Hats off to you for eating “pag pag” and for being brave exploring around Tondo. To tell you, in the Philippines people who are needy are the most kind and honest people but still take care of yourself and be aware of your surroundings.

Heyo Sam. I don't know what to say because I have a lot on my mind after this video. If there were more people with a character like yours, the world would be a better place. The way you treated everyone was amazing. It seems like people in Happyland are happier than most people in our hometown. And yeah, huge respect for trying Pagpag.

The boy said "nakakapagod" meaning "it's so tiring" and then he introduced his grandma. The "feeding program" is helping the people with food who can't afford and to provide meals to children to help with hunger as well as adults

You’ve been to the slum area of Tondo, where they have the “Smokey mountain” or mountain of garbage there. It’s true that Manila is not all the beautiful places around at Roxas Blvd, Pasay, and the new city of BGC. It’s been there way back before all the developments in Manila and most of the people there are squatters who built their houses just to survive in Manila coming from provinces where there are no jobs and find a fortune in Manila for a living. Thanks for sharing a little bit of money that makes them happy.

Honestly pagpag is really good especially when it's made in Tando Happy Land I love that place and the Philippines in general, I visited Happy Land 3 times and the people are Awesome and super friendly, not sure why everyone says it's Dangerous I've literally stayed with a family there I made friends with and never felt in any Danger, I see it like this, just because it's Considered a slum and the people don't have much doesn't mean they are bad people, just like myself I Came from a Super Actual dangerous neighborhood in Florida it doesn't make me a Bad person it's the environment you live in it's what you do in life and how you are as a person that's what makes one good or bad . I am definitely planning on going back to Tando Aroma/ Happyland again soon to visit my friends and who knows I might meet the lady who God intended for me.

Hallo Sam! 💯👍😃

kapoy = tired. the kid said he's tired already. while the long hair old drunk guy is asking for money for drink. he said "tagay" meaning shot or drink like a shot of tequila. in early part of the video you had shots (tagay) with the locals. a mistake telling that guy that you gave money... in that area... smh. and when you were about to leave, by turning your back at him while he was not yet done talking to you, he felt disrespected. he said "sandali (wait/hold on), ayoko (short for "ayaw (don't like) ko (i)" meaning "i don't like) ng bastos (disrepectful/ being disrespected). majority are nice people, but definitely there are those who aren't.

I hope every vloggers who features Tondo and Pagpag on their videos will do their part to help other people long-term, do charitable work whether be it in the Philippines or in other less developed countries.
Otherwise, these vlogs are meaningless . It will just be another UA-cam video meant to gain income by using these people for content ro add up to views, likes and subscriptions.. Just saying.

Oh definitely, I love to help and give forward as much as my budget allows to. So views, likes and subs are off course gaining income, but so far it's only scratching the surface of what I'm spending to be transparent. This video actually cost me more than it earned 😄
If I earn and can give forward, it's a win for everyone 😊
