Chicken rice in Japan usually mean ketchup fried rice with chicken. I like to make my sauce in advance to enjoy a few times!
But I wonder is it appropriate to call this a sauce? Or more accurately sauce with meat and veggies?

@@mykitchenday_byLinna Adding "with Linna" would help others find your new channel. I want that sauce over a baked potato.

Your plating is always appealing! I have started buying cherry tomatoes and cucumbers to emulate your eye appeal. Thanks for the inspiration!

Everything looked delicious as always! Your idea of a "snack " for your son is such a great example of how much love and effort you put into being a great mom. Here, a typical snack might just be a cookie or some fruit. It wouldn't be a beautifully made dish that could be served in a restaurant. You are awesome! I am curious if you have celery in the stores there? If you do, traditional Cajun style dishes usually start with what is referred to as the trinity, which is just onion, celery, and bell pepper. Those 3 ingredients will be useful if you want to experiment further with jambalaya, gumbo, red beans and rice, etc. My favorite western style hot sauce these days is Cholula, but my 2nd favorite is green Tabasco which is what I noticed you are using, so that's really fun to see. I especially like green Tabasco with seafood such as crawfish or crab cakes. I agree with another person who suggested adding Linna to this channel name. I will remember soon either way, but if I saw your name there I would click faster because I want to watch my friend Linna's new video. But, soon I will remember that My Kitchen Day is yours and I will click immediately, too. So, it's good either way. 💖

Thank you 💛 I also give them cookies or chips for their snack💦 it’s perfect if I can make them handmade snack but that just don’t happen everything 😅
Thank you for the tips! Next time I will try to level up my cheating Jambalaya 🎶
I am happy that you like Green Tabasco like I do💛 I prefer the green one over red one!
Hmm… I am worried viewers will get confuse with 2 channels that have the same “Linna”… so I thought of using a totally new name. How about I add Linna in my thumbnail for easy recognition?

Hello! I don't really like the taste of Ketchup, but this looks yummy. Does it taste strong like ketchup?

Hi! Thank you for watching 🤗 my younger kid doesn’t like ketchup either, but sometimes he asks for this chicken rice!
It doesn’t have strong ketchup taste, as when you heat it up, the strong sour taste evaporates and it turns into mild taste instead!

Isn't it okay to use cold rice since gradually it will become warm?

    • @mykitchenday_byLinna

the rice will remain hard if you fry directly. they need a little water to be soft.😅

You can also rinse it if you don’t have a microwave and don’t want to dirty another pan. Rinsing does wash off a bit of nutrition but it’s a good cheat.
