Update on Cozy Vanilla Bourbon! I’m actually liking it much better on its own without the cream. Now it’s reminding me of Fireside Flurries a bit. Still a little smoky smelling but it’s really growing on me and i def recommend smelling it in store!
These scents don't sound like items I'll get, except for the Sweet Whiskey. All of this cocktail, woodsy, or clean woodsy, earthy stuff is not my vibe. I've done more returns and exchanges this year than any other year. Lost are the good, sweet smells that they used to put out. Also, the longevity is not there anymore. With the higher prices, most are easy passes.

I was able to get the Sweet Whiskey last week. My store gives me sneak peeks and I sometimes get to purchase products early. I was so excited. I haven’t been able to get the vanilla collections yet but I was able to smell them in the store. I’m holding off on ordering them because I know there’s a big body care sale coming and I’m gonna wait for that. I really love the cozy vanilla bourbon.
I have a good little collection I only bought 2 in summer & I was underwhelmed & then fall scents came & i bought 4. Im gonna skip on these & wait for what comes next. I’d love to see a bakeshop collection ❤
It definitely should've been a signature scent for BBW. It was such a nice simple scent that so many people loved & it sold out so quickly! honestly I think bbw downplays how many people love vanilla and we need another vanilla scent in their regular lineup other than warm vanilla sugar (which I do not like & usually I like all vanillas lol)
@@mfish3rman i think it's delicious for the 30 seconds you can smell it. They should re-make it with the same notes and scent but way way stronger. It's in my top 3 of best vanillas ever made by BBW, but in its current ridiculously light form it's probably at the bottom of my list

Especially the fragrance boosters, prices are only slightly higher than a target or Walmart prices when they have the 2 for $30 deal going on like they do now. If your cleaning your bedding or washing towels and want an even better scent is when I’d go with these!
I love vanilla so I got Cozy Vanilla Bourbon, Fresh Vanilla Blossoms and Warm Vanilla Sugar. I love Fireside Flurries so the vanilla bourbon scent was a favorite. I haven’t worn Warm Vanilla Sugar in years, but since Wrapped in Vanilla wasn’t available I got it. I must say that I am really enjoying it! I didn’t quite get my vanilla fix but it was close. I hope Wrapped in Vanilla comes back soon 🎉

I remember when that scent came out 2017/2018ish & I ❤ it b4 it became popular, b4 it became a hit on sm. It prob was just another scent they was putting out in their fall lineup anyways. Sm took wind of it 2019ish then it blew up, so of course any SMART BUSINESS is gonna ride that train & make the mullah. They did for 4/5+ yrs but now bbw is ready to move on. They gave us the summer version (the red bottle), all the other bottles were the fall versions. They gave us 4/5+ yrs to buy & stock up but once bbw is ready to move on from a scent it's a wrap. That's how creative ppl/co's are, they get bored, tired of repeating & they like to move on. Shoppers have to be smart enough to stock up when scents are around & not expect every scent to be around every yr js.
Thank you for this review, you always have the best video's for bath and body works scents! Can't wait to smell the vanillas even if they are mediocre. I have never tried wrapped in vanilla but I might try to find it on ebay with how many people liked it!
All I was interested in was Sweet Whiskey. Since I smelled it, I’ve regretted missing it but I finally got some today. Super excited to finally get it when I pick it up.

Sweet Whiskey is nice when sprayed at first but after a while it makes me nauseous and the smell becomes too much so it’s making me wonder if cozy vanilla bourbon will even be worth it to me.

Dirty soul soap co makes a ton of bbw dupes and they sell bonfire bash in the mist, lotion, body wash, and scrub. Their stuff lasts a looooot longer too. I ordered boardwalk marshmallow clouds and it was spot on and strong.
I walked into my local BBW store and they had Sweet Whiskey and Cozy Vanilla Bourbon just in the minis. They are not available yet on the Canadian website as of yet. I was able to smell Cozy Vanilla Bourbon early. I was not impressed. No, it's not Bonfire Bash and I'm sad that Bonfire Bash is not back this year. I was only able to get it in the shower gel last year. I kept putting off in getting Bonfire Bash and missed out on it. Go figure it's not out this year. Even though I have Sweet Whiskey in my collection I probably will pick it up in the full size as I love this one. I will try out the other ones in store when released. So far 2023 for BBW is not the greatest in comparison to other years. It's a strange year.
I had a birthday mini reward to use last week and was surprised to find 1 mini of the cozy vanilla bourbon which I redeemed for. Funny how I find the exact opposite in which I find it so much smoother than sweet whiskey, seems lighter and easier to wear. Sweet whiskey should have always been right up my alley but never hit quite right. I am disappointed in no bonfire bash but I do have like 3 backups 😂 I ordered fresh vanilla, more cozy vanilla and a lot of the new candles with my 25% off coupon. So excited for apricot fig and the praline!
I was fortunate enough to have a sales associate get me the body cream for Fresh Vanilla Blossom. I think the sueded petals are iris, and with the sandalwood, I am getting Kaleidoscope vibes. Just no pink pepper. What do you think?
I'm not a huge woody or amber girl so fall isn't my favorite scent season. With fall in mind, I picked up: Fairytale, Fall In Bloom, and In the Stars. Maybe not the most traditional choices but these will be my go-to for the cooler weather.

I wish they would figure out the difference with some of the creams. I smell a funky smell with Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte cream as well. Disappointing. 😞
I think I’m the only one who hated wrapped in vanilla…it didn’t smell fluffy, creamy, or airy to me it was like a heavy vanilla buttercream. Smelled very similar to happy birthday or like buttered popcorn and I just do not get the hype around it.

I stopped buying their body creams. They get too yellow and smell bad! Lotions it is for me! I want to try fresh vanilla blossoms! I love fresh coconut and cotton!
I agree! I still have a few body creams to use up, but I’ve stopped buying them. They go bad too quickly and I purposely keep them out of the heat to try and prolong them.
What I am interested in the most is the shampoo & conditioner. Is it any good and how is the scent-longevity. I hadn't noticed they had that and now I m interested! SO SAD there is no Sweet whiskey bodywash! I should have got like 10 backups when they went on sale last year lol.

The Fresh Vanilla Blossoms is a dupe for Glossier's You IMO. When I first sprayed it, I recognized the similarity right away.

MPL body cream smells like vomit once it dries down
Thought it was just me with the cozy vanilla bourbon cream and midnight amber glow. The scent was off!

Cozy Vanilla Bourbon is basically Fireside Flurries. They smell incredibly similar if not exactly the same to me.
The mist for sure but the cream is much different and I layered them for this review 💖

I stopped buying their body creams. They get too yellow and smell bad! Lotions it is for me! I want to try fresh vanilla blossoms! I love fresh coconut and cotton!
I agree! I still have a few body creams to use up, but I’ve stopped buying them. They go bad too quickly and I purposely keep them out of the heat to try and prolong them.
@amberdawn8128 I had ordered a pink chiffon body cream during SAS. As soon as I put it on it smelt AWFUL! I threw it away! Lol

What I am interested in the most is the shampoo & conditioner. Is it any good and how is the scent-longevity. I hadn't noticed they had that and now I m interested! SO SAD there is no Sweet whiskey bodywash! I should have got like 10 backups when they went on sale last year lol.

i personally disagree. Midnight spell is very cologne like on me and i get more warmth and sweetness from wild sands :)
