Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, Avatar: The Way of Water follows the journey of Jake Sully and Neytiri's newfound family. Despite their best efforts to keep their family together, a familiar threat resurfaces and forces Jake, Neytiri, and their four children to flee to the land of the Metkayina clan.
Avatar: The Way of Water's plot will be a fully-encapsulated, standalone narrative, as will the other sequels, but will also be part of a meta-narrative that extends across Avatar: The Way of Water, Avatar 3, 4 and 5.

What do you think about the character creator options?
I like the option for voices and such. I will be making my Na'vi a male, also like the options for different hair and pattern on the skin. The original game made for Avatar before this one just has preset character faces, cool thing though about that is it was you started out as a human like Jake Sully and it would carry over some facial features and the form to the Na'vi Avatar form you played at a later point. For Jake Sully's Avatar it would be his twin brother who was the original one supposed to be in the program, but he died and Jake later adopted the avatar going into the events of the first movie. One thing I wish I could do is give my Na'vi a name had a name planned out already before release, Kamrakto Tsaheylu. 😁

That's the worst character customization ever
lacking, alot lacking. disapointed
I wish we can see our avatar character through the hole game and see walking around in the game to it could have been really enjoyable too my big is complain about this game you can't see your hole character only your hands
Its so cool getting to see the character customization. I'd say its fair, but I wish there was more for the hair and face customs, the blue skin and patterns though is top notch. Perhaps in an update later on they can bring more. As well as a 3rd person option
The game is not build for 3rd person, deal with it.
@@Commonfuckingsense How is it not built for 3rd person,when you can play this in co-op and can see your friend do all the animations in 3rd person?
@@balaksian The developers themselves said they want you to feel immersed in the world of pandora as possible in their game and first person was the way of achieving that.

I think adding sliders would be beneficial, there need to be more eye shapes and nose shapes too. Hopefully in an update they can add more. Adding different body types besides male or female, the eye colors are great!! And I love the choices for skin colors and patterns. Cross your fingers they can add more!

the body types of avatar are naturally slender and fit so there isn’t much diversity lol

I'm really glad to see you can customize the stripes and bioluminescent patterns, I just wish we could have more face and hair options. I found most of them to be kinda ugly tbh
The NPCs have some of the cutest hair styles and faces like why can't I have them too 😭

I wished so so bad to have 3rd person
I think it is okay because you don't see your characters face that much and it makes sense there is more patterns and colors because that is what you going to see because you look mustly at your arms
Side note you get more hair options later in game. Though instead of hairstyles they call it hair ties. I’ve found two so far but I can’t remember if they were out in the world or if I bought them from an npc.
How do you equip hair ties and where do you get them?

And in gsme you have customise tables
They look like baskets filled with ig red paint

@@159madmoneythere are stations in bases that let you customise your appearance
@@159madmoney you do clan contributions/sometimes Npcs have them but it’s super rare. Don’t know if it’s random to the camp or what, but almost every clan contribution finished gives a hair color or hairstyle. I’ve done a few that don’t give any before, so don’t be alarmed if you do like three in a row and you don’t get them. Most of the hairs are ones from main/side characters you interact with. I think I have about 22 different ones now, with about 18 different hair colors.
The face customizations were pretty underwhelming tbh
What we also need next are some more face, eye, lip and nose shapes. Along with some new hairstyles and voices further down the line!
I kinda wish the skin tones deviated more from the standard blue. I was kinda hoping to be one of the water Na'vi with aqua/cyan skin.
You can make a water avatar just saying
It's looks good but i definitely think it's need a couple of adjustments such as more voices, body types etc
But all of the Na'vi and pretty similar body types. Except for tails etc ..but most of the forest clans look the same
Yeah. It makes sense that they look very similar in the sense of body type (giving their diet and their genetics it wouldn’t make sense if you could have your character be chubby or super buff), but the height difference can be quite large between individuals, so I was at least hoping for a proportional/ height option
I like the character customization but there could be some improvements. I also wish they'd give the option to switch from 1st person to 3rd person view. I mean 1st person view is ok but I would like to see how the outfits look on my character during gameplay
PS this is just my opinion but sometimes 3rd person view is better than 1st person view especially when it comes to seeing where everything is before getting to it 😅
U can change your characters apearance and voice later in game. Its not permanent

Could have more voice options. Two of them sound female while only one is male.
I like the options. You won't really see your character anyways. Besides knowing ubisoft they'll probably have hairstyles in the shop.

You can see your character in character menu, on the mount and in cooperation. Your comment is simple fake. Stop bending reality to your narration.
Fun fact! You CAN change the character mid game, if you go back to HQ and go to the cave underneath it, then you’ll find a small display storage area beside the fire, there you can customize your characters and voices!
Ngl the moment you started randomizing the character they started looking 100x better and more unique.😂💯

Customization is great. But it would be better to have a slider as well, for example in Black Desert character customization, so we could make very special face to our characters. I like two faces only from all of the actual faces at the moment, some would be pretty cool if we could edit the nose, eyes, chin, cheeks and the lips to make the character more to our taste.
It would be so cool if they could use a picture/video of you to make a good quality navi that looks like you 😮
I mean yes it is first person so we don´t see our charackter so often.
But sometimes we do and than I want to have more options.
I know that u can get some more hairstyles from a german yt streamer I watched yesterday. At least that is what he said.
but in general I am a bit dissapointed as well!
I am also very dissapointed, that we can´t have romance option in there. This was my biggest wish because it is one of the key elements to become a Na´vi !
U learn to fight, to hunt, to survive in general.
U learn to get your icran and u become an offical member .. than u are allowed to get a partner!
Sooo I am sad that this is not an option. Anything else so far is ok for me!
I think it’s fine I was more worried about the stripes and the dots so they put time into that xD
you can unlock more hair and hair colors i got some from contributing to the clans
So male characters are possible as well!!

I was right about genders! But I guess... due to the trailer being the female version, that makes the female version is the canon version

Would have been nice to get a second male voice as there are 2 female voices. The male voice is actually pretty good but more options are alway nice

Really don’t understand people saying these graphics are great. Something about the whole game just looks so outdated. This would look great for 2009 but not at all by todays standards
The open world graphics are really good, I don't know why people think it looks bad. The character models aren't the best but they aren't the worst either

Pretty simple stuff for Creator on Avatar. Its so simple any twelve year old could do it. Oh wait! The game was made for Twelve Year Olds.

Great video! I specialize in character design and recently came across Stylar AI. It's an AI tool that's incredibly easy for designers to use, offering good control over models and images. Early stage and a bit buggy, but I'd recommend trying it.

The developers originally wanted to force us to play with Barbies for this game.

I’m so annoyed, though I’ll have to be stuck with it squeaky annoying woman, voice, if I choose female😭😑. She literally sounds like some lady trying to sound exotic from New Jersey with a fake accent.💀 plus you’re pretty much stuck with straight hair

welcome to the world today... where saying male and female is basically illegal and can get you banned from websites and have your accounts shut down... a wonderful world huh? 🤣
because it's not male and female. Its a body type and you choose your voice separately like bg3. You can make a muscular masculine character and have a feminine voice for example.
