I like it as a body wash, but I don't want to walk around smelling like cereal so I passed on the lotion and spray 😂

Happy Wednesday, Bonnie! I love strawberries 🍓, but I don’t want to smell like strawberry PEZ 😂😂!! I don’t like laundry scents either, only when it comes to my actual laundry… not in a body spray or perfume! Thanks for all your dislikes! It would be a boring world if we all liked the same things!
Love how you acknowledge the perfumers, chemists, and creators behind the scents. I would love to be a fly on the wall in the lab or in board meetings as well!

All of those scents are always too vanilla for me
No lavender (had a candle when I was pregnant and I associate lavender with morning sickness.) No cotton, no ocean, no laundry, no strong florals. I’m a foodie. But no pecan waffles.

I’m so glad you did this video because the ones you picked except for one, are all the ones I can’t stand either. I don’t like fresh or laundry scents either and also use scent free laundry detergent! Way to go girl! I’ve decided I like the spring and summer scents also better then winter scents, which there are a few but that’s it. Blessings to you and your family ❤❤

Awesome video, it’s refreshing to hear you speak about the scents you don’t like. Several of your No fragrances are my No fragrances too. Anything laundry, those weird cotton scent/ocean scents and definitely Beach Nights. I thought I was a lone wolf in not liking Beach nights; it makes me gag instantly.
Lol I worked at a bath and body and all my coworkers collectively disliked gingham. We all hated the packaging too
I'm not crazy about Gingham, but recently discovered the flanker, Gingham Love..... really like it.....reminds me a little of 'You're the One', and they layer well together!

Here’s my take on the ones you mentioned!
- cucumber melon: so nostalgic! i like how soft and fresh this one smells
- sea island shore: it’s definitely too suffocatingly “laundry” for me. i’d use it on laundry but not on myself 😂 (also, glad they changed it from the low-key racist “sea island cotton”)
- strawberry 🍓: i actually really like this one but it does get too sweet too fast
- open sky: n/a (i don’t remember how this smells but i grabbed the perfume because it was 75% off)
- beach nights: i liked this one but i wasn’t blown away- i actually think the driftwood works to soften the marshmallow notes
- sunrise sail ⛵️: this is a man cologne smell
- honolulu sun: n/a
- snowy peach berry: i love this one!!! it’s sweet but i don’t mind because peach 🍑
- summertime surf: n/a
- misty morning: n/a (but those notes sound like they’d be too strong for me)
- live fresh: n/a
- hibiscus paradise: this smell was ass, i hate it too 😂
- hello beautiful: it’s alright, it’s a sweeter floral (i can’t do full floral)
- ruby apple & rosewood: n/a (i don’t think it smelled unique to me in the stores, don’t remember it)
- berry waffle cone: it’s okay in small doses for me but only in candle form; it’s too sweet for body care
- ivory cashmere: n/a (but i probably wouldn’t like with those really perfume-ey notes)
- pink tie dye: i like this one! apple scents are some of my faves
- rose: i think this one smells so pretty!!
- gingham: i love gingham and i’m not huge on florals at all but this one is light and slightly fruity enough for me to enjoy. it’s easy to wear
- white tea & sage: i loved this one for a minute so when it came out in body care i was so excited but… it’s too strong in body care form for me
- pear creme brûlée : NOOO THIS ONE IS ONE OF MY ALL-TIME FAVORITES!! it smells the closest to toasted praline & pear which i love because it smells just like pandan waffles! i own 3 sets!!
- white t-shirt: n/a
It seems like you tend to avoid those beachy-themed scents that have cologne-y notes in them; cotton; super sweet fruit scents; anything too floral; and the one that traumatizes you (berry waffle cone 😂).

We had snow the other day and got maybe an inch...had most of the previous snow still left (8") for it to cover. It's barely made it above freezing since. Normal for the Denver metro. We get snow more often and more at a time then most but we do really love the snow here. It's tourism money that comes in. I have been fortunate to in my short time of "collecting" that I listen to reviews carefully for hints of things that may be of benefit to me. In store I always sniff test it. I have winged it a few times based on reviews from you and others and rely on the scent notes for online purchases for sure. Every person is so different on likes and dislikes. I love my style and appreciate other styles. I freaking love Hibiscus Paradise! See what I mean? Yet your recommendation on the Whipped Rose and Vanilla and the Blackberry and Basil made me grab them for sure...the latter becoming an instant fave. Thanks for all you do Bonnie. I appreciate all of your help in defining my style.

I tend to spray my boys down with “Sea Lion Shore” after they get home from school. It covers their sweaty, lunch box b.o. fairly well. I’ll spray their clothes too before school in hopes of they won’t stink all day long. It never fails though. Boys just roll on the floor for no reason. 🫣🤪🥴

I'm in the Lansing, Michigan area-- after our ridiculous deep freeze and terrible storm for Christmas time we had, it's not terrible, it was actually 50 out today 😳
I really like the Open Sky in body lotion. I use it on my hands almost every night before I go to sleep. I just find it so relaxing almost like lavender effect. I would definitely repurchase this one.
Im in total agreement about these scents except..I like the fresh ones. But almost all of the ones that were somehow nausiating

Agree on cucumber melon, i enjoy the fruit and vegetables, but the combo was never a choice. I do enjoy the Rose one, in the shower gel. Don't know if i would enjoy it in the body spray. We'll see...

Live Fresh came out in the summer in the collection with Beach Nights,Sweet Escape, and Get Happy. It was the "freah" cotton and some coconut, I think. I remember this collection it came out right when I started with the company

I remember when Japanese Cherry Blosssom, Warn Vanilla Sugar and Cucumber Melon was alllll the rage when I was growing up. It was my first introduction to B&BW, I wonder if cucumber mint would be good instead of cucumber melon.
I'm so confused as to when Bonnie started hating Autumn Drive. Her first impression was that it was a good one. She put it as #3 when she ranked the fall scents. Lately she's been saying that she can't stand it, but I don't remember her mentioning why she changed her mind.

I have the mist & I really like it -- although it's very light, however it is not a repurchase for me.
My "Strawberry" mist has expired within a year of having it and turned into a strong acetone/nail polish like fragrance so I exchanged it. I now got the "Strawberry Soda" mist and I notice it is also changing, this has only happened to me with this fragrance

I'm with you on laundry scents. I like the fresh scents like Sea Island Shores and Open Sky, but I can't do laundry, especially in candles. I use the All Free and Clear detergent too lol.
I just used up live fresh. I sprayed it in my shower each day before I got it. Took forever to use it up! Definitely not a repurchase EVER!
I love fruity scents the most and then my other favorite is woodsy/warm scents. Foodie/gourmet scents I like to except for waffle type scents. The two I can’t stand is blueberry sugar pancakes and berry waffle cone.
No laundry, No cotton, No driftwood, no ocean, no fresh air, no alcoholic scents... Unpopular opinion but I despise strawberry poundcake, Champagne toast, a thousand wishes, moonlight Path, Dark kiss...I realized last year I don't like most of the scents that BBW comes out with (in body care specifically), I guess I'm really picky. 😭

I'm the type of person who, most times, either prefers a scent on my skin OR as home fragrance except for fruity scents, which I like for both. I looove Open Sky in body care but not in home fragrance. I like the linen scents in home fragrance but not in body care. I too share your hate of Berry Waffle Cone and I don't like Gingham at all.
pear crème brûlée for me reminds me of my tech school days when i was training in texas, holds a special memories
The problem with Berry Waffle Cone is that there's too much waffle and not enough berry.

I dislike all strawberry scents but sweet escape! For some reason that’s the only one I like. I don’t like overly sweet scents. Like pound cake or whipped berry. But love bb shortbread and hot cocoa and cream!! So tastes are very different for everyone and that’s okay!!❤

I love the fruity scent of Prismatic Stars. Used the shower gel and after my skin dried it such a strong floral smell it gave me a migraine. It didn't have any fruity smell at all.

I expected you to have fresh coconut and cotton on the list since you don’t like cotton scents. That was one that I didn’t think I would like since I’m not a fan of the linen scent either but I did like it. I agree I’ve always hated berry waffle cone from the second it came out. But I like that pear one.

Pez candy also was powdery when you bit into it. Strawberry scent smelled like it also had baby powder in it.
Laundry scents are pretty much 95% no to me so rarely is there one I can stand, I wanted to try open sky and never got around to it, I feel like as weird as I am I WOULD like it haha! Thanks for your company Bonnie, you are too fun. One of my least favorite that everyone loves right now is the strawberry pound cake 🤷♀️ I can't figure out why though, the foodie scents are my fave. I ALSO AGREE the hibiscus one is horrid and I don't know why it smells good just strong and in a bad way

Bonnie I have the Live Fresh Seaside scent but I don’t know the notes of it either…I got it during an SAS probably 4 or 5 years ago lol I’m almost finished with it. I don’t love it but I like it enough that I wore it a lot last Summer when taking my walks outdoors.
I hate straight floral scents but I love Rose 🤷🏼♀️
The only scent I can think of that I hate is Dahlia. I’ve tried and tried to like it but I just can’t.

We got absolutely dumped on with snow here in MN between yesterday and today -- I'm i the Twin Cities and we couldn't even get the cars out of the driveway this morning to shovel, and the plows didn't come by until almost 5:00pm on my street. We've gotten over a foot in the last day, and it's still been coming down off and on. At least it's been in the 30s...we were -30 with the windchill a week ago so at least we're over that! 😅
I do agree there is no comforting vanilla in Open Sky, but that is one of my favorites!!! 😂 I grew up fishing and don't get the tackle box smell with that, but I do agree there is a different smell to it -- I just can't place it. That said, I think that smell is sort of what I like about it. 😅 I am also not a fan of Gingham or Berry Waffle Cone, and generally hate rose and lavender scents in general (though I did like both the rose and the lavender scents in the Aromatherapy tea scents they did last year, weirdly enough). I'm also sort of hit and miss on bergamot -- I have Golden Ocean Pearl in the shower right now and that one is okay in the shower gel, but I've had some of the bergamot-heavy Aromatherapy scents and they're just way too strong for me.

I agree with most of these. I don't lean towards fresh scents or beach scents. They just bore me and I don't reach for them. It's gourmand or fruity for me.
The only ones I'll say I do personally love are pumpkin pecan waffles and autumn drive. I adore them!
Lol I loved Pink Tie Dye. Was never too keen on Open Sky though. I liked Gingham at first but it started giving me a headache. But to be honest, I think I like about 85-90% of their scents.
Scents are so personal. It's okay not to like everything! I love Rose. I love fresh floral scents for work because I get sweaty so I have to be careful with fragrances and what works for me.
I got Beach nights coming I think it showed up just recently I'm going to smell it as soon as I get home from work😙
I hate the taste of pears but the scent is one of my favorites. I didn't like Misty Morning either...until I paired it with the perfume Anais Anais. Loving it now. I just bought Hello Beautiful with the intention of using it as a bathroom spray. I also used Rose as a bathroom spray. I don't like Gingham either, but White T-shirt is one of my favorites.
I pretty much have the same taste in scents as you except for original Gingham IDK why but I love love love it. I think it's still my absolute fave still 💙

I got a Bath and Body Works cucumber melon spray for a gift as a young teen. I liked it at first but it sat on my dresser for so long and just couldn't use it up or stand. finally I gave it to somebody who seemed to like it now I just don't want nothing to do with it.😝
