Interesting talk about gearing, I recently got a Ti-Fly X with the new Bosch motor system and a Rohloff hub and I find the 38t chainring up front to be a bit too small for my taste. I'm spinning out at just under 25 mph and want a touch more top end mostly because I find I'm not using the lower gears (4-7) that much. I've already been on the toughest climbs I'm likely to do and had no issues getting up them so losing some climbing performance shouldn't be an issue. Talked to Azub and they are sending me a 42t ring and also a rear cog that's one tooth smaller (15 vs current 16) so I hope to find a decent combo that works a touch better. Love your videos.
@OtterFlash very spot on about the Ti Fly X. i guess the set up depends on how you ride. my set up on the X is the same as yours but i have the shamino ep 801. the reason i chose this setup is because a do alot of off road riding and ruff terrain with X
@@pitmastertoby2598 I love the fact that you have three trikes and are looking for a fourth LoL but I've only got room for one and I think the Azub is the best compromise for me. I was very pleased with the comfort on a washboard dirt road, much better than I thought it would be so if I could get a touch more speed I'll be set
@OtterFlash absolutely the X is very comfortable. What kind of tires are you running? i have the GT 365 which is a very aggressive tire so my speed is reduce a little.
@OtterFlash how do you like the new Bosch system, do you have the dual battery set up? That’s a pricey set up if you do over 13k at least, if not more idk if you got the electronic rohloff or not.
Wow thinking of a velo id love to see you in one of those, they don’t have one for my size lol but I’m fine with that.
they do .the Milan GT MK7 is for bigger people up 268lb and up 6'8 in height. thats the one im looking at
A velomobile in your future??? Your working on a FLEET!!😊 Will Angletech work on it?
@outandaboutontherecumbents i actually talk to them on Friday. yes the work on and can order a velomobile for me
