- It's another edition of McDonald's collecting on the road. This time, I'll take you along for a couple of stops in Missouri to unearth rare items like a 1964 Halloween Bag, a 1967 Jack-O-Lantern, a set of Super Mario Bros 3 ceiling dangler signs and tons of Happy Meal boxes and toys!
So cool, I had never even heard of Archy McDonald! And those Mac Tonight fry boxes, truly legendary!
Yeah, I think I'm an Archy collector now, since it's such a small group of stuff and probably pretty attainable. And yes, always great to find another Mac Tonight fry container.
The 1994 Hardees basketball display is awesome. I have one of the basketballs and it features logos for all of the ACC teams at the time. They also sold balls for other college basketball conferences as well, such as the Big Ten.
Very cool, but you can't have the basketball without that sweet hoop. Haha.
What an absolutely jam packed video. 1994 will forever be my favorite year, and that pog set was nuts. Super cool that you came upon all this.
Happy birthday, man!
@@ConsumerTimeCapsule Thanks so much!
heyyy! your videos are amazing, im located in brazil and theres so many cool stuff that never made here... im appalled every video with new ideas for my clients and stuff i want to make. the pog collection was my highlight this time! please keep posting!
Since I quit drinking last year I've been going through all my old hoarded pictures and collectibles and putting them on display around my house lol! I find myself thinking of this channel whenever I frame and hang an old comic book or trading cards from the 80s and 90s! This makes me want to try to grab some late 80s McDonald's stuff whenever I can afford to add it to my collection! I would have to get at least one BK Kids Club item in there too lol
You solved a mystery for me. I had a memory that my friend had a Seaworld plush happy meal that I wanted as my own. I never got one, but all these years I thought misremembered their existence. Turns out,i was right ! it was a regional toy and I’ve simply never saw them for sale online. Nice to know someone has them. 3:14
Archy McDonald is probably the Most forgotten McDonald’s mascot, I’ve honestly seen more Speedee Advertising than I have Archy.
Yeah, I think I need to start an Archy collection now. Haha.
Oh man! Glad to see you are back! It crazy how much can change in just a few months. From the time you took your hiatus to the time you came back I have gotten married, had a son, and moved to a different city. Glad to see you are back. I would love to see some old review style videos come back or at least some videos working with Ryan, but I love the new direction too. When I go to the store and see some crazy new products I always find myself wondering if you have picked it up for your collection
Just bought my first translite. They are pretty rare here in the Netherlands.
Any plans to make a book? A hardback of every happy meal box scanned at full size, with its toy photographed, would be ideal. I wonder how many pages that'd be... maybe 10 volumes worth of hardbacks... ❤
I know I wouldn't be the only customer 🙏
Where did you go? Your videos were great...
IG and Twitter: @consumertc - I post stuff from my collection twice a day. I just didn't have the time to make videos like this for the view count. I really appreciate the kind words, though.
How do you keep track of what you have and what you still need in your collection? Also that pot display case was awesome!
I keep an inventory of everything I have and everything that I know I need, but I'm pretty solid at remembering it off the top of my head anyway.
welcome back bobby
Thanks, Zack! I'm still here, just not as active on UA-cam as I used to be - still posting daily on Twitter and IG, though!
Sorry for that late comment. I have a cool star market 1985 coca cola bottle celebrating the anniversary of star market. have you seen that before? It was bottled in Ma right off of 128 (95)
