package is now $221 😂 but I gotta invest in myself.. I hope this comes through for me cause whew 😅
Just make sure you know why you are doing it. It could take some time to recoup the cost to become a notary and LSA.
You are excellent at explaining the process, thank you so much
This video was incredibly helpful and informative. Thank you so much since I’m considering on pursuing this.

Hi! It is worth it if you put the work in just like anything else. And yes, I am a FL Real Estate Broker as well.
So eloquently spoken, well versed. You helped me out alot
Wow. Excellent. Thank you. You must be a teacher. Very clear, succinct and really clear explanation about the process.

Very helpful information..... thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
I just received my stamp from the NNA, I only purchased the bond… I want to become a LSA. Am I purchasing E&O once for both positions?
A loan signing agent is just a notary that is trained to do loan closings. There are no two positions. You are always a notary.
And you should have E&O not matter what.
How much is the Shurity bond, out of curiosity? Is there any circumstance where it can be bypassed?
I do not remember the cost, you pay once for 4 years. It cannot be bypassed, it is required by the State of FL.
I just started my journey 🤞🏾
Congratulations!
I’m doing my class today
I finished it
This was really informative, thank you!
Great video, and thank u for replying 2 your comments.
Thanks for watching!
You are awesome!! Answered every single one of my questions perfectly! Thank you🥇
Thank you!
Loved your video, it was very helpful and your explanation was great. I am just wondering how difficult is the test at the end of the training?
Not hard at all, as long as you get the information.
Thank you for this video & I hope I pass my exam
Good Evening so excited to start my journey,🥰your notary seal stamp case very cute where can I purchase? The same grip stamp
I made the case (the fabric one). Hi!!!
Wait, so I have to spend all that money and take the classes then take the test only not to know if you will be accepted by the state of Florida?
Well...yes. However, if you know you have something that could prevent you from being approved, maybe call first.
Hello i am in the Tampa Bay area i have done the the free 3 hour class and passed the exam what do i do next ? Thanks
Submit your application, get your bond, and e&o insurance. Check out NNA's website
@@TheCraftyNotary Thank you i will that this week
My wife and I are thinking about doing this in Florida too. Especially in our new housing development and area.
Go for it!
Thank you ❤

Can you create a check list for each one of these options please?
It’s already online via the NNA website if those are the options you are talking about…
Excellent video! Thank you for the helpful information.
Thanks for watching and subscribing!
Thank you for your video it was very informative.
Thank you for the info! Very clear and precise.
Do we need a business name?
Thank you so much for your video. I am considering becoming a notary public and really appreciate the insights you provide here.

If you will legally use the new name, yes.
Hello, I have a commission certificate now I want to open my Notary Business. If I come up with a name, do I patent it or just use the name?
You check with the state to see if it is being used. If you will be a sole proprietor you will need a DBA. Check out my website for coaching if you need more help on this.
If an in-person loan signing agent makes between $75-$209 per appointment………..
How much would a remote online notary loan signing agent make per loan signing online???
Is it less or the same??
Not very many loan signings are online yet. I’ve only had two so far. They paid around the same as the others.
Hi I have a question. Do you have to have an LLC to be a LSA? Or are you an independent contractor?
What's the story about Florida only allowing a $10 charge...?
Florida's maximum is $10 PER STAMP. And there are no laws pertaining to travel fees. Most mobile notaries charge per stamp as well as a travel fee. Loan signings are different because you are contracted and therefore paid a flat fee.
$10 per notarial act but you can charge a travel and booking fee (must be reasonable)
Do you have to pay bond up front how does that work
Yes you do. It is a part of the package from NNA.
Do you actually use a notary journal since it's not required in florida?
Yes I do. I’ve heard stories of legal situations where there was no journal. I don’t require the fingerprint, but I have everyone sign the journal.

My husband can be my affidavit?
Your husband cannot sign. I don't know many people either, but ended up using my husband's ex-wife. 🙂 I was prepared to ask a coworker too.
@@TheCraftyNotary thanks for responding.
Thank you so much for this video. i have a quick question, can a notary notarize her own documents in the state of Florida?
No. Not can you notarize immediate family.
What is the name of the STATE website?
Sunbiz

Hi! I have a list of SS you can get by signing up at my website. I'll do a video on this too!
Hi Ayana. Just completed the 3 hour course & ran across your video. Am I still able to use the NNA or am I able to file the paperwork on my own. Who do I submit the paperwork to? What do you suggest at this point.
Maybe try calling NNA and asking if you can still choose a package.
May I ask where are you located in Florida
