- Split-Fire's go-to self-contained log splitter is the 3465 36" stroke, which is becoming more and more liked in the rental & commercial market due to its high performance, low maintenance, and reliability.
The 3465 2-way wood splitter, powered by a Honda GX 160, can split logs up to 36" in diameter and complete a cycle in 9-11 seconds. An interchangeable 4-way wedge and 2-way knife that are fitted with a machined stud to the inner slide tube can be switched out quickly. Upgrading the Honda engine to a GX 200 or GX 270 will increase power and increase splitting capacity to 22 tons.
In this video we showcase the raw splitting power with a GX 200 up to 36" rounds. We had no issues getting thru our pile, that is..... until we decided to leave....

Never have seen the “European” method! Interesting seeing that with the longer stroke. That would be awesome campfire wood!
We haven't either, but maybe in a future video we will do some video on just that.
@@SplitFireSalesInc that will catch some attention in N America. People find it strange when they see something different. I am thinking about the short bars and Felling levers right now.
I think that the SPLIT FIRE 4203 splitter that I have in 92 cm (30 inches I think) is the minimum ideal czr we can place a log on one side while the other is split by the driver of the mini excavator ( I modified it because the importer didn't have one: too bad 😉,). We gain speed and we can make large logs without handling them by hand! This makes it more efficient and less expensive than a wood-fired combination!
