My therapist recommended I watch some videos related to four seven eight breathing. Thanks so much for making this video, as soon as I practiced it the first time with you I could tell it would be a useful tool. Thanks again!!!

At about 2:42 into this, what was your second suggestion? I heard used a guided meditation but I couldn’t understand your second suggestion. Thanks for this information!
Thank you! I've seen this demonstrated breathing out of the mouth as wel as breathing out of the nose. What difference does it make breathing out of noah's versus mouth?
Hi there! Great question. Breathing through the nose usually fills the lungs more completely and the nasal passages are designed to warm the air and kill germs before the air reaches the lungs! You can read more about breath work here: www.choosingtherapy.com/breathwork/
This is helpful but just to point out each count doesn't last a second, it's more like a half-second. People can get put off because they found breathing out for 8 seconds difficult, however, half-second counts are easier to manage.
I love this really works when you practice it daily
Extremely Helpful.
THANKS so much for this Gab appreciate the time
Thank You kindly! 🙏
This helped with my BP immensely. Thanks
What a guide. Straight to the point. Thank you very much

I do it every day for 10 minutes, and funnily enough, it really helps with your singing as well, haha.
Hi. Wondering why the longer exhale is important? Also what is the difference between 4 7 8 breathing and box breathing, I.e which is better?
The longer exhale is most important

I practice this method in the savasana position. In my opinion it can be accomplished lying on the floor as well as in seated meditation asanas.
Teach this to children to help calm them during tantrums or stress
When you hold your breath do you do it by closing the muscles to the throat or by continuously tensing your diaphragm?

You have beautiful eyes. My husband appreciated this video. He is bipolar and has high anxiety.
True, I like her eyes too
@@RealGerry I like your head
Do you exhale through nose or mouth?
Inhale through nose, exhale through mouth. You can see she does that at ua-cam.com/video/akqgL9bW6a0/v-deo.htmlsi=iqV1CjVKj0Lbbe8J&t=204
