Spanian I love your content man, you provide good insights, or atleast you used to, on these areas. Now, these into the hood videos have turned into eshay meetups, seemingly every single video. Is it possible you can just show the areas without telling your fans before hand or something so we can actually see what the neighbourhood looks like without the influence of youtubers.
Not controversial I agree it's just a bunch of annoying eshays now. Compare this to the airds and claymore one which is so much more informative. These recent eshay meets are just getting loud annoying... there is a reason no one likes Eshays.
I dislike that Spanian is going to these sorts of places knowing his presence is going to stir it up. It's irresponsible and someone is going to get hurt or killed.
I'm starting to think that, no matter how much Spanian talks about the negatives of life on the streets, these kids don't view his videos like that. They still think it looks cool and are being influenced
What about the victims of crime? Where are their voices? The kids getting assaulted or stabbed up over street beef, the disadvanted families trying to raise kids getting their houses and cars broken in to. These gronks don't deserve all this hype

There is a very big difference between Logan Central, Woodridge or Kingston, and other areas of Logan city. You wouldn’t caught me dead in that part. The murder of the old lady mentioned was the mother of a close friend of mine. That story is wild in itself, the group of kids were all repeat offenders out on bail, stabbed her in front of her 6yr old granddaughter who is the daughter of my friend. The kids killed her and stole her car, travelled 10mins and ditched the car. It was so senseless and that was in a newer and more “respectful” suburb. The youth crime issue is just getting completely out of control. Suburbs that used to be “safe” are now fearful. It’s wild.

As a teacher in Logan, youtubers like this have the opportunity to be such a positive influence. Wish these videos were utilised more to encourage these people and get them off a path of bad habits and addiction, as opposed to celebrating the hood culture.

Some people can't help their failures and circumstances, which I understand, and a lot of them fight their way out of it. But some people embrace their failure as some kind of badge of honour. Logan is like old Germany. There is a Berlin wall running down the middle of it called the M1 highway. On one side you have Woodridge, Logan Central, Marsden etc with the low-income housing and Centrelink office. On the other side of the wall, you have Springwood, Rochedale South, and Daisy Hill with million-dollar houses, well-kept parks and facilities.

The killing of the Grandma, Vyleen White, was in Redbank. After she finished her shopping at woolies with her granddaughter, a group of guys tried to rob her car. One of them ended up stabbing her to death in front of her granddaughter. I think all were caught but they were all around 15 years old. The one who stabbed her was also on bail for armed robbery offences. This area (Springfield and surrounds) isn’t known to be one of the worser but this murder hit so close to home and really shocked the community.

Used to like spanion and his content. I found him genuine and entertaining. Now his videos have turned into a circus. I'm sure he is doing this on purpose to increase his notoriety. Hopefully if this continues no one will get seriously injured especially from someone losing control of there car doing burnouts. My opinion doesn't count for much but it's my honest opinion. Of course when you go to an area now they are all over emblemishing their hood. All these suburbs aren't as bad as they are portrayed but I'm sure this is all good for your you tube views. I grew up in the poorest household you can imagine BUT I was able to be VERY successful in life because I was instilled with morals and a good work ethic. honestly i started watching his videos because it showed the true life of people who lived in these areas and the struggles they had been through and overcome, now its way different and not something I wanna support.
Logan is a low socio-economically diverse community but its not the cheapest area to live, rather, it's more expensive than most areas. Fuel, groceries, land rates and rent is more expensive in comparison to the rest of the suburbs surrounding Brisbane.

I grew up in Logan, use to ride bmx and saw it all at skateparks over the years. But it’s nothing like this, crazy part is Woodridge skatepark was safer at night than it was during the day.
Car theft is the big one I’d imagine. I live south Brisbane and I had an apprentice in Woodridge. Left my car at his house to pick up the new work car up with him . Some prick yanked my 33” tyre off the back of my car within 3 hours 😂 If there’s shootings , they’re definitely barely on the news.

I'm an American living in Australia and moving to Brisbane. I find it helpful that he points out the bad places to avoid but disappointed that he doesn't use his influence to promote better living and lifestyle. Not cool man.
Logan City has over 70 suburbs covering 960sqkm. There are lots of area's in Logan nothing like what he showed here. This was mainly Woodridge(Logan Central) Kingston Marsden and little bit of Waterford West/Loganlea.
He is bringing light to the way of life the youth lives and how much the government needs to focus on the youth in places like this because at the end of the day, for these people jobs and houses are harder to get due to the area you live or the colour of your skin so the youth have no choice but to loiter and hang in large groups teaching themselves on the street to survive

Thinking back to those earlier eps where it was just Span and one or two locals showing actual daily life in the areas… what a difference (for the absolute worst!) It was the genuine experience, like you were there, the realness of the handful of locals etc. that made into the hood what it got its following for. We don’t need a caricature of the alleged “residents” and embellished stories and peacocking. The murder of the old lady mentioned was the mother of a close friend of mine. That story is wild in itself, the group of kids were all repeat offenders out on bail, stabbed her in front of her 6yr old granddaughter who is the daughter of my friend. The kids killed her and stole her car, travelled 10mins and ditched the car. It was so senseless and that was in a newer and more “respectful” suburb. One of them ended up stabbing her to death in front of her granddaughter. I think all were caught but they were all around 15 years old. The one who stabbed her was also on bail for armed robbery offences. This area (Springfield and surrounds) isn’t known to be one of the worser but this murder hit so close to home and really shocked the community.

honestly i started watching his videos because it showed the true life of people who lived in these areas and the struggles they had been through and overcome, now its way different and not something I wanna support.
Logan is a low socio-economically diverse community but its not the cheapest area to live, rather, it's more expensive than most areas. Fuel, groceries, land rates and rent is more expensive in comparison to the rest of the suburbs surrounding Brisbane.

Logan City has over 70 suburbs covering 960sqkm. There are lots of area's in Logan nothing like what he showed here. This was mainly Woodridge(Logan Central) Kingston Marsden and little bit of Waterford West/Loganlea.
