I started the series caring about learning poker and I ended the series caring about who's going to win the big tournament. What happened to me?

Hi Avi, I have one question about Daniel's video:
I understood that he intentionally guessed wrong the opponent cards, but I feel confused about that. Because AQ would've also beaten him, cuz he has AJ, so what was the strategy there?
It looks like that if he would've guessed the 55, the opponent would think that Daniel is better than him cuz he's moving all in with the knowledge that the opponent has 55.
Did I get something wrong? Or it's just too way of mind games that we'll ever understand? Thank you (-:

Alec would play AQ differently to 55, they are very different hands. If Alec thinks Daniel thinks he has AQ, Alec is more, likely to not play as if he had AQ. If Daniel guessed 55 to begin with, Alec would play as if he didn't have 55, which would put Dan in the dark, by guessing AQ, he trapped Alec into avoiding playing like he had an Ace+x hand, and more like a pocket pair, which he has, that's how Dan guessed
