Love it! Reminds me when I hassled my dad to buy me my first magic set. This was the first trick I thought I mastered. I always let the ball show without realizing.
The best part of this was when I got to the end of the video and it was explained...and then I replayed it to see all the moves I hadn't noticed. Thanks for posting
Even though I've seen how the trick is done a couple of times now, it's still enjoyable to watch, maybe even more enjoyable. I suppose it's that little part of me who likes it to be "magic".😀
The cool thing about the trick is that it's pretty easy. You just have to commit the time. I learned a while back and I'm still deeply skeptical that I'm actually tricking anybody because it was mostly a lot of repetition as I did other things. I might be an evil magician as I made my wedding ring disappear a while back and didn't really want to bother making it reappear.
Thank you for sharing this. I learned and did some magic years ago for my sons. I now do a little for my granddaughter. Really fun. So this is very helpful and appreciated. I’ll be buying some stuff from your site; I want to support your efforts to help us completely amateur magicians improve!
While half of the comments here are being rude, I'm going to compliment the video. Thank you for showing me this, I might buy the cups and balls trick.
Thank you HXV 9. It’s all good. The bunch of rude comments came from a group of magicians who know each other and commented at different times to make it look random. Not to slick for “magicians” :).
They're only rude because they watched the video multiple times. If this was out on the streets, the same people complaining would be totally clueless.
@@MindBlownMagicIllusion Respect for other magicians is a huge part of the magician's code. If they've already forgotten that rule, they probably shouldn't be doing magic. It takes the spirit right out of it when they act like that.
I love watching Magic tutorials, it’s like watching the behind the scenes of a great movie. Thank you for teaching this classic trick, I’ll put it to good use in my school cafeteria 😁😁😁 BTW your sleight of hand is so good, I watched the video again after learning the technique and you do the movements so well and clean!
Thats done very good the magic is in the skill i saw a young man on the street in Germany do this with a small dice but when he turned up the third cup there was a large tomato he did this while standing up i found it amazing. i know it`s not magic just pure skill.
When I have already figured where to look, I can see the hidden tangerines and balls easily. So, I can't understand, why I didn't see them the first time.
It's a surprisingly easy trick once you know how it's done. It just takes a ton of practice to get to the point where you can do it while talking or doing other things.
People like to pretend they know everything. They watch it twice and say they noticed the first time. I think the misdirection was good, didn't catch a thing the first time through. Great video.
I raught at a school that was having a fundraising dinner. I was asked to perform. Maybe 20~25 tables. I taught some of my students to do some tricks so they could circulate and do table magic. I also did table magic using the same cups and balls that you have. Except rather than oranges I decided to use eggs. And I didn’t boil the eggs and one broke my pocket when I was performing at one table.
If you do the trick starting from the bottom cup, it's much easier. Stack the three cups together with the 4th ball in the middle cup, three ball in the top cup. Then with the three cups still together, dump the three balls out. Space out the three balls. Then with the stack pointing at an angle slightly down, remove the bottom cup and place it behind the first ball. Then tilt the two cups slightly up and remove the second cup (with the ball in it) and set it open side down behind the second ball. Of course you need to do it so you don't expose the ball in the middle cup. Not too slow so it falls out and everyone sees it, but not too fast as though you are hiding something. Then place the last cup down behind the third ball. Then do the trick. Try it this way and see if you don't like it better. You can reply
You are doing the trick correctly, but it's much better to hold the three cups in one hand, and take the bottom cup and place it down. Then take the middle cup ( one ball inside) and place it down, and finally the last cup. You need to hold the cups at an angle so the ball in the middle cup doesn't fall out. I like how with the third cup you make the ball vanish then it appears under the third with the other two balls.
Damn.... after listening to the explanation, I went back to the start of the video and him putting the tangerine in the cup is clear as day but I totally 100% missed it the first time. insanity!! I wonder what else I am missing in irl because my attention is focused elsewhere.
Yeah it's cool .. but ..you know .. There's variations that confuse folk more . And ... it's not the oldest trick The oldest trick is .. Pull My Finger .... 😁

Are you kidding? I mean you think he gave up the C&B? This is a simple routine for amateurs. There are a million people telling how to do magic, This is one of the most known trick in the world. Literally everyone knows how its done (even though this is kinda different). Do you actually think this method would spoil a magicians performance of the C&Bs? Seriously shut up and go learn a card trick. Nah go buy a gimmic
Don't listen to the haters. This is awesome and makes me appreciate magic more. Thank you for your videos.
The beauty of this trick is even if you know the ENTIRE routine- it still is convincing when an expert does it!
penn & teller does it with transparent cups and it's really fascinating.
@@bi_zha how on earth do you do it with transparent cups 😳
I totally agree man, its so fascinating

Wild watching the second time how brazen you are about putting the tangerines in.

Bro the tangerine caught me so off guard 🤣🤣
Same! So much so it made me chuckle when the second one came up 😂
That's awesome!!! Tricks me every time I see it...

This is amazing!
Sensational trick!
Very smooth. Nice
Probably want less reflective cups. If you angle it slightly toward the viewer you can see a flash of red in the reflection.
I think this is the first time when I’ve seen this trick where I really could tell exactly what was going on the entire time.
Thanks for the video
I’ve done Magic for years now and this is one of the only tricks that I can’t figure out how it’s done
Well explained👌

Actually some pretty good misdirection.
Wow is still amazing the trick very difficult to master
I saw him put his right hand down the table thinking that's where he hid the ball. Never thought that's where he took the tangerine.
This is much more tricky than some make it look😎👍🏻
Brilliant trick
I think it's really the second tangerine that does it.
It’s easy to catch him pop the oranges if you watch it a second time, but not the first time when you are not expecting it at all.
Excellent presentation
This is an easy routine for beginners but do work on your presentation. It is how you can make it amazing
Hahaha nice!
I watched the performance and then stopped. It is a lot more fun, being fooled and amazed! I hope I never learn the secret.
nice man very nice
Damn.... after listening to the explanation, I went back to the start of the video and him putting the tangerine in the cup is clear as day but I totally 100% missed it the first time. insanity!! I wonder what else I am missing in irl because my attention is focused elsewhere.
im going to try this with things at home before buying a better one
You can clearly see him put both tangerines under the cups. 😂
Nice video. But the load of the orange is not clean.
Thx for the instructions
Ah, yes.
Cup
Ball
Tangerine
I didnt see the oranges until you said it on how to do it and i went back 😂
The real CBT
Wow❤
In the streets we call that 3 card ! Monentey 🤔😆🤗🙏😅😂😂🤣
I'm not sure I wanted to know this!
Thank you very much. Greeting from Berlin
I've seen this on the street in person. Dude used a cantaloupe under his hat he kept setting on the table. NEVER saw it.....
Watch the beginning again to catch the tangerine and missed it again lol.
POV you’re here trying to find out how he made the 20 dollar bill float but there is no video for it
Except this one?

The silver cup reflected on the inside showing the balls.
Just one suggestion: best to have cups that do NOT have reflective insides...
you should be a car salesman
all you need to do is watch his right hand ?were he gets them from its easy to see
Cotton balls work.

cool but if u look good you can see it .
I can’t do it
Its only impressive when done with clear cups

Sure, after you rewatch it but not on the first watch though. If you say you saw it right away, you’re definitely lying.
