- Every NBA fan has seen Damian Lillard's pound stepback before. Need a go-to on a big clutch iso shot? Dame uses this almost every time. It's great for freezing defenders, separating laterally, or stopping on a dime for a pull-up. Check out the full breakdown!

How could y’all forget that he attacks the defender’s leading foot on the jab with the pound dribble... most important part...
XxNova Zayn pin this
True but I wouldnt call it the most important part.
I kinda don’t think he does, even if he did what does that do?
Brandon Parra it moves the defender’s front foot back; that why he has so much space on the step back lol. Watch inthelab’s DRose stepback
XxNova Zayn Nvm I see what you’re talking about now, read it as him attacking the lead foot with the dribble.
Seriously this channel deserves a million subscribers. Much better than some mainstream media such as ESPN.
Can you do an off ball defense vid?
He made one alrrady
I've been waiting for something JUST like this, thanks!
Awesome Channel!
I like your vids whenever I see you post because you show Dame a lot of love and I appreciate it. Keep up the good work ♥️
Amazing, just amazing. This channel needs more love. I’m a big fan, keep in up my friend
Perfect video. I've always admired Lillard's step back but never thought about a tutorial.
So underrated. Both this channel and the player.
Another great video
He doesn't travel like Harden. Nice!
obviously you dont know what a zero step is
THANK YOU! I’ve been meaning to implement this move into my game. Hopefully, I’ll learn to control my body on off leg shots too
Yesss i been wanting to learn this move
Awesome vid! What’s your thoughts on creating a Jrue Holiday breakdown? Since his team swept the blazers, I would like to learn his methods of attack.
Sweet vid
Beautiful beautiful move
great video
meanwhile, harden is doing the same move except without the pound.
I personally think Dame's step back is more efficient
@@snakeeyes7907 Dame's is easier to learn especially if your right handed. Harden's is really unorthodox. Plus I think it plays better into other potential counters .
It’s a step-back, pretty much everybody uses it
@By Any Means Basketball can u do a Dangelo Russell Breakdown Or Brandon Ingram
Can you do one for Rozier? He's an upcoming player and he has some very agile moves and amazing quick stepbacks
Please i need a vid on paul pierce's stepback or bradley beal's or anyone that mastered the good o'l stepback its my signature move and i want to make it more unstoppable
Great vid. Could you do hardens skip stepback pls. For those of us who don't really adhere to the pound stepback and use deceptive footwork instead.
This is my go to move dame grew on me as my fav player over kyrie especially cause I have a similar bulky build to dame
can you do a video on how to use your body to create contact on a drive or to gain separation to get a shot off
Can you do way more player comparison please good video and great channel
Dame D.O.L.L.A. baby
can you do a position stereotype: like type of center and how to excell
do kawhi vs kd, great content btw!
Great
Do video about how PF/C are dominating in nba with ther 3 point shot and post game.
KYLE LOWRY!!!! KYLE LOWRY!!!! MUCH NEEDED!!
The pound sidestep so lethal. Kind of like when you drive one way pound and step back. This is different, its a hezzy pound and sidestep completely freezes the defender. You can go double cross sidestep or pound sidestep which is more lethal because of the hezzy.
Can u do d rose again, I know you have 1 about his altheticism. But his game has change these years. So can u do a update again
Love y’all!!!
Yesss this is one of my favorite moves but I'm not as consistent with it as I want to be. Thanks!
wish u could do this in 2k
Could you make a video on Curry's ball-handling style vs Kyrie's? They have the best handles in the league but handle the ball much differently.
Edwin A. He’s done both in separate videos.
@@nathang9034 hes saying comparing it like how they did in markelle vs lonzo dude wtf
A hesi counter off this move is deadly 💀🤔
It looks like the derozan stepback honestly!
Dragic would also be a nice one!!
Can you do an updated Stephen curry vid
Planting the feet that hard will cause you to have knee ligament damage. Don't do it unless you have strong feet and gluteus maximus connection, which Lillard does. These types of step back moves are advanced moves needing superior footwork, and only after having enough body fascia and neurological connections to your feet can you do it in a safe and effective repetitive manner.
It's Lillard time!
Chandasouk bruh its dame time like fr..kinda like saying game time

Can you do attention to detail Shaquille o Neal?
Moses Madavaram dudes big that’s why he was so good 😂 ur welcome
damian lillard is such a beast pg but his ability preform in the playoffs holds him back... of course not counting the play he made against the rockets....
We call liilard step back step back on the pop because he always pops the ball or pounds it whatever you wanna call it before he steps back
Do y’all think Dame is a top 5 PG?
1. Steph
2. CP3
3. Westbrook
4. Wall
5. Kyrie/Dame
Until Wall empowers his teammates, I cannot consider him a top 5 pg. His own teammates complain about him smh. Assist numbers ain't everything
Wall ain't top five, and kyrie had worse numbers last year, less time on the court, and his team was a finals contender without him playing a game in the playoffs. Be real dude, hes at least top four, probably top three.
Cp3 over curry
1. Cp3 2. Steph 3. Westbrook 4. Lilliard 5. Kyrie
Give me Dame over Wall....
Please make Attention to detail Gilbert Arenas/ Paule Pierce
How the hell am I first?
Can you do a Brandon Ingram breakdown? He doesn't get credit for his game
Be extremely skinny, go in between screens slitther your way in the paint ez
He sucks...
So... we're gonna give credit to everyone who averages 16 ppg or does it only belong to discount, less efficient KD in Laker uniform??? GTFOH nigga. That skinny ass doesn't deserve a solo breakdown video.... yet
Just ask Paul George....
Lol almost every iso player like Russ/Harden/Dame/Kyrie don’t perform well like they do in the reg season(not saying they suck also Kyrie showed up big in the finals while harden, russ and dame had good moments).
Jesus loves you c
