the factory rear suspension was so bad in mine when I picked it up. Literally bounced for a good 5-8 secs after every speed hump. Sorted now. Got some TSD coil overs with camber arm setup and some new rims. On paper these were 280HP factory but was a gentleman's agreement with the import laws. They actually came out closer to 320hp stock. This is no GTR but be proud owning a GTT these days.
Mine was the same dude they are so boaty on stock shocks haha. Yeah man definitely proud to own this car, people absolutely love it too when it's out and about which is awesome :)
Good video guys, it was like sitting down and just having a chat. The number 1 reason for owning and building cars like ours is that feeling you get on a decent drive when everything comes together!
Any r34 in the US is a neck breaker. Couldn’t justify an extra 100k+ for a 4 wheel drive version of this car. Those that turn their nose up at a gtt just don’t know these cars.
GTR prices are absolutely mental for sure, this pushes GTT prices up as well sadly which makes it hard for people to get in them which is such a shame :(
As with everything these days, everything's insane prices, even battered ford transit connects are selling for a few grand when realistically they're worth 500 max, the world's gone mad in every single way! Over covid out nismo went from being worth around 10 grand to being worth 15, some went from 11 to 22k, above what it sold for in the dealer, absolutely mental, thank god the prices have started coming down
The 32 gtr is my dream gtr and the r34 gtt is my dream skyline. I’m thinking of importing one from Japan if I get stationed in there one of their bases
It's becoming the case the R34 GTT prices are getting very close to R32 GTR prices - definitely going to be a big decision there if you have to choose! Both are great cars though :)
@@ProjectRacecar when i bought my gtt from japan 3 years ago i could have gotten a good condition r32 gtr for the same price but the r34 is just too good looking
@@ProjectRacecar Somehow saw this reply just now. Anyway I agree. These feel heavier than they actually are. The nose feels really heavy while the rear has almost non existend weight. Also when cornering hard the nose feels like my old fwd Audi which understeered heavily and felt heavy. Yet the front still sticks to the road and doesnt seem to be letting go. I had a 2015 BRZ previously it is only like 100-120kg lighter but feels like a go cart compared to the Skyline.
Never say never dude, use it as motivation, GTTs probably won't go up to values that aren't achievable for most normal folk, it's just whether you think they are worth the money over something like an RS3 / 911 / M3 etc :p
No worries man gotta find motivation where you can :) 2 door manual GTTs are anywhere between £20-30k these days. If you wanna DM us on Instagram I'd be happy to chat about my car - @project.racecar :)
Assuming you mean how much hp can it handle, I'm not sure on the exact number. But it of course depends on what you use it for but I think they will reliably do 5-600bhp on a street car, assuming it's a manual, just don't quote me on that :)
Whinge, moan - too big, too boaty. Evo8 self flagellation. As soon as the GTTs are tuned well and upgraded with after market coil packs, induction, exhaust, turbo, intercooler and whatnot, they eat evo8s for breakfast.
We were specifically talking about stock for stock, they are definitely fast cars when tuned (as mine is now) and setup properly, no doubt about that :)

Top content. I just picked up a lightening yellow GTT pushing 430bhp. uk
The biggest bonus of it is that it’s cheaper than most gtr on sale rn.
Oh yeah by a long way, you might be able to get a 32 GTR for a little more money than a 34 GTT which is pretty crazy in itself! Haha

Thanks dude! Yeah definitely cant wait to get all the cars out together!

@@ProjectRacecar 6-6.5k € six months ago, nowadays up to 12-19k € in most of Europe.
Your looking at way more than that for a 34 GTT sadly, 32/33 Gtst can still be found for around that though 👌
GTT owner in HK here, totally agree what u said 😂 by the way where did u get the front bumper net...nice touch
Thanks man :) all the grills and stuff on the front were on the car when I purchased it so not sure I'm afraid :)
Enjoyed this video guys, just purchased a GTT was good to get some advice beforehand
Thanks man, glad we could be of some assistance 😀
Great video very informative would love to see another video on this
Thanks man, people seem to like these videos so we will probably do another one on a different topic soon! :)

Yeah everything went absolutely mental, it's great if you own one already but devastating if your looking to buy sadly
Enjoyed watching this❤️
Thanks dude really appreciate that!

Yeah I totally agree, I would like to experience the OG Godzilla one day but I love the R34 😀
2:07 thats why I want a four door GTT
Hahah yeah you definitley dont get the same stigma with a 4 door :)
About the weight my GTT is 1410kg and GTR is like +150kg to that. So they are not really that heavy.
That's interesting yeah, must admit we didn't Google the exact weight, they just feel quite heavy, don't you think?

Interested in the rust treatment you guys will be doing on the car!
Nice one, fingers crossed it isn't too bad. But something we definitely need to get done :)
Agree with all of this. Lol. GTT owner here as well
Glad it's not just us then :D If I had a quid for every time someone said, "ah it's not a GTR though" I'd be able to afford a GTR 😂
I’m 16 and it break my heart know that these are probably going too shoot up in price and I’m never going to get a r34 GTT :(

why hates 5 thing about his r34 gtr is that
his is not fast as mines
How much hp/tq does a stock gtt tranny make?
