Unity for sure. My favourite AC game. It makes you feel like an assassin. The parkour and the crowd systems. The story isn’t amazing but bro the setting. holy
Ghost Recon Breakpoint. The game was broken at launch but Ubisoft eventually made it my dream tactical shooter.
Agree. The game was awful at launch but Ubisoft fixed the issues and added so much free content that is overwhelming. Every year I come back to this game and I'm still having a blast.
Same. My only gripe with the game anymore is the setting. Gameplay wise I think it’s fantastic
Was a top player in the multiplayer aspect breakpoint is great
Yes dude! I loved that game, played wild lands after and it just wasn't the same, but it definitely had the better story, but breakpoints gameplay was very fun, reminded me a lot of mgsv. I'll always take a tactical shooter sandbox any day.
That was my immediate thought. I'd still prefer abseiling instead of Just Causing it off every cliff and I'd like the MGS5 thing of planning missions and setting points to be picked up from but aside from that it's probably the best game like that I've played since the Conflict Desert Storm games. But I feel anyone who's played the new version likes it though so I don't know if it really counts. It's like Cyberpunk worked fine for me. I certainly had less bugs than The Witcher 3, so I could have said that but again I feel people who went back to it, certainly after Phantom Liberty like it so it probably doesn't count now
I bought Unity at launch and only remember getting one bug. I do think the dragging it got was overblown
Wait, people don't like Days Gone?? I haven't played much yet but I love it so far. Sam Witwer is just awesome.
Amazing game
Not sure if this counts due to the comeback, but mine would be Cyberpunk 2077
Total War Attila
This un-optimized title released between the trainwreck that was Rome2 & the first TW fantasy in Warhammer1 never got the love it deserved. Most just forgot and disregarded it completely (including CA) despite having some of the best battle-mechanics in the series.
Digimon Survive.
people call it a visual novel and passed on it but it's more like 60% visual novel 40% tactical RPG
Callisto Protocol. I hated the game at launch but I came back the last year and I had a blast. The dlc on the other hand sucks, It's very repetitive and mess a lot with the main story
I played it for the first time on PC not long ago and had no issues. Even though I really enjoyed it, I’ll admit it has its flaws, the inventory is too small, some sections feel repetitive, there are no camera settings, and the combat is a bit clunky but you get used to it, other than that I think it's a solid game!
@Lampoil7 Everyone said it was bad at launch because it was full of bugs and glitches. The game is aprox. 10 hours long in normal difficulty. I played in hard difficulty it takes a few more hours. Even being a short game for its current price is totally worth it.
Mass Effect: Andromeda
I played a few months after launch, and didn't have a single glitch, great game.
Yeah, it's a decent action RPG, not incredible but a solid 7/10. Overall the game received a lot of hate because of its crappy launch but now it's mostly fixed and quite underrated.
For me it’s bad AI, I can’t stand the dumb storm troopers in outlaws. Single player games should feel like a world and outright dumb whacky NPCs are immersion breaking
I wouldn’t even mind them so much if 1 of our only 2 choices of dealing with them wasn’t pummeling them in the helmet with fisticuffs. Can’t get a single stealth gadget in a game set in the very distant fictional future?
@@coreyveggies9894it’s a multi layered disaster in case of Ubisoft.
It was relatively bad to other games at the time. But when I played Odyssey it had no competition. The reason why these games are looking good is the games coming out now are worse.
Anthem. I really enjoyed my experience with it for the two years I played it.
Edit. Also, COD Ghosts.
The Last of Us Part II and Starfield.
TLOUII's gunplay and generally the gameplay is mechanically inch-perfect. The shooting and stealth in that game was straight POLISHED. Hadn't had that experience since MGS5 and Ghost Recon Wildlands.
As for Starfield, I love it for one reason and one reason only: Starvival.
Part II is masterpiece. There is not a single game out there that is polished to perfection as much as II is.
Medal of Honor (2010 video game), its was t the end of the framchise. Game had alot of problems. But i just loved that game, specialy one mission, it was on the side of the moutain, you and your team got ambushefd from all sides, only small bulding to cover, and some stone walls, at the end of the ambush, ther was nothing left from that bulding etc. great mission.
Anthem. Well, part of it. The combat and traversal can be so much fun. What a shame it had so many development issues, truly had potential.
Microtransactions
@oisinom697 Guess you skipped GTAV, Fortnite, and most every game since Oblivion.
Anthem has some cosmetics, but they can be earned through in-game currency, and they're completely unnecessary.
I always say this. Anthem was so good conceptually. The suits, flight, & feel of it are unmatched. Such a shame they abandoned it, but hopefully that foundation will be used for something better in the future
The Last of Us Part II. It's a masterpiece.
The idea for Order 1886 is so fucking cool, but it's done in a mediocre way, but unless we had Bloodborne, which is almost the same idea
Biomutant. Super fun open world mayhem. Looks like poop even on PS5 but just so entertaining and good natured game I love it.
Deathloop is mine.
Starfield for me
blood omen 2 back in the day, also ac odyssey and cod mw 2019 more recent ones
MW 2019 isn’t really seen as a bad game, it is regarded as a pretty good game and brought back COD by the general public. The only people who think it’s bad are just the very hardcore COD players
Call of Duty Infinite Warfare, Vanguard, WWII and MWIII, Saints Row 4, Battlefield 2042 (after the fixes and content), Life Is Strange Double Exposure, Resident Evil 6.
The infinite Warfare campaign is one of the most underrated first person shooter campaigns ever
@@bingusdingus39 same with zombies in spaceland
I liked Kingdoms of Amalur alot. Fun combat.
😏 Starfield. Catch a smile out there. o7
Watch dogs, I love the game so much that I wanted it more, I found a tv series kinda similar its called Person of Interest✌
Deathloop
Mine is Andromeda 😬 go easy on me please lol
Dynasty Warriors Strikeforce for me
wasnt odyssey like 86 on metacritic, i think that game was never considered bad...not by gamers nor critics...my pick would have to be terminator resistance...
Ryse Son of Rome, Rogue Warrior is hilarious and Kane and Lynch 2.
Mass Effect: Andromeda is one for me.
The last of us 2 is the game that some people say it needs to be put in a museum, and others say its the worst game ever created. These 2 groups just clash hard since both are so pasionate about TLOU series in different ways with completly opposing views.
It’s definitely one of the most divisive games of all time. Even the reviewers had completely opposite opinions on the game when normally they all have similar takes.
Kingdom Hearts as a whole for me, but specifically 3 I think gets OVER hated.
I liked Starfield. 😀 It's not an exceptional game, but it was good enough for me as a relax-after-work game. I the criticism, but things like loading screens or not being able to leave the fish bowl didn't bother me at all. I'm used to BGS games with loading screens. Other SciFi games being better also doesn't really concern me, because I played Starfield, primarily for the relaxing BGS gameplay style, not for the SciFi stuff. If anything, it being a SciFi game weighed against it, because I'm not into SciFi. For me, Starfield is a BGS style game that happened to be SciFi, not a SciFi game and I'm ok with that. I didn't get the DLC though.
Let's be completely honest. 90% of games are overhated because internet is such a disgusting toxic place full of blind hate. Naughty Dog definitely does not deserve the hate it's getting. Not even Ubisoft. Yeah, they do nothing to push industry forward, but i see nothing wrong in people enjoying their games.
But to stay on topic. I really liked Mafia 3. It had great atmosphere, fun driving, fun shooting, great music, those 5 story missions the game had were solid! Once you kinda grew into the gameplay loop it was simply a lot of fun.
Naughty Dog deserved the hate for The Last Of Us 2’s story. Not death threat level, but hate.
I guess we are allowed to have opinions. To me Part II story is the best story in videogames. Period! I can't name game that had me invested and immersed in characters like Part II. Not even remotely. 5 years laters i still think about it.
@ fair I respect your opinion. For me I just couldn’t sympathize with Abbey as a character and the pacing was thrown off by the split perspective. I could’ve stomached all of it if Ellie hadn’t fucking spared Abby at the end of the game after killing dozens.
@@jakubzamazal Having an opinion doesn't mean we throw objectivity out of the window.
Ubisoft is collapsing because their games are recicled and uninspired repetitive filler, that's why players hates on them.
Almost every Ubisoft open world after Far Cry 3 is a copy paste of Far cry 3, not to mention Skull and Bones, the first AAAA videogame...
Ohh i agree. Ubisoft games are shit. What i meant is more like people will focus their time into negativity and hate towards something they don't like instead of sending love and positivity towards the shit they love.
For me, it was gotham knights. Not because it was stellar, but it was fun to run around with a friend as part of the bat family, and there was an opportunity for DLC to introduce more characters and villains for a while, but it's such a whirlwind of half cocked ideas, I see why people bashed it when it came out
Is it 60fps yet or still 30?
Ain’t no renaissance for odyssey! The other yeah but odyssey u trippin
FIFA games.
