Mom’s Rich and Creamy Vermicelli Cake

- This is popular during Eid in my household I feel like if it’s not on our dessert table something is missing ❤️
Ingredients
1 Pk 2.5 oz (75g) Vermicelli noodles
1 Can evaporated milk
1 Can condensed milk
1 Cup heavy cream
2 Cups whole milk
2 1/2 Cups white sugar
3 Tbs butter
5 Cloves
1 Cinnamon stick
1/2 Tsp nutmeg
2 Tbs custard powder
2 Eggs beaten ( optional)
1/2 Cup banana soda
1/2 Cup cherry
1/2 Cup Raisin
1 Tsp mixed essence
2-3 Cups of hot water

So I'm new to preping for my own family since I've been working all the time and thanks to my husband I don't have to work anymore 😊so I got a chance to start my own traditions and do my own thing. I decided to follow on ur recipes and I've never been so proud of myself you're very helpful and every step I follow it was a success and now I'm excited for hubby to come home to my kitchen filled with everything we normally expect from other people on Eid day 😂. Very very DELICIOUS indeed one little tip I was told is to rinse and soak raisins or currants after R nsr in hot water for a few minutes until raisins and or currants get plump Ash yu are a Merry Soul keep it up stay loved and keep blessed

V Foo the soda is used for the flavor and color, u can use the cream soda if u like but it’s not necessary

Hi ash I have a question.. I made vermicelli countless times but it never set it’s always loose when I’m cutting. I even tried more to add more baking powder but girl 🤷♀️. If you can tell me how many tbs of baking powder to a pack of vermicelli please and thank you
Baking powder? I’m assuming you meant custard powder? If so for 1 Pk of vermicelli noodles (12Oz) I will add 4tbsp of custard powder hope this was helpful 🥰

It’s just for the flavor so I would say yes
What is the heavy cream ?Can it be substituted
Yes , u can add more carnation instead of heavy cream , Heavy Cream is the thick, fat-rich part of milk, which rises to the top when milk is fresh and is skimmed off. The type of cream is determined by its fat content.
