The wire from QS was probably tinned copper, it has better corrosion properties after being tinned from wet or dirty environments.

when sizing your chain first push the rear tire all the way forward then install your master then slide the tire back to the proper tension. you started in the middle which will likely result in a link removal later to compensate for any stretch and wear

Right on! Thanks Thomas. I mentioned that in text when I was addressing chain sizing. 👊

Masterlink clip was installed backwards. You want the closed end facing direction of chain travel. If it gets snagged on anything as it is it could pop the clip off.

QS165 motor shaft has a right hand thread for the nut which means that you have to put motor sprocket to the left side for the nut not to be unscrewed when motor turns. And of course the wheel large sprocket must be on the left side too. The original motor for Razor Super moto ( kunraj MY1020 ) has left hand thread. Probably that's why you just put QS165 there replacing the old motor, But make sure the nut not be unscrewed during ride.

What guage wire is recommended for upgrading the phase wires?
I presume it partially depends on current going through them...

Thank you for watching man! 🤜🤛 if you’re buying used I’d just get whatever is available in your area. If you’re buying new… I like the SX since the seat is more comfortable and the battery areas is bigger
