Looks good man, I really appreciate the footage of jobs after they are out of the booth and in natural light, always gives a better idea of what the car looks like. I know it's hard to keep tabs on every job but I appreciate when you give us finished footage.
Thanks man, yeah, I just had a spare 5 mins so I thought I'd do a quick update on this job. These days I've been so busy at work and also just moved home. Are you still interested in doing a shout-out vid for your channel? I'd be happy to do a colab vid to help your channel out.
I'm still in talks with the owner about getting back in the shop full time. We've been having a bit of time ironing out all the details, but hopefully I'll be back in the booth in the coming weeks, then I can get some footage going. It sounds like you've been absolutely swamped, I know how much even just losing a detailer can throw off a smaller operation, let alone another painter. Hope that apprentice finds his way in the world, sounds like you're understanding with him leaving.

Hah, just realised what shop you're at!! They did my XU1 back in 1981...first one in Perth with nissan metallic red + custom flake with no peeeeeel!! Sweet job and great guys 👍👍😂

Looks great ...I prefer the classic colours...not some old bogged up mole with some out there in ya face painted up Lipstick colour even the classic hub caps with widened rims or gts rims look great .

Scott F yeah 3500 is almost to cheap. I don’t see how they could make any money at that price. These days 5000 is a bargain and that’s just the outside no jambs or anything.

I’m looking to get a GTI ProLite. I want the gun for base (metallics) and I’m stuck on which air cap to get. Wanted to know what you would recommend between the TE20 or the HV25. Air consumption isn’t a concern. I’m spraying standox solvent

Same shop man, just out the polish/detail side.
What i would do is completely strip the car and give the entire car a bath to eliminate the rust then another bath to protect it, remember its a Holden,
