Gotta add one very important thing though - Prophet's Cape
This item is already absolutely irreplaceable on every survivor but Enforcer of all survivors gets the absolute most out of it since blocking attacks with his shield counts for Prophet's Cape healing effect
The fact that I somehow forgot my literal favorite item for this character is wild, but absolutely yes prophets cape, literally his best possible item and if you get aegis too, oh boy.
Yeah this is lit
I would argue Prophet's Cape is better on Loader, with his two seconds of on demand invincibility that you can keep nearly 100% uptime on in melee range rather easily. The sheer amount of healing from blocking with enforcer is nice, but it just isn't as versatile.
Happy you decided to cover every survivor. New players being blessed
Thank you! I'm really happy it's been helping so many people just getting into the series, ya love to see it
hello cap
I used to hate this dude in the original game, but I found him a lot easier and more fun to play in this one
I'm loving him even more here as well, though RoR2 VR with enforcer modded in just hits different lmao
When I start playing with the other characters, you can safely bet I'm going to use your guides so that I have a theoretical understanding of how they work! Helps me process the possible different combos given the various alts.
You can end shield charge early with shield mode if you are not already in shield mode. Works with changing the direction you're facing too. Additionally, hardlight afterburner reduces the cooldown of shield mode enough that it virtually removes the down time of entering and exiting.
Love your videos man. Consise and very informative. Keep up the great work!
Thank you much fren, absolutely will do ^^
Dropping a comment to help the algorithm, keep up the great work!
Thank you fren!
hardlight is pretty incredible with enforcer. With its incredibly low cooldown it allows you to chain jumps and shield slams while moving to group large amounts of enemies, dealing reasonable damage and moving at a fairly good pace while keeping you safe. The shield slam's damage and range are almost comparable to a shot of your primary fire so it's much much better than you describe in this video. Of course if you want to hunker down hardlight doesn't do too much but in nearly every other scenario it's brilliant when properly utilized.
To each their own, personally as I explained to another commenter I find it underwhelming relative to other reds and it's performance on other characters
It's like, Hardlight? Based, awesome, love it
Hardlight on enforcer? "Meh. I mean it's aight, but I really wish that was a perma or a dagger or a bazooka or etc etc etc"
But that's why I like these cuz people give good suggestions on how to better utilize it differently than I do, and now new players who see this will have more ideas! So I appreciate ya sharin :)
@@whispers8888 My pleasure. Keep making these videos they're entertaining, informative and overall just well worth watching.
I've always loved enforcer he's my second favorite right behind my my number 1 engineer. My first run on enforcer on RORR I beat the game.
To this day I just love that Enforcer's Crowd Control with ancient scepter (Tear Gas) can stun lock Providence to death if you have the right red items.
gotta love casually stunlocking deity-like beings to death for funsies lmao
my favorite survivor
Ayyy enforcer, I find that I love the combo of shield tackle then at the end of the charge use protect and serve which deal quite a good damage (also it allow you to cut short the shield tackle's charge too if I remember correctly) then you hold the toxin, uuuh it felt good to mown down enemies after that
Very good tip to use it to cut the charge short, I tend to use it with shield already up so I didn't even think of using protect and serve to charge cancel. Thanks for sharing the tip!
Np👍
bit late to the party cause it was getting to 12pm
hope everything going well
did not know ult primary was so good for procs nor ult secondary could turn around shield
Why is afterburner not good for enforcer? I've found it a few times and it was awesome to have. Slam the shield, start shooting. Once it becomes too dangerous you can retreat without using up tackle. It's also convenient if you're being attacked from all sides. Slam the shield, destroy the threat, turn around and do the same.
I find it very niche, generally playing enforcer well means not putting yourself in a situation where effectively getting rid of the cooldown matters in the first place, that is a creative use of it though to maximize the slam and is very smart, but I just find it underwhelming for a red relative to all the other red items
If you need any mercenary tips, I’m here
Can you reload the alt primary whenever or do you have to fire all 4 shots? I hope I’m wrong
You have to fire all four before you can reload, it's the one thing I deeply dislike and if it was changed I'd main grenades
im currently struggling with beating judgement as him. i can make it all the way to final phase of providence and then i make a mistake or i just get oneshot from a stray hit that a minion with enforcers charge stuns me into.
its really weird, for that context i honestly dont run atk speed almost at all. i do typically more passive effects, or on hit things and just position myself to hit a crowd to get the best odds of triggering the effects.
and ive been running imp tentacle instead of scorchers. the only reason being i use almost every guardian heart i can get as im not perfect and the shields work as pseudo healing. but the shields have to break for scorchers to work. and they dont do enough damage imo for it to be worth it with my build, since by then im already almost dead.
so imp is my old reliable since the imp can continue to attack when im busy being a coward and running away without movement abilities.
Bit late but if you haven't beaten it already, Ifrit's Horn is the play.
My personal least favorite character in the entire game, and I can't wait for "how to play artificer" as well
Absolutely fair, his playstyle certainly isn't for everyone especially in a game like this, but I'm excited for arti too with the new buffs. Universal speed increase and the ice having more health really helps
THEY LIVE (sorry!)
They* BUT YES I LIVE :D
