I really relate with you for VARC thingy... I too score lowest there.. Despite low scores, i still don't practice VA RC that much
Omg same I just be sad because I can't solve it no practice 🤣🤣
Varc and dilr is all about practice there no syllabus completion and quants is all about completing syllabus and then practicing moderate to hard level questions...
For varc I would suggest to give priority to rcs because they hold most of marks and to get the correct option you have to just identify the trap in every option and you will end up with two options and then you have to Select the most appropriate option for the question and don't read rc word to word try skimming skipping and scanning, it's best because you have only 40 min in every section this was my first attempt this year unfortunately I couldn't made-up to my expectations but I'll try again
I have 3 years gap and going to give cat this year. I am quite stressed about how this long gap is going to affect my chances of clearing the interviews....You are quite dedicated towards yours preparation, best of luck 👍

I got 90%ile last year , (VARC got F...ed up due to anxiety of server issue our exam started late) I would suggest you to take some banking exams like sbi, ibps to have the real in-exam feel. Also in real exam they would give you a small sized booklet so be prepared for that. I got IIM amritsar but I am doing a govt job rn and still I get the feeling of starting a small shop lol
Ohh but acc to me 90% is good but you got into gov job that is so good too , last year I went to give the exam to know about the feels with 0 preparation and the same thing happened like the exam started but i got to start after 5 mins because there was problem with their server and it wouldn't click mu picture so i panicked so much and varc i couldn't do anything lol but ofc i had no preparation back then
You could definitely start a small businesses if not in a store maybe online just start it how would you know it will work or not if you don't start like I started this channel and nobody knows about it 😅

learn elimination techniques in rc's , they'll help you figure out the wrong options.
i have tried it but it feels all are correct or all could be eliminated at this point i just need to give a lot of mocks and analyze it

Hi if you are struggling in Varc, avoid reading newspaper. Wont help you didnt help me. Give as much mocks and sectionals as you can and learn the process of elimination. The options which has been created by the exam setter are made to confuse you. Good sounding thoughts but which has nothing to do with what Author is sayng. Give sectionals or PYQ and analyse your mistakes. Newspaper reading only helps in improvng RC reading speed nothing more

honestly i started my prep just recently despite having ample of time and i have given up on IIMs so even if i get a decent tier 2 college i will be happy :')
Yk what i feel is some people dream to be in IIMs and they study hard and we shouldn't compare ourselves with them plus IIM is not the end of the world just do whatever you want to and be happy but one thing is don't be lazy explore and do lots of things 🤗

Everyone finds lrdi difficult but you know in exam there is one easy set but you have to find out which one and solve that if you can do 1 set with 100% accuracy and 1 more from another set ig it will make a cut off of 80 percent

i think if you find quants a little difficult then just do arithmetic 11 qs will come from there right , so just do the basics very nicely because all the questions will be logic and formula driven and not much calculations , you can solve last 5yrs and just practice ig

i am taking studdybuzz mocktest you can go for it or career launcher or byjus they are pretty good, and for mocks its bad i am bad at varc my accuracy is bad and for quants i am leaving geometry
@isprecious1310 Hi, Maybe Ketan sir's VARC course can be of some help to get better at varc. Atleast enough to clear cutoff. You can refer his channel C2C Mentors for free/sample videos and see if you understand and catch his way of teaching. It's very different that usual and something unheard. If you want any kind of review/ honest feedback or have any queries Let me know coz I have enrolled for his course, so I can help with insights and stuff. Hope you do well !

@isprecious1310 I'm not a fan of reading newspapers for VARC, but it'll be good for anyone who is preparing for exams to give weightage to gk. Personally, I'm not going for such exams much. Thus, I'm focusing on sources like Aeon, editorials, articles, and journals only. But again, reading each and every line will not help as much now coz we are just left with 70ish days.
In case, if you want some notes from his classes, let me know - will send some material/content that will help.

I studied from a lot of UA-cam channels if you ask me for lrdi ( catking, studdybuzz, c2cmentor, 2iim ) but I feel that lrdi can be only done by practice and see the answer and how they have tried to solve I mean what is the approach and all

@@somumishra02 umm see if you graduated this year it means you have taken a drop year already but that doesn't matter at all in the selection process and again if you attempt next year then they might ask what was the reason if you give them a valid reason then it's absolutely okay no issues
